I have been training with Hugo for 10 weeks now and over this period, I am amazed at the progress I’ve made. When I first started training with Hugo, my stomach muscles were really lax and now they are so much stronger and tighter which has greatly helped with my back problem. Hugo has taught me how to use these muscles correctly! Over the ten weeks, when using some of the equipment, I have progressed from low weights to higher weights and in some cases, double the weights. Hugo is a great teacher with a lots of patience! I try to attend his Pilates classes once a week and this has greatly increased my body’s flexibility.

I highly recommend Hugo’s Pilate’s Movement classes. I have found them really beneficial to relieve me from the side effects of a desk job, as well as generally increasing my flexibility and mobility. His instructions are clear and concise helping me perform the exercises correctly and with ease.
I have a number of old cycling injuries, which can limit some of my joint mobility. Hugo’s classes have encouraged me to re-engage with the problems areas and helped me target the muscles I have otherwise ignored.
Recently I asked Hugo to give a lunch time corporate class at my office and it was a glowing success. Most attendees had never done a class like Pilates before but all are now keen to try it again.
One said “Hugo was a very helpful, relaxed and friendly instructor who made the class really enjoyable. It was a great break from a normal working day, and it’s definitely something I would do again.”

I booked a one-off session with Hugo to supplement the progress I've made in his Pilates classes. In our session we went slowly through engagements I found challenging, and also identified some areas I could particularly improve. After the session, I came away with a list of new things to focus on (kindly typed up and emailed to me by Hugo!), and now the same Pilates classes feel more challenging, because I'm able to approach them with better insight into my movements. Hugo is very clear and professional in his communication, both in terms of instructing his classes/sessions and also in arranging the session by email, which I also find important.

I’ve suffered with neck and back pain for several years and, after trying numerous treatments and visiting many experts, I had pretty much lost hope in improving my condition in any significant way. However, after a couple of months of sessions with Hugo, I have already begun to see huge improvements and have made considerable progress.
Hugo's broad range of expertise has helped to deal with the many factors that contributed to my physical problems, rather than just focusing on a temporary fix. He provided consistent and detailed workout plans to keep me focused between our sessions and was able to answer every question relating to my injuries.
I’m in much better physical shape now than I have been for a long time. I can’t speak highly enough of the sessions with Hugo and I would definitely recommend him to anybody experiencing similar physical problems.

Hugo taught me how to understand the correct movement patterns within my body to basically move properly again!
Since I’ve seen Hugo, my knee pain has literally gone after 3 years, he taught me how to activate and strengthen my gluteus on a daily basis. I can now train legs and run properly without having to worry about the sharp pains I used to get through my knee!!

Hugo is brilliant, I would highly recommend him. As someone who has a desk job, Hugo worked with me to increase my fitness and flexibility; specifically focussing on my wish to perform a handstand.
His patience, excellent knowledge and clear and professional teaching methods have made the sessions really enjoyable.
