Prime Life Project has become a really valuable and awesome part of my life. Before I was introduced to the PL crew I exercised but my body and mind weren’t improving. They taught me how to train to get results. I’ve completed courses with Dan and have regular PT with Charlie. The routines and boundaries I’ve developed over the last two years when I first started engaging with them are beyond anything I thought I could achieve. I could go on… life changing, seriously !!

By far one of the best gyms I’ve trained at, the equipment, ambiance and coaches make sure you get the best out of your workout. Literally the best decision I ever made was taking the step to talk to Dan. We had deep chats, he recommended I work with Charlotte and I have just gone from strength to strength. I am honestly a woman reborn, coming from a very dark place in my life my mindset and body are the healthiest they have ever been. Charlotte is incredible to train with, she has built me the perfect plan and motivates and encourages me every day (even when we don’t have a session). The entire team are so lovely and you would not regret working with any of them. I've been with PLP for nearly a year now after following my coach, Charlotte, when she moved to join their team. Dan and the other coaches have always been extremely friendly and approachable when I've been in the gym, and the resources and content they produce is fantastic! From the podcast, to the Q&A sessions and just the knowledge they share on their pages, I'm always taking little bits away to help me with my fitness or that make me think about choices I'm making and if they are serving my needs.
The gym itself has an excellent variety of equipment and free weights, and it's never so busy that you can't get to use what you want.
Charlotte has always been a fantastic coach, but it made me so happy to see her flourish even more being surrounded by like minded colleagues who focus on your mindset first and take your wellbeing as a whole! My goals have shifted here and there during my time with Charlotte, and she has always taken the time to talk to me and adapt things as necessary. This has made Charlotte more than just my coach, she is a very good friend and I couldn't imagine training with anyone else. She pushes me to work hard at my sessions, and I always have fun when we train!
I would highly recommend PLP to anyone who is looking for help with their own fitness, whether you're newer to the gym and want to build confidence or if you're an avid gym-goer who wants some extra support with refining techniques.

I joined PLP last year when i followed by PT there and have always been made to feel super welcome by all staff. Dan is always championing to look after your mental health and looked for different ways to offer that during the recent lockdowns through both running mindset sessions, online classes, weekly Q&A sessions as well as his podcast.
The gym is kitted out with first class equipment and machines, no expense has been spared and the layout makes it easier to move around.
Defo recommend for anyone looking to support independent businesses that care about finding staff aligned to the purpose and who care about your goals/progress.

I have been training with the Primelife project for just under three months. My personal trainer is Charlotte and she is wonderful. In such a short time I have dropped a dress size, whilst still leading a fun happy life and I still have Prosecco at the weekend. Together with the right exercise and nutrition plan I feel full of energy. Charlotte guides me motivates me and we have many a time where we have a good laugh as she say FOUR more!! I used to hate the gym, dreaded it but now I can’t wait to go. It’s no longer a chore but fun. Charlotte is dedicated to my workouts and I feel she is engages with me. Continually correcting my posture and telling me how to get the best out of the exercise. I feel really great which is not bad for a woman almost 60. It’s never too late to start getting fit and feeling good so thank you Primelife project

Everyone at the PLP project is amazing and couldn't recommend it enough. I have been having Charlotte for about 3 months now , she is so lovely and really knowledgeable. She's always happy to help with any questions etc. Since having Charlotte, she's really helped me with the nutrition side of things, although i'm not there yet, I can see the huge difference there has been since having her, so am super grateful to have such an amazing coach! I have been given a training plan which really challenges me with the goal of getting stronger, and always enjoy our PT sessions where she's always challenges me to increase the weights and make little tweeks to form where needs be. Also I have really learnt how important looking after your mental health is etc, and establishing a routine including doing a gratitude journal which I find really helps! Overall, I couldn't recommend the prime life project enough!

Highly recommend the Prime Life Project for anyone wanting to improve their lifestyle and gym training.
I have sessions with Hannah who is a natural at what she does, quickly accessing individual clients needs and goals. Always on hand for support with training and nutrition and works hard to get you comfortable in the gym and teaching you to take on healthier and positive choices in life.
She's very knowledgeable and connects really well with everyone she works with enabling people to be successful and achieve their goals.
The whole team is very friendly and hardworking and offer great advice and support as part of their passion for coaching

Where to start!!!
Been a member of the Prime Life Project for almost 2 years now! Even though I'm still a long way of my fat loss goals they have changed my life for the better.
I have trained with 2 of their P.Ts. both have been nothing but amazing!! They have helped me lose 3 stone in total so far, kept it off a year and taught me the correct way to keep the weight off for good.
I do have more to lose but learnt that it's a long journey ahead and one I can enjoy along the way.
Its been a mental battle for me learning why I emotionally eat and how to control/understand it.
They have helped me build confidence in the gym and learn to push myself more!

I can highly recommend The Prime Life Progect and Daniel James. I joined to loose weight, which I did, but I also learnt that it's not all about the scales it's also about learning to love yourself. In 3 months I have lost over a stone and dropped 2 dress sizes and haven't been hungry once. I wish I had done this years ago. Don't waste any more time with the quick fix diets, The Prime Life Project will steer you in the right direction.

I would absolutely highly recommend The Prime Life Project and any of their PT’s (in particular Charlie).
You get nothing but support, help and guidance with nutrition, training, mental health and you’re constantly learning things (or is that just me?)
I have worked with 2 PT’s and have learnt so much since I started with The PLP in October 2020 with the goal of training for Tough Mudder being one of the main reasons I looked for a PT, as well as wanting to lose weight. I now feel so much more prepared and ready for Tough Mudder in August with thanks to PT sessions with Charlie (and Hannah), as well as the HIIT sessions they put on at the gym!
I now train with Charlie who is able to fit in a PT session for me around my work schedule, only being able to sort this out when I see my shifts the Friday before the following week.
Charlie is able to answer any questions I have, whether it be a small question or an essay.
He’s super knowledgeable, as a couple times we’ve had to swap and change exercises due to an existing injury which came back. He’s also approachable and easy to talk to whether it be about nutrition, training, mental health or random stuff whilst training! Last Set, Best Set also has to be mentioned!
As well as Charlie, Dan is awesome and is also very passionate about mental health (more people should be!) His PLP Podcasts are amazing and are well worth a listen. There is a podcast in there for everyone, his guests are fantastic and the things they cover absolutely blow your mind. Lockdown has been tough on many people and Dan’s weekly live Q&A have been a great help for people with any questions about mental health, training, nutrition, fat loss etc.

I have trained with Charlie for 7 weeks and and have seen a huge benefit in my training results. The training plan is very clear and flexible to fit into my busy work life. Charlie is very response to questions outside of training and always happy to explain things more than once. If your like me and want to stay in trim, get stronger, but still want to eat and drink (a bit too much), they'll ensure the sessions counteract your bad habits! (Don't you Charlie!)
I can guarantee one thing, you will find your perfect fit with one of the PLP professionals who will motivate you whilst training and even when you aren't actually at the gym.

When I came to Dan I was a mess. I had recently discovered that my fiance was having an affair and I wasn't coping well at all and I wasnt eating. The main thing that attracted me to Dan was the added mind coaching. We started with a free 1 hour consultation where I pretty much just opened up and ranted. By the time the hour was through Dan had managed to put me in a much better head space and I was motivated and focused on developing myself and my health. I have been going to the gym on and off for years but without any proper training. Training with Dan has helped me hit the muscles far harder and more effectively then ever before and has also helped to target some of the muscles I struggled to train correctly. I was also given a meal plan which has taken the guess work out of my neutrition. In the space of 4 weeks there was a noticeable improvement in my physique and muscle mass. Being able to talk about my mental health during training sessions to combine training and mind coaching has also dramatically improved my mental health. I'm now looking positively towards the future and will be in very good shape for the summer as an added bonus! I can't recommended Dan enough!
