I'm 51 years old, noticeably overweight and with absolutely no experience at the gym. I also have issues with my spine, knees and getting around, in general, can be a challenge. I tried various exercises and diets, there's plenty of those online, but exercises were a struggle, either too boring or too difficult to keep up with. Also, I was unsure if I'm doing the right exercises for the problems with my spine or just making it worse. On top of it all, it wasn't very motivating.
I was pondering for quite a while if a personal trainer in a gym is the way to go, but I bit the bullet and booked a trial session. It wasn't an easy decision and I was quite unsure about the whole thing. I didn't want a person shouting over my shoulder telling me how many more squats I have to do.
Turns out my worries were archaic, and Marcin was just the person that I needed.
Just like a child that takes its first steps, he was there holding my hand for the journey. I started training sessions that he designed around my capabilities. Trust me, they weren't easy but doable and I never felt unsafe about breaking or pulling something while doing them. After few sessions, I got comfortable with the exercises and started to look forward to them. The diet developed by him was and still is tasty and easy to prepare, and before I knew it I started to lose extra pounds. There's still a long way ahead of me before I reach my optimal weight, figure, but it feels like I can do it this time.
Marcin is really friendly and gains your trust very quickly, with a sense of humour. If you're uncertain or uncomfortable he is the person that you want to have your back. No question is too stupid to ask, and none of them will be ignored.
A personal trainer isn't free, but with this guy, I prefer to be at the gym, instead of the pub or getting an extra cake with my coffee.

What I love about working with Marcin is that he doesn’t try to change your entire eating and exercise habits all at once! He works with you to make small but meaningful changes to allow you to reach your goal and most importantly, to sustain it. I have never stepped foot in the gym since I started working with Marcin. But seriously, I would like to recommend Marcin to everyone who is looking for a personal trainer.
I gathered myself for a long time to introduce the changes I needed in my life and to return to regular exercises. I did not plan to use PT's help, but out of curiosity, I made an appointment with Marcin to see what he can offer me. His professionalism and knowledge as well as the manner of conducting the conversation made me agree to come to a trial session with Marcin. It was the best decision I have made in a very long time and I am only angry with myself for not having made it much earlier.
At the moment I have been under the care of Marcin for a month and a half and the effects are felt and visible with the naked eye. My problems with the spine gave way to this program prepared by Marcin resulted in the loss of 4 kg !!!! I would like to emphasize that in the past I had a very serious accident and problems with asthma. Marcin approached me very individually, his advice and motivation caused huge changes not only in my physicality but also in my psyche. I believed in myself and my strength anew and I am ready to follow my little son (he is just starting to take his first independent steps).

Could not recommend Marcin enough. Probably the best PT I have ever met. He is super friendly, always walks around with a smile on his face, just very approachable person in general. Very motivating! Has motivated me to pursue the career in PT industry as well and was very supportive about it. The guy helped me to pass my PT course and in general he is always happy to help. I would like to share my experience with you regards Marcin Frycia Trainning. Honestly we met two years ago and I was in a really bad condition as my lower back create a lot of issue during the last 7 yeas, so constant pain, lack of mobility and nocomfort was normal. I sow many physioterapist and consultants but sounds like noone was listening and not really puting an effort to make my sytuation better. Marcin made my life easier, he show me good exercises, we work together and he give me full attention and enthusiasm. He is very knowledgeable and I can highly recomend his service to you. Marcin it’s not a PT. He is not a guy who will write you some diet plan and follow set of exercises with you. He is a guy who will listen. Listen and apply what you are saying.
First time we meet he check how am I doing some of exercises (I thought....ok...that’s...weird...). And in first 20 seconds he spot that I shouldn’t pick any weights above my head as I could hurt myself more than achieve!
He set up plan of exercises for me plus not very complicated diet as I’m a mum of two and I don’t have time to cook different for myself. Marcin just give me some basic advices about little changes in my family diet to beneficial for my fat loose and muscle growth.
First training was hard. I must admit and I always classify myself as sporty...well😉 but what I really enjoy with Marcin it’s the motivation. He doesn’t stand next to you just counting. He is making sure that every repeat of exercise you are making correct. Not quantity but quality as Marcin is saying. I didn’t need to learn 20 different exercises but I must to learn 10 properly. He won’t give up on you even if you did! He will tell you honestly that from last session your progress is poor. He is the one who will text you with question “did you stretch” And stretching is important. He knows some amazing tricks for that too😉 he will let you have “cheat day” but he will balance your diet accordingly. He is not typical PT from the gym. Many ties I thought “why ppl pay money for it”
Well...try Marcin and you will get same surprise as me.
Oh. As a single mum I never know what my life will bring. It might be a cough and running nose or chicken pots🤷♀️ Marcin understand that and he was flexible with my trainings as much as he could.
If you are looking for a quality, not quantity try Marcin!

One of the best personal trainers I’ve met, has helped transform my life for the better in-terms of training and strength, in fact the best personal trainer ever. I am so happy with my training with Marcin! He has helped me so much, his training has improved my physical well-being but also my self esteem. He made me feel comfortable to workout in the gym which was very intimidating. When I first came to him I had immense back problems and joint problems due to my physical job I basically couldn’t move. Simply getting out of bed or changing sides during the night felt like a nightmare but since our sessions I feel much better more mobile.
