Reviews of Simon Holland PT
We started our journey with Simon on 3rd June 2022. I had been a gym goer but had not entered a gym since Covid. My husband has visibility issues and had not entered a gym for 15 years as he felt uncomfortable with people not understanding his limitations. Our goal to start with was to lose weight and become a healthier version of ourselves. We went for a consultation with Simon so he could understand Micks sight limitations and if he could help us. He instantly made us both feel comfortable and it was from there we started our joint PT sessions 3 times per week. Our journey so far has been great and we are both a lot lighter on the scales, have lost inches and feel great in ourselves. We can not recommend Simon enough, he always mixes up the sessions so you’re not doing the same things constantly to keep things fresh. Whatever your goals Simon will help you achieve them as this guy really knows his stuff 😊
I have been training with Simon now for nearly 2 months to improve my running for a half marathon and improve my strength for Tough Mudder. I enjoy the fact that each session is different, especially when we go for a run outdoors to mix it up! I have Asthma which Simon is great with, he pushes me to get better but always sticks within my limits and if sees that i am struggling he always works round it. Each session i am improving; running slightly faster and lifting slightly heavier weights. I know that by training with Simon he will get me to where i need to be.
Myself and Granddaughter have been with Simon since July at Astley village bootcamp,Simon is so helpful in various aspects,and will guide you in the fitness and nutrition to help you achieve your goals.I have never done any exercise in my later years before! But I enjoy going to this friendly group who welcomed us both . The fitness is for all levels and you can push yourself each week as you gain confidence and fitness.Each week is different so you never get bored, I can tell myself that my fitness level has increased and I now try to challenge myself with the encouragement Simon gives.Give it a try you have nothing to lose!!
I started with Simon last month after deciding that signing up for another gym membership (that I only use for a couple of weeks the. stop going- I’ve done this 4 times!! 🙈) was not a cost effective or time efficient way of improving my health, and loosing weight as per my goal.
This time I really wanted to get it right and stick to it. A friend recommended PT, at first I didn’t really consider it for myself, thinking it would be expensive and something only celebrity’s do. However the more I though about it the more I felt that investing in my health was something I felt was important.
I did some investigation into local trainers in my area, I messaged some and asked about rates, availability and training however to be honest I was completely new to exercise and was pretty unsure what I was looking for.
I had had responses from lots of PTs I reached out to however I felt a little overwhelmed on who to go with- some were asking for money before I had met them; which I didn’t feel comfortable with. What if their training style wasn’t for me? What if I felt uncomfortable and didn’t want to go back, yet had paid up front for sessions?
With Simon there was none of this, in the first instance he invited me to meet him for a no obligation chat about what I was looking to achieve, and to discuss how he could help.
Long story short after meeting Simon I was happy that he could help me reach my fitness goals, and I found that he makes you feel relaxed and comfortable very quickly even if you are a total novice to gym equipment ;-)
I have been training for 6 weeks now, I have lost weight, have much more energy and feel great! I can’t recommend Simon enough, and for anyone still sitting on the fence I urge you to take the plunge and arrange to go and see him for a chat- it could change your life!

Just finished my second lot of sessions with Simon. I can't praise him enough. Each session was different and although some sessions were tough, with Simon's encouragement, I got through them and felt so much better afterwards. If you're looking for a PT who knows his stuff, Simon's your man!
Got great results. I lost 6lb and 6 inches doing the Ladies over 50s session. I feel much fitter and my running improved.
Got this personal trainer for my mrs on the run up I our wedding. She thinks it's fab! Great guy, motivating and glad I found him!
