I have been trying for several years to gain my qualification going through various specialist services and I approached Nick at CADUK and explained my despair at not achieving the qualification after years of study and numerous study techniques. Finally he advised what course I should try and I told him the timescale I wish to achieve it in although at 1st he said I was pushing it. Within a day or so of signing up I had a phone interview with Daniel Castle who was to be my assessor and while chatting he asked several questions to see if the course I chose and timescale I chose was achievable. Daniel gave me a step by step guide of what I need and as I submitted my work advised if it was good or bad and what I needed to do to steer me in the correct way to achieve the result I wanted Daniel's advise and guidance was invaluable and I would recommend him to anyone looking to achieve this qualification. Many thanks to CADUK and Daniel Castle for all your help and the best for the future I may be back for level 7.

I recently undertook my lvl 7 NVQ in senior construction management. I found the process with CADUK extremely straightforward and the uploading of evidence process convenient. David my assessor was very personable and never had any issue with any of my (sometimes silly) questions, he made me feel at ease and when i needed a push to get it over the line he was on hand to review my units at all hours. It was nice to get to work with someone who is a fan of traditional methods of communication and was always on hand for a call. i cant recommend CADUK ( and David) enough.

Well, what can i say. From the very first moment I had my first call with CADUK I knew this was going to be journey, I just didn’t realise how much of a pleasant one it was. Everyone from the office staff, technical including the assessor was excellent to say the least. I was very lucky in having David Bergin as my assessor. I had approached various training providers regarding the NVQ Level 6 in Construction Contracting Operations Management and found that CADUK were best placed to provide the qualification. From first contact to the completion of my NVQ, CADUK were extremely helpful and the onboarding process was quick and efficient. Within a few days on completing the profile tool I was contacted by my assessor Daniel Castle. The initial conversation was very quick and within 24hours I was provided with the list of required evidences to support the level 6 NVQ. After the submission of my evidence pack, Daniel was very quick to contact me and setup the first session to run through the questions, which was completed over zoom call. During the questions, Daniel was able to breakdown any questions that were either unclear or not fully understood, so that I was able to provide the correct answers and ultimately achieve my level 6 NVQ. Having undertaken a “Level 7 NVQ Diploma in Construction Senior Management” with CADUK, I am happy to say that I can highly recommend the company to anybody wishing to undertake professional training in the construction sector. Any trepidation I had about the formal learning process was quickly assuaged when I saw the level of support, easy to follow templates and person to person advice that they provide. Knowing that I had their training system behind me enabled me to relax in to the study process, and to simply concentrate on gaining the required knowledge rather than how to format it etc. My assessor, David Bergin, checked in on me regularly to keep me motivated, but he was also always on hand for me to call him if I needed advice or clarification. His counsel was always clear and accurate, giving me a gentle nudge in the right direction when needed, or the confidence to push on when I was already on the right track. Having been in the construction industry for a total of 37 years I had never been confident enough to attempt a qualification despite having run several businesses and worked at a senior level with many large contractors in London. I had a need to significantly level up my professional qualifications to advance my career in Construction Senior Management. I was advised that a route to professional accreditation was to undertake a NVQ Level 7 in Construction Senior Management to become a MCIOB (Member of the Chartered Institute of Building). There are various training organisations offering the NVQ7 accreditation process, but a number of senior managers on the multi-billion pound infrastructure project that I work on all recommended CADUK. I was also recommended to request that my assessor and mentor was David Bergin, and that was the best advice of all. David is a leading construction professional, including being a Fellow of the CIOB, and I had the profound luck and privilege to have David as both my guide through the process and as my assessor. Don't be under any illusions, the process administered by CADUK is rigorous and requires commitment and dedication, but if you're willing to put the work in, the qualification is achievable. There were times when the process seemed insurmountable but David was always on hand to steer me back on course when I experienced difficulty or needed clarity. Completing the qualification has validated my professional skills and experience, but even more, it has instilled an immense sense of personal achievement. I highly recommend CADUK if you are considering a NVQ Level 7 and you could not wish for a better guide on your journey to Chartership than David Bergin.

Luckily, through my developed network and connections with CIOB, I was advised to use CADUK to complete my NVQ6. If you can choose, ask David to be your assessor because he is that highly experienced professional who is able to understand you, your approach to work, your expectations, and find the right way to communicate with you in a most efficient manner, so you both avoid struggle and stress and enjoy the process. David guided me and supported throughout, providing swift and clear feedbacks and responses. Since day 1, all details were fully explained, all queries were answered, I had the same day response to my questions and always received prompt unit assessment results, so my working pattern was not delayed or compromised. David is happy to give a call and chat through without pressure, so I was able to ask all I need and fully understand what is required. Moreover, I planned to apply for MCIOB after receiving the NVQ6 certificate, and I was very surprised to get a comprehensive advice on my next steps to become chartered. Literally, a referral to CIOB was issued by David on the day of my NVQ completion, stating my eligibility with an immediate reply from CIOB with the description of the whole application process (documents, links, fees, etc.).

I did find it hard to fit in initially with family life and full time work especially during the height of the COVID period, but as CADUK is all online, I was able to work through this remotely, whether I was at home, in the office or on site, I could progressively upload my progress. I did over complicate the first unit, but I had David Bergin as my assessor who I found to be a great help with his guidance and accessibility. It seemed as though David worked all hours as whenever I had a query, David would be on hand to help with plenty of support and encouragement. From the start of the process i found that the levels of communication were outstanding, especially finding the right assessor who would suit the hours/time of day that i could meet to discuss modules. Once it was suggested that Martyn Tuttey would be the best fit for my experience and schedule we had a call to ensure that he felt i was capable of fulfilling the evidence required in each Module. After this i was set-up on CADUKS evidence portal, which is a simple piece of software to use and especially useful being able to work offline around journeys home from work. Whilst working as a Construction Manager on a project in Saudi Arabia, I decided that it was time to back up my Construction Knowledge with a recognised Construction Managers qualification. I began searching the internet for companies able to provide me the support needed to gain my NVQ-7 in Senior Construction Management. I had the pleasure of undertaking a NVQ Level 6 In Senior Site Inspection with David Bergin At CadUK and after just 2 short months I had successfully passed the qualification and was on my way to register as a Specialist Clerk Of Works (M&E) with the ICWCI. The Bar is set very high through out the course but very clearly defined. When i had not completed a unit David was there phoning me and giving me a nudge of encouragement to get me back on track. Some of the questions in the units are tricky as they are worded similar and seem the same. Take care and timeout to understand the questions and it all comes together. Working nights in a very demanding and varied environment, deciding on the correct course was tricky, but Gary and Nick had nothing but time for me, and after many phone calls and discussions the course best suited to me was decided upon. When the course started a personal examiner was allocated to me, David Bergin, who turned out to be a diamond !! I completed my CSM NVQ Level 7 in December 2017 and found CAD UK to be extremely professional and helpful throughout the process, from start to finish. Gary and Nick both welcomed me and provided me with a really great introduction to the qualification. From here I was able to knuckle down and progress with the qualification at my own pace. I found the online portal used by CAD UK to be the perfect medium for completeing the NVQ. I was working in a remote location at the time, the portal enabled me to upload my evidence and write ups for review from the remote location, as I completed each part. It has been a flexible, professional and supportive process from the very beginning. I truly am grateful for their support and assistance in enabling me to achieve this qualification. David my assessor was really encouraging and always ready to show me what I needed to improve on, he knew exactly what I am capable of. If he felt that I could provide a more substantial comment or attach more applicable evidence he spoke up and enabled me to review my work in a positive light so that I could achieve a higher standard during my assessment. David did not delay in assessing my units, he reviewed them within a few days of my submitting them, so I was always up to date in what sections of my units met the standard expected and what I needed to improve on. Once my assessment was completed and internally verified the whole team acted in a timely manner to ensure there was no delay in claiming my award from the awarding body, so that I can apply for my new cscs card as quickly as possible! Big thanks to all the team at CADUK, the interactive induction at the start of the course by David Bergin was extremely helpful (anyone who does the course should do it if offered the chance) I got good feedback after each unit was completed, full support when needed, David my tutor recommended that once I got started on the course I should plough on and keep pushing myself all the way until I got over the finish line, I managed to do this and started to get through the units reasonably quickly, wish I'd done it years ago, would recommend the course to others, The team were there whenever I needed them for advice
