This was my first time lifting weights and working with a PT so I was a bit nervous but Lucy put me at ease right away. I look forward to my sessions as they are always varied, good fun and I leave with a smile on my face. Plus the tailored workouts she puts together in the app mean I keep making progress between sessions. I’ve already achieved more than I ever imagined thanks to Lucy’s training and encouragement. If you’re thinking about training with Lucy, absolutely go for it. She’s a brilliant PT and I definitely recommend her!

I have been training with Lucy for about 6 months now and I can only say she’s changed my life.
I have been struggling for years to get into training. I tried multiple approaches, going to the gym, attending classes, but I saw almost no progress over the years or I would give up for months and then try to start again all over. I liked weight training, but I was always a bit skeptical to use weighs in my own because I was scared I would injure myself or not know how to use them properly, so I was never able to get into it before training with her.
Lucy has been able to bring enjoyment in training for me, I’m training twice a week with her and I feel stronger and fitter than ever before. She is great at pushing me in every session without me feeling like it’s too much.
When I first started, my wrists were so weak I couldn’t even hold myself into a plank and she’s been great at tailoring my exercises but also help me get rid of this issue.

WORLDS BEST PT!
My fiancé and I started with Lucy a year ago. We were not bothered about sport or fitness but felt we should start to get a bit back into shape since COVID made us a little more round that we wanted!! Now, our mindset is completely different. We watch what we eat which Lucy has been instrumental in helping us with, we are SO much stronger than a year ago, and we both genuinely care about the state of our bodies. Lucy has devised personalised PT at home workout plans for us, as well as helped us with injuries and illnesses. Because of Lucy, I am going to get a second opinion on my hip through a dr she recommended. I am also coming off my anti depressants because of how I am feeling about myself now and that is all down to Lucy. I genuinely wouldn’t be where I am today or the person I am today without Lucy. Thank you Lucy. You’ve literally changed my life.

Lucy has been amazing. She’s very patient and supportive while making sure that the workouts are challenging enough to get results. Her accountability through food & following the training plans set out has been invaluable and it’s great to see progress. The considerable amount of knowledge she has is clear and it’s good to understand the rationale behind each exercise.
I started as a complete beginner and her understanding of the results I want to achieve along with the support to get there has been excellent.
I’d definitely recommend for anyone, even if (like me) personal training is new to you.

Lucy is by far the best PT I have had. I started with Lucy 6months before my first wedding date to slim down for the wedding. She listened to exactly what I wanted and needed rather than putting me on a generic program like I had experienced in the past.
I have kept with Lucy through my wedding date changes and through the various lockdowns. Lucy provided me with programs to work from home, offered zoom training sessions to help keep me going, which was just what I needed. It has kept me sane through the lockdowns despite everything going on.
I will be keeping my time with Lucy despite having finally had my wedding day, and achieving my goals set.
Lucy has demonstrated her commitment as a PT by her facilities transformation. She has a range of new equipment for all abilities and goals, everything is kept neat and tidy and each sessions is well prepared for as not to waste time.
Lucy has helped me ensure I have correct form and pushes me every sessions. She has excellent communication skills as she demonstrates and explains every move/activity so it is clear prior to lifting any weights. I have grown in confidence mentality and about my body image and thoroughly look forward to my sessions with her. She is so positive, knowledgeable and funny and would whole heartedly recommend her.

I have been training with Lucy for about 7 years and cannot recommend her enough. Her encouragement and enthusiasm for helping people makes the sessions fun and enjoyable. Her attention to detail regarding form is amazing - she will not let you get away with bad technique and has all sorts of tips and tricks up her sleeve to improve technique, help you progress and reach your goals. She goes above and beyond what most PTs offer, providing plans for your own training, offering nutritional advice if you wish, and tailoring your training to your own needs. As well as ensuring you can nail the classics, Lucy always offers something new to try which keeps sessions exciting, and encourages her clients to exceed their own expectations and to believe in themselves - her positive "can do" attitude is infectious. She has helped me reach a number of personal goals through thoroughly enjoyable sessions - I wouldn't trust anyone else to train me!

Lucy is excellent at tailoring training sessions to exactly what you need, making them both specific and varied enough to improve performance and keep you motivated. For the first six months I was training for a competition, and Lucy not only designed sessions for the specific movements I needed, but also to build up the supporting muscles I wasn’t aware were being a bit lazy. Lately I have been training online, and through injury, and Lucy still manages to work around the obstacles and keep sessions interesting and challenging. It’s amazing what you can do with just a resistance band for example :)

I have been training with Lucy for about 3 years now and I would 100% recommend her to anyone no matter what their current fitness level might be.
My overall strength and fitness has improved and I am now so much more confidence with exercise and nutrition. Lucy is very supportive but also pushes you and I have found that I am able to do more than I ever realised. She is also great at making sure you have the correct form and breaks things down into easy steps.
During COVID I have been training online with Lucy and it has been working really well and I am still able to learn new things. She has also been helping me with my nutrition and sending me plans to do at home by myself to keep me motivated.

When lockdown hit, I was determined to use the extra time I suddenly had to work on my fitness and keep myself active. Then when I saw Lucy was offering PT and group HIIT classes via Zoom, there were no excuses!
I've loved training with Lucy every week since, no two weeks are the same, and what's REALLY impressive is how quickly she's adapted to training from a distance, using furniture and household items in place of gym equipment and really focusing on the huge range of things your body can do without pricey equipment.
Being remote hasnt stopped Lucy's close focus on safety and proper technique and she takes times to really make sure you're moving safely, I've even had a go at handstands under her watchful eye!
Lucy really does make sure her plans are closely tailored to your level of fitness, she pushes hard and keeps you working!
What I love about training with Lucy though is how dedicated she is to her clients, I always feel supported, even beyond our sessions and she's always ready with a smile, keeping me motivated and active.

Lucy is a fab personal trainer. I have been training with her for years now and the transformation I have achieved, both physically and mentally, has been fantastic.

Training with Lucy for nearly a year now, mostly resistance with a bit of cardio / HIIT thrown in. She's much more detail-focused than other instructors I've worked with, ensuring you use the correct technique to achieve the best result and avoid injuring yourself in the process. She's also very flexible to book with, which is great as a shift worker, and keeps the sessions varied to avoid monotony. She evolved as the Covid-19 lockdowns began to bite, and provided outdoor sessions and online classes to keep the training going. Would definitely recommend!
