Terrific bootcamp with a great group of people. Highly recommend Jez Mancer. He is funny and friendly and makes working out fun, too! If I lived there I'd definitely be a member. Was only visiting Truro for the week, but I liked the Saturday morning bootcamp so much I came back for more on Tuesday! You can tell he's an excellent trainer because many in his group class have been coming for years! No equipment necessary -- Jez will bring it all. Just show up and be ready for an intense and inspiring workout with a fun group of fitness-minded people!

Jez is brilliant, he pushes me enough to make the session worthwhile, but not so much that I feel exhausted and hacked off.
At his boot camp sessions the age range is often from 20 to 70 year olds. All get plenty from drills as well as few giggles and laughs.

I have been training with Jez for a number of years with boot camp and 1-2-1 sessions.
I wanted to improve my running and reduce injuries. Jez developed a specific programme to help me achieve this. It also has had the benefit of improving my times.
The sessions are fun, varied and challenging.

I started PT sessions 18 months ago. At the time I was in so much pain with arthritis in my both knees and recent injury to my left knee..
Jez worked on my fitness, gently encouraged me and helped me in increase in stamina and strength. In the process I lost 10kg and stopped needing painkiller.

Fun and friendly bootcamp! Great mix of cardio and strength exercises with a nice bunch of people, Jez is a great teacher and offers advice and help to suit your level. I was quite apprehensive when joining as I hadn't done anything like this for over 20 years, there was nothing to worry about and I really enjoy and look forward to it!

I have been going to Boot Camp now for five years and we have still never done the same session twice. I don't know how Jez manages to conjure up something different every time but from pulling sledges, ropes or tyres across a field to sit-ups, step-ups and even the dreaded burpee, each session is a newly crafted 'treat'... I'm not going to lie, there are Saturday's where I roll out of bed with the taste of the last night's Mojitos sitting less than pleasantly in my mouth when the thought of exerting myself in any way is far from appealing. However, I am always pleased that a) I turned up and b) I didn't vomit, and feel pretty revived by the end of the session having been thoroughly put thorough my paces. Come rain or shine Jez is always cheerful and motivational and there is no doubt that I'm a lot fitter now than when I started. I even made it to the top of Machu Picchu without being airlifted off. I would encourage anyone to come and join in Bootcamp. Jez caters for all fitness levels and as well as getting healthier it is a chance to meet some great people, take part in challenges that you never thought you could and as it says on the tin, feel thoroughly Motiv8ed.
