Original Movement's offer is holistic and honest. The studio is well equipped and looks out on to the Trent. The culture is welcoming, friendly and inclusive. All the Trainers are professional, friendly and knowledgeable. I've been training with Steve Alyward for over 4 years, Steve's approach is to mix up the sessions to get desired physical results with an element of fun and self competition. My strength, balance, weight and emotional well-being have benefited as a result of weekly PT. A self investment worth making.

As well as providing personal training, the trainers are knowledgeable in all areas of health, nutrition and general wellbeing, and care about providing their clients with an all round holistic approach to fitness.
I have been training with Steve Aylward for a number of years. The workouts are varied and challenging and I have appreciated his positive approach and encouragement. He has gone above and beyond to help me achieve my goals and I am massively pleased with the results.
I regularly use the sports massage, osteopathy and physio services that the gym provides, which is an added bonus.

I've been going to Original Movement for ten years and have had Steve Aylward as a personal trainer. Steve is absolutely excellent - friendly, very knowledgeable and hugely motivating. No matter what your fitness goals are, Steve can help you achieve them. He tailors sessions to each client's (changing) needs which really helps you achieve results. The gym is well-equipped and very organized and the whole staff team are fantastic. I've also had physiotherapy from Lucy and sports massages from Amanda and Stephen -all have been exemplary. It really helps to go to a small and friendly gym that has so many inter-connected services. I could not rate Original Movement highly enough!!

Steve Aylward at Original Movement has been my personal trainer for over five years now and I have complete confidence in him. He is professional, knowledgeable and keeps fully up to date with the changing science relating to fitness and well-being. Most importantly, he works with me - and I am not in the first flush of youth - at my pace and takes full account of my own health issues while gently but firmly encouraging me. Together, we have improved my fitness markedly. I could never go as far as saying that I enjoy going to the gym, but Steve makes it as pleasant as it could be while still pushing my onwards and upwards!
Catherine Lineker provides me with personal training focussing on the Wattbike. I also attend her on-line 'stretch and flow' and 'core stability and posture' classes, as well as taking advantage of her sport massages. Catherine is excellent, a consummate, well-informed and highly-skilled professional who really cares for her clients and who always goes the extra mile to provide a personalised service. I would recommend her unhesitatingly to anyone seeking good, holistic fitness advice and training.

My trainer, Catherine, shows a genuine interest in my personal goals, pursuits, capabilities and impetus; this often serves as motivation in itself. The experience continues to be a wholly positive one in which I have achieved things I sincerely did not believe I was capable of.
