Recently I fractured my collarbone and was offered physio from the NHS for 15 minutes once a month. Over a number of months my ability to mobilise my arm and shoulder became even more restricted and painful. Mike developed a structured routine to mobilise, stabilise and strengthen my arm and shoulder muscles. This quickly resulted in me being able to move normally again, avoiding any over adaptive movement with my un- injured side. I am now working on exercises to improve my overall bone strength and balance. Mike’s intervention rapidly sped up my recovery time and my ability to get on with my home/ work life. I have been a personal training client of Mike for about 5 years now. Never have I had two sessions the same! I find him very attentive to my training needs (which change fairly regularly!) from strength training, fat loss, flexibility, fast foot work (for my sport) and any other whim I have!. He is extremely knowledgeable, interesting, easy to be with and tremendously motivational. I can not recommend him highly enough. If you are looking for a personal trainer, it does not matter what fitness level you are at, neither will it matter what type of exercise you are interested in. I started my fitness journey with Mike nearly 3 years ago now... the original goals was to regain fitness after 2 pregnancies, moving on to weight loss and general well-being.
Mike's persistence keeps me focused and committed to a weekly gym schedule. He’s helped develop a new attitude in me. Along with more confidence and drive to stay healthy, I make the right diet choices to support progress in the gym. I’ve discovered new confidence as I lost inches of fat over our first six months of training.
I also love the flexibility of the personal training sessions - I can really fit the sessions around my busy lifestyle of a full time working mum without having to stick to a gym opening hours...
Mike is very creative with his workouts ensuring that I do not become complacent with my fitness, abilities or type of workout and he always finds new challenges for every session. I actually look forward to each session!

I've had several different trainers over the years most of which focused getting results quickly at any cost. Mike has really focused on where my body is at with some old injuries and tailors the training to help rehabilitate them, whilst also strengthening me and making me fitter. As well as being a great PT, he's a lovely person too - which matters when you spend so much time with someone!
I’ve been training with Mike from Well Fit since July 2020 and I can’t recommend him enough. He is extremely professional, reliable and knowledgeable personal trainer. He creates a very friendly and motivational training environment. Having a tailor made programme designed around my goals has helped me to build on my physical strength and keep a healthy mental well-being during a very challenging year. The flexibility of having face to face training, virtual one to one sessions and group outdoor classes has allowed me to maintain an active routine which works well with my working schedule. The excellent facilities within the gym helped me develop my knowledge about different exercises which I have been able to replicate when training on my own.
Mike was recommended to me by a friend as a PT to help get me back into shape after my first child, that was 5 years ago and another child later and I’m still having two weekly sessions with Mike. To me our sessions mean that extra slice of pizza with zero guilt. From HIT to Pilates, you never know what each session will be and that’s exactly what I wanted from a personal trainer. Despite the fact I come away sweating and worn out Mike never makes it feel like a workout, he knows exactly how to get the best from me and push me to my limits without me even realising that’s what he’s doing. The thought of exercise 5 years ago filled me with dread however now my week wouldn’t be the same without our sessions, who knew getting fit could also be fun!
Have just finished a round of 10 PT sessions with Well.Fit. The measurements are in... and I couldn’t be more pleased! Right from the start, Mike invested the time understanding my personal goals and quickly got to grips with things that worked well for me, adapting where needed. Mike has got me over a fitness slump and given me the jump start I needed. He’s kept me motivated, challenged and supported throughout and I’ve seen great results because of it!
