Wow well do I start.
The services that David provides are excellent.
I first started on 121 sessions with David, I enjoyed these and have now moved on to the group sessions and kick fit.
I actually really enjoy the group and kick fit more than the 121 sessions.
The confidence I have gained since joining group has been massive as we are more of a family than a group of individuals.
Things may not be “normal” at the moment, but David has been able to adapt to the “new normal” and where an online platform is not ideal it does make the best out of a bad situation.
I know that due to COVID I am not where I want to be physically or in appearance and at times my mental health has not be great. But David has been there to support, guide, coach and listen through these times.

Being 42 and being on yo-yo diets most of my life, I wanted to work with David to improve my thought process and get fitter.
David is very approachable and makes you feel at ease straight away.
We worked together to find practical strategies and ways of thinking that would help me, something I have never done before.
I no longer feel like I am in the vicious circus of yo-yo dieting but working to understand and listen to my body, which is making me feel more energetic, positive, and fitter, in turn that is changing my body shape for the positive but I am no-longer focused on a number but how I feel instead which feels very liberating and positive.

I would highly recommend David for anyone unsure or looking to get a personal trainer David is second to none. From the very beginning David was understanding and very clear of the process we discussed prices and I felt no pressure in making a commitment there and then. After commiting to David I had some commitments that meant I may not be able to commit to David for the 12 weeks but after speaking with him he was understanding and gave me the option to continue until I knew what was happening with my situation or stop the process. You get the choice of what plan suits you best and David will discuss what he thinks is best for you. Honestly if you are looking to get help with your new found fitness plans or looking to push to that next level David is the perfect person for the role and will help you achieve your new found goals. With David he will go through not only the fitness side of things but will also help you open up about the mental side of the journey. With all of these techniques David will help you succeed not only during this process but for the rest of your life. I would highly recommend contacting David If your are looking to succeed. I am currently completing a 12 week programme with David and I have not looked back and I could not recommend him enough. Thank you

I can’t express in words just how glad I am, that I decided to join DMPT.
Before joining, I had been stuck in such a rut of yo-yo diets that never lasted, and I felt absolutely horrible about they way my body looked.
I did have a few reservations about joining, would I like them? Would they like me? Would I be any good at the exercise?
But, I couldn’t have been more wrong, and even in my first session I knew I’d absolutely thrive in the classes. They are so much fun and the people couldn’t be more kind and supportive. David and Leonie are very knowledgeable in terms of knowing what you need to do to help you achieve your goals and they are always happy to help.
Since joining, I have lost both lbs and inches, which is my main aim and it’s such a great feeling to see if coming off. The thing that surprised me most was how much my happiness and confidence has increased so much and in such a short space of time, it’s a fantastic feeling.
I’d 100% recommend DMPT if you feel you need to do something and you are looking to feel happy and more confident 😊

David Mackman Personal Training has been amazing. I started in February 2017 and at this point my body was not doing what I would have liked. David Mackman Personal Training has guided me through walking the Great Wall of China (May 2017) to re starting my boxing. Not bad for someone whose knees seemed to have given up at times...not any more! The process has helped me enjoy exercise again.
David Mackman Personal Training offers free sessions which are very beneficial and then offer various packages to suit individuals. Plus they offer group sessions with people who all want to improve their fitness and be able to move more.
I would say the process has been life changing and I have really enjoyed my sessions with Leonie. We do spend a lot of time laughing through our sessions and she really understands me and helps me work towards my goals. Leonie also puts up with a lot of my whinging which I know she secretly enjoys.
Yes the process has been expensive but it has been worth every penny as it has really made a difference to me, my quality of life and my family. I am not sure you can put a price on that.

I felt like I was at rock bottom- I had no confidence and hated the way I looked in the mirror. I had tried no end of fad diets and nothing had worked in the long term for me. Working with David was amazing! Sessions were fun, ever changing and challenging and left me on a high! My measurements were fantastic- I lost over 20cm on my stomach but the BEST result would have to be my new-found confidence. I feel so happy and comfortable in who I am and have been taught how to maintain my new level of happiness!

“When I started I felt over weight and under motivated. I needed to find something to enjoy and get fitter. The free session sounded good & I was excited to give it a try. Socialising whilst exercising appealed to me in particular.
The members were very welcoming & I immediately felt part of a team for one end goal - lose weight and get fitter!
After 6 weeks, my best result so far is loosing just over a stone. I’ve attended the classes and made small changes to my diet so I’m very pleased with the results.

I've been having coaching calls for a few months now and with David's help I've been able to see and look at things differently.
I really wanted to do one of David's group sessions but after explaining why I couldn't David had another way to help.
I don't find it easy opening up to people but David makes me feel at ease and not judged.

I have been with David and Leonie since end of January, and since then i have seen results after results!! I signed up to group sessions and have throughly enjoyed it so far as its so different from a usual gym environment! Them two are an absolute joy to be around and they are so positive all the time. I had just had a baby so my self esteem was very low, constantly not feeling good enough when i looked in the mirror. I even felt like i couldn't remember who i was before being a mum. I wanted to get the happy fitter me back so i could be better mentally and physically for my self, my daughter and even my husband. I tried to do it on my own, diets and gym, but i never had the motivation on my own. Then i found DMPT. I am so grateful for the opportunity of working with the team. They give you so much encouragement even when youre lacking yourself and they give you the strength to keep going. The group's are fun yet challenging and the one to ones are bespoke but varied weekly. I'm still not at my desired shape but my results have been incredible so far i know with the help of DMPT I'll be there in no time. Im so proud if what i have achieved so far. THANK YOU!
