I can’t thank George enough for helping me get my confidence back and getting me into working out in the gym in a safe and fun way. I have learnt so much from them, both exercise and nutrition, and now feel ready to carry on practicing what I’ve learnt inside the gym and out now our PT sessions have come to an end. I really appreciate the candid chats about mental health and well-being whist working out. Life happens and George totally gets that, but the accountability and push was what I needed to be kind to my body again. I feel like a new person mentally and a stronger person physically. I absolutely cannot recommend George highly enough. I am the healthiest I think I’ve ever been, both mentally and physically, which is all down to their excellent coaching skills. When it comes to body positivity and reaching your goals, George just gets it. When I signed up with them, I remember thinking I would sign up for a few months to “get me back into it”, then continue on my own, but it’s been well over a year and I honestly would not have achieved the results I have (over 1 stone down already and feeling fab) without them. If you’re undecided whether or not you should message them, take this as your sign to do just that, you will not regret it!

I've been having PT sessions with George for 8 weeks now, and can't believe the change already! Before starting my sessions- my fitness levels were poor, and struggling with my motivation to get active. Now, I'm feeling fitter, stronger, happier and healthier, and can't wait for my sessions!

During my training with George she was very supportive of my goals. She helped me to understand working out is not just about physical fitness but mental well being also. Training with George is absolutely fantastic. I look forward to my sessions every week. She a wonderfully positive human and her positivity is infectious making work outs fun. I have learned loads in my sessions that I can now practice on my own as well. When I started I was a complete novice and now I can confidently walk into a gym and work out on my own. Something I would have felt way to scared to do before. She designs new sessions each week to build on what we have previously done but also switching things up so I keep improving and it stays fresh as well!

George is AMAZING! She really has helped me through a dark time in my life. I have suffered with eating disorder since 16 years old and am much older now, I have used food as a way to manage my emotions for years. She has helped me see food in a more healthy way and benefit from all the nutrients that they offer. I have built up my strength with her, I also collapsed a couple of years ago and my lungs have been scarred. Due to this I found it hard to work out, but she has helped me build up strength over the last few years and now I am stronger than ever. I could barely lift the bar when I first started bench and now I am doing 55KG at times. The amount of positive energy I get from George is great, I may be feeling really down or awful and she will boost me up and tell me it is good to keep going. Some trainers are very hardline, but George gives a kind and nurturing approach. I see her as not just a personal trainer, but as a life coach. She is very understanding of the LGBTQ community and is able to adapt her training to meet these needs. Sometimes we get a rare treat and get to see her little dog Barbs which gives me such joy. The difference with George and to other trainers, is you can tell she is passionate and she actually cares about people. I have had bad experiences with trainers before, and I feel held with George. She goes that extra mile and is really making a positive impact on people's lives. If it wasn't for her I wouldn't be where I am now, and I think she has actually saved my life. I think you're amazing Georgie and I can see you going on to be one of the super trainers in the world! Keep doing what you're doing, I don't think you realise how you touch people's lives. I've been working with George for 7 months now and I can honestly say that their approach has been transformation for me. I'd been injured for 7 years and only became able to training about a year ago. I started with another PT at that point who was all about quick weight loss. Whilst I wanted to lose weight, I wanted it to be sustainable and I wanted my PT sessions to be part of my broader life and health management, particularly as I have a number of mental and physical health problems which impact my daily life. From the very first free session it was clear to me that George very much worked within this philosophy and that I would be getting much more from them than the actual workout sessions.
From the start and always, as well as putting together great workouts which regularly rotate and through which I can see ongoing progress, they actively listen and respond to my physical, emotional and behavioural needs and as such are way more than a PT. Their approach is tailored to the individual and they take time to get to know their clients so that they can give us the best possible package of support.
Sessions are enjoyable and relaxed at the same time as providing a challenge. They are extremely motivating and supportive, always ensuring that I'm OK, and if I'm not OK they ask why and really listen to my responses and try to help/advise if appropriate... And it's not always appropriate, sometimes what you need is just for someone to listen, to hear you and to just say yeah that's rubbish, I'm sorry you're going through that and George does that.
George also shares things about their life and their journey in a really open and transparent way. I find this to be really helpful. It helps with a connection and with motivation too. To know that the person helping me achieve my goals has lived experience of various difficulties, many of which are shared, even if the actual experience is different, the emotions, behaviours etc are often the same, helps me to relate to them and what we're doing and to believe I can do it too.
I've come really far over the last 7 months with George. I've lost weight in a sustainable way, which has been helped not only by our sessions, but through their excellent and ongoing support with my nutrition and helping me to form and keep healthy eating habits, whilst not missing out on the things I enjoy. I've gained and continue to gain strength and fitness, to the point I'm now able to play hockey for the first time in 7.5 years. My life is more balanced and my management more holistic and my PT sessions and the support between the sessions is a massive part of this. I'm sleeping better and waking and getting up earlier than I have for at least a decade. Many people have commented recently on how well I look compared to a year, even 6 months ago and I do indeed feel much healthier myself, physically and emotionally.
If you're looking for a PT that will really listen to your needs and goals, who will tailor sessions to these, who will work with you and find the best ways to train and support YOU, rather than a one size fits all approach, then look no further than George. I worked with George over a 12 week period, mainly to try and get myself back into the groove of exercise and healthy eating. I know how to work out, i know how to eat, but after 2 pregnancies in 2 years I felt weak and didn't trust my body in exercise and was in an eating pattern that was feeding my anxiety and panic attacks. George took over complete control and that was exactly what I needed, accountability, my workouts set out on an app, reminders, phone calls, someone there when I was having a wobble. I came to George with alot of background things going on and she was just great, understanding, but didn't let me use those things as excuses not to get the job done. My body shape has changed, my anxiety is controlled and I have gone from not being conditioned enough to run, to running twice a week and beating my time consistently. George is very professional, friendly but most of all she gets it, life isn't straight forward, we still have to live and work but small changes, making yourself accountable, planning and having enjoyable workouts are a recipie for success 💪

George is really great 👌 I used to be fit but then I ate too much fried chicken and watched too much Netflix and now I’m a bit podgy but she was so cool with it all. She took into consideration my thoughts around not wanting to necessarily lose lots of weight, but just get strong again. She’s really patient with teaching me moves and explaining everything. It’s early days but I can feel a difference in my thighs for sure. Really queer friendly too. She’s also funny AF and has good banter.
