I have been training with Jason for a couple of years now and I can highly recommend him. I first started training with him to gain more knowledge and to give me more confidence in and around the gym. Jason is very good at putting you at ease, I never feel like I'm being judged and he's really patient and encouraging. It's obvious that this is Jason's passion, his knowledge is vast. Now a couple of years later and I'm still really enjoying my sessions. Jason is always on hand whether it’s nutrition or training and always supportive. He has kept me on track and motivated throughout the training sessions. I am happy with my results and feel so much better physically and mentally. Would highly recommend to anyone who wants to get serious about their training.

Recently started training Jase, my partner has been having sessions with him for over a year and having briefly discussed my needs it was an easy choice to make.
Supremely knowledgeable and incredibly passionate, infectiously so!
After just a few sessions and helping with my nutrition I've lost weight, feel better and more engaged with my gym experience.
If you want to improve yourself mentally and physically I cannot recommend Jason enough.

Absolutely fantastic guy! (Don't tell him I said that!) 😆. Fountain of knowledge when it comes to fitness and also the correct techniques when it comes to training, lifestyle, nutrition, the body, the list goes on!. Being training with Jason roughly 8 weeks consisting of 2 sessions weekly. I have already lost weight and become a lot more physically fitter, happier in the way I look, feel and my mental health is positive. Genuine lovely guy and would highly recommend to anybody!

Jase is an incredible PT! He listens to what you want and he works the fitness plans around you and your needs. As someone with health problems, Jason has been incredible at adapting workouts to fit my needs. Jason has amazing knowledge about the body, working out and nutrition. I highly recommend him.

Jason has worked with my brother for some time now and seeing the results he has been getting made me want to start training with Jason as my PT. The guy really knows his stuff. He worked out my calories and helps me with nutrition. I always get a really great work out. He doesn't just stand there looking around like other PTs I've had in the past. He is always focused on what I am doing and checking the technique is correct to get the best possible workout. My body has changed so much since I have been training with him and my strength has really improved. He asked me what I wanted to achieve which is weight loss, body shaping, strength and stamina. He listened to me and I'm closer to that goal than ever before.

I approached Jase for PT sessions after spending many months feeling terrible, having no motivation and feel very low. I was a member of the gym but rarely went because I was worried it would be too difficult. Lockdown hadn't help and I had put on weight from rarely moving eating way more than I needed to with the thought that at some points it 'get fit' but not really knowing how to motivate myself for more than a few days.
Jase talked to me about what I needed and what he could offer without being pushy. Once I'd signed up he was patient and started exactly where I needed to. Over the first few weeks he helped me get into a routine with my food and workouts. He always makes sure form comes first to reduce the risk of pulls and strains, and always encourages me to do just enough outside of my comfort zone that I feel great once I have achieved something new.
I'm now about 20 weeks in working with Jase, have lost over a stone, increased my strength and feel great. For the first time in my life I am proud of myself, my fitness journey and how I look. And for the first time ever I have kept up my routine over winter! Most of all I love getting in the weights room (a place that terrified me before working with Jase), getting my favourite music on and doing my workout. I didn't realise just how important working with a PT is before i started working with Jase last September, and Jase's friendly approach and his focus on the whole person, not just their muscles, has been so important to getting to where I am. I'd definately recommend Jase to anyone, but especially people needing the confidence to make a start or take the next steps in their fitness, no matter where they are starting from.

At 55 and 60, my husband and I are amongst Jason's more mature clients. We are keen archers and primarily approached Jason with a view to building strength and stamina for our sport. Neither of us really knew anything about gym equipment or technique and at our age we didn't want to do any damage to ourselves! Weight loss has also been a consideration. With our particular goals in mind, Jase has been amazing. We have gained so much more than we anticipated. The balance of nutritional information (no fad diets - proper healthy eating) and regular gym sessions with him has proved to be a massive benefit to us. We would recommend Jason to anyone, whatever your goals or age may be.

Without a shadow of a doubt the best PT you could ask for! His enthusiasm for what he does is so evident but never makes you feel overwhelmed with jargon! He always ensures every client gets an individually tailored plan that really takes into consideration their own goals. Really cannot recommend him highly enough, he is fantastic!!

Have seen the results of Jason's programs and decided to give having a Personal Trainer a go.
Like many I've been going the gym on and off most of my adult life getting variable results and falling in and out of live with working out. Having a physical job I'm quite strong and have always moved quite heavy weights until now lol.
With a new focus on form and strick isolation of the the muscle I'm working, I'm now using a lot less weight, getting much better results and not having and issues with injuries.
I don't use the Base Body fitness as my gym it's a great gym just the wrong end of town for me to use as my base. But this is not a problem as Jason has options to train there with him or also his wonderful equipment person gym shed.
Give it what you got to lose a part from bad habits. Like he says TRAIN SMARTER NOT HARDER !

Shame there are only 5 stars to give! I have been training with Jason for over a year and since my wife also began training alongside me who Jason quickly accommodated and made a tailored plan to work for us both and train as a couple. My technique has come on loads, the first few months were spent actually spent by Jason un training me from what I thought I knew was correct to actually really targeting and focussing on the muscles to get more from each and every workout! Id highly recommend Jason if you are looking to get in shape or take your fitness plan to the next level!

I really enjoy my PT sessions with Jason, he's extremely encouraging and motivating and I've learnt a lot about technique and how to avoid injuries. Every training session is challenging but rewarding and always different and my fitness and strength have noticeably increased.
Not just a training session - He customises a training plan for every individual to work on through the week and is always contactable to answer any training or nutrition issues. He loves his job, wants you to succeed and genuinely cares about his clients.

I have been having pt training every Sunday with Jase for the last 6 weeks, I am regular to base body fitness gym but just wanted to improve my toning and weights make sure I was using the equipment correctly, Jase has definitely helped me do this and he is so calm and patient and pushes me to try harder because he knows I can do it, I can't reccomend him enough, also always there when you are not at the gym. I can't reccomend Jase enough, you won't be disappointed I am still on my journey to achieve my own goals and Jase doesn't give up on you and his programs are tailor made to your abilities. Can't wait for gyms to be open again and I can start my fitness journey again.

Jase is a top bloke and great pt, cares about his clients and gives the best advice, especially on “diet” and form for exercises, I say diet but he makes it so simple, with calorie deficit you’re not really on a diet you can still eat and drink things you like and lose fat. Few months in I’ve lost 18lbs with gyms bein closed. At nearly 41 I’m sure I’ll soon be in best shape of my life.💪😅👍🏻

I've being having Jason Stubbs for about 3yrs now and Ive got to say that he is so professional with each individual it's not just about training he's very knowledgeable about dietary requirements and also health issues he puts you at ease and from my own experience with him I've never felt insecure or uncomfortable during my lifetime I have to say that he is the best and is very approachable I'd definitely recommend him I've been to many gyms and had p.t trainers in the past and he is definitely doing a absolutely great job I've lost nearly 2stone with him and still working with him this is my own experience

Jason is a fabulous personal trainer, I would highly recommend him. He has a wealth of experience and knowledge, he is easy to talk to and knows exactly how to meet your particular needs. It’s not easy to explain to a complete stranger that you have a pelvic floor problem, but Jason was great, he understood why I needed to know how to train properly, and why I was hesitant about what equipment to use. I have asthma (which has been chronic at times) and I also have some bone thinning caused by too many steroids to treat the asthma! My Fitbit said I was in fat burning mode when I was sitting down, my heart rate was way too high. Lockdown had not helped my well-being, I had put a stone on, my stress levels and my sleep were not very good. Jason quickly had a plan for me, he helped me to tune into my body and helped me understand how much I could safely do and how to keep pushing that little bit further to get results. Jason has completely changed my perception of what I needed to do to improve my fitness. Resistance training and using weights under Jason’s guidance has helped me to achieve more than I ever thought I would be able to do. I now work out much smarter and the benefits definitely outweigh the effort. I am seeing my fitness and energy levels increasing along with my overall strength. My heart rate has dropped, my BP was 122/78, my peak flow was 500 at a recent check up. My weight is also slowly coming back down and I am confident my cholesterol level will drop too. I am sleeping better and my stress levels are back under control. I am one of Jason’s older clients at 66, I thought I was a bit old for a Personal Trainer. I was mistaken, Jason is brilliant, he motivates you and the sessions are great fun, so never feel you are too old or have too many problems to make a change. Jason has given me confidence and the knowledge to be able to age well, maintain flexibility, muscle strength and bone density. Thanks Jason.
