Reviews of Agility
We took our toddler for the first time this morning. The soft play area was really good, but a little compact. Thankfully the area was enclosed so the little ones couldn't escape. The big slide was so good and our little one really enjoyed it. The food looked really nice, while we didn't have a meal we did have coffee and a very nice cake. We will definitely be back.
We came for a party and all the kids absolutely loved it. My son is not very agile and struggled on lots of it, but he still enjoyed himself and loved trying.
There is a soft play area for the younger ones too that looked fab.
It was clean and well looked after.
The staff were friendly.
I would definitely return again
It's great fun for most ages, my 13 year old asd son had a great time and the staff were great with him even when he became obsessive over certain obstacles. Robert in particular was calm and patient with him and gave him tips and tricks of how to complete it.
The only thing I would say is the toddler section is more for under 2s. My only just 3 year old was too big for a couple of bits and became bored after about 30 minutes as its quite small
Excellent facility, very clean and well maintained with lots of options for food and drinks. Reception staff very knowledgeable and enthusiastic, also staff looking after the children were excellent always watching and making sure safe and supported. Really recommend agility!
I definitely recommend trying this out, it depends on your ability/children age etc. I went with a baby and 3yr old, my friend took a baby and 4yr old. We did the toddler ninja session. It's only an hour 10-11 (we thought 3, as the mini area is 3hrs). The ninja area is designed for 5yr+ and it's a real challenge for a 4 &3yr old, size wise being able to reach. What's great is staff being around to help, with the babies we couldn't get involved. If our babies were newborn and sleeping in the car seat it would be fine, or without the babies etc we could get involved. However it was quiet and if busier they wouldn't be able to support their play enough. The younger area was a bit too young for the 3+, so we were a bit torn. I would definitely come back with my 3yr old when a bit bigger but 1 on 1. The shack menu is great and reasonably priced. Nice to get something a bit different.
Quiet for Sunday afternoon, clean and well staffed
The place to have a kids party, friendly helpful staff, safe padded play area and a place for parents to chill with a coffee.
As we were there to watch our granddaughter and her 16 friends celebrating her 7th Birthday. Absolutely fab staff nothing was a bother to them. The staff behind the tills and the staff helping the children who were on the Activities. Plus they were smiling and very courteous. Also the food for the party looked lovely. I hope my comments are passed on to the staff. Well done wish I was that young again 😀
We absolutely love this place! My 6 year old son attends the Ninja Gym sessions here once a week and the coaches have so much time for him and the other kids. He loves the fun sessions and I love that they keep him active. The cafe area is lovely and the food and drink offerings are great and reasonably priced. The mini gym area for little ones is also a great idea and keeps my 1 year old amused while her brother is doing his class. My son also loves attending the general sessions and it’s good they are supervised so I don’t have to go on the course myself if I’ve got my younger child with me.
My son also had his birthday party here and all the children loved it! Really fab place
Good place for the kids to blow off steam.
Great food and there's even a bar!
We visited Agility last night with a group of 65 girls and we were delighted with level of service we received. The staff were outstanding from the moment we walked in and throughout.
The girls all had a brilliant time and thoroughly enjoyed the evening.
I would highly recommend this venue! Thank you to all the staff.
Really good. My 17 month old twins love it and burn lots of energy. Service counter takes longer than expected (20 minutes for a coffee) but the actual play area is really good and clean.
The kids loved it. The equipment was good. We found certain members of staff rather rude and unhelpful. Especially the cafe area.
Good food, good drinks selection, comfy cafe while the kids can burn off some energy. Helpful staff and reasonably priced.
If you need the kids to run off some energy there is nowhere - NOWHERE - better in York and our 4 year old never stops asking when we can go again.
We were there with our young Grandchildren who loved the young children's area. They went on the big slide with Mummy & Daddy & loved it. We were able to have a drink & watch their activities.
The kids loved it, The food is very good, and the staff are brilliant.
Attended the family session on a Saturday morning.
It was nice a quiet which was great for our first time there.
We had a great time and the little one was able to do most of the course.
Staff are supper helpful and friendly.
There are plenty of places to sit from table's on the ground floor to sofas on the first floor.
Food and drinks are not over priced, which is a bonus.
It brought the ninja warrior out of us all!!!
I just wanted to say a huge thank you for our daughters party yesterday. We’d never been to Agility before but, having had a new born just over a month ago we were looking for a place to celebrate Our eldest’s 5th birthday in a way that took all the hassle away from us. Agility really delivered.
The whole centre has a lovely feel to it, most of the [very small number of] play centres I’ve been in feel a bit grim (hence I tend to avoid these places) but Agility feels clean and really well cared for and your coffees are delicious. Please pass on my biggest thanks to the two lads who looked after us during our visit, they were fantastic and a real asset to your staff team. From start to finish we felt well looked after and the children (and a good few of the parents!!) had the best time!
We’ll definitely be back. We loved it.
The play area is great staff really good I would give that 5 stars. But the cafe is very poor both times first time order tock over 1hour to come. The second time the menu said one price then they charged a higher price and said boss put up the price two weeks ago so that's the price. The staff aren't very interested. Like as if there waiting for shift to end.
My kids absolutely love this place. The staff are friendly and very helpful. My son goes every week to a class and has attended a birthday party here too. He comes home really happy every time. I can't recommend Agility, York enough.
Great facilities for older kids, not so good.for toddlers and the play area is a.little small passable cup of coffee
GREAT facility but some operational difficulties. Took a prebooked group who were given the wrong colour wrist bands and got sent back to parents having been told they couldn't 'sneak back on'. Socks didn't quite last the session. Food and drinks were nice and good value, but again, delays and confusion with orders.
Went to agility yesterday with my son and niece, what a fab time they had! Plenty to do for an 8 and 6 year old without the need for an adult to be in with them. We enjoyed the cafe, the coffee was lovely as were the scones. The app to order was a fab idea and really easy to use. The only criticism I have is that on the menu the milkshakes were listed at £3.95 and on the app they were £4.50. I couldn't deny the kids these though so paid it, however I did feel they were a bit expensive for what they were. Overall though a fab afternoon out and we will return!
What a fantastic place. The kids absolutely love it. Safe, clean and full on fun.
The food and coffee is good too.
Great to bring kids of any age, currently kept to a few groups of 6 or less, including an adult. Still great for birthdays 😁
We brought our 9 year old daughter here after it was recommended on the Aware autism FB group. Cannot fault it in any way; it's extremely clean with very friendly staff. The course was laid out well and organised so that all the children in the group could access it - the young lad who guided my daughter's group was very encouraging with her, which in turn made her want to try things she was afraid of. The food was spot on too - I had a lovely pulled pork sandwich, with skin-on fries and coleslaw. Unlike some places, it wasn't overpriced at all, we'll definitely be back!
Kids absolutely loved it. Great place to take the little ones and good price in total .
Fantastic place, kids loved it, first time we've been and definitely going back the staff were excellent, even gave my son some coaching to improve his Olympic ring swinging, really made a difference and he wants to go back tomorrow! Good coffee as well!! 😀
Fantastic team and facilities, my kids aged from 6yrs to 13yrs all had a great time. Staff aware of additional needs for one of my children and treated exceptionally. Hannah made our visit as she was so hands-on and helpful. Thank you Agility
Fantastic place. Staff were friendly and helpful, they were great with the kids. Toilets were clean. Lots of hand sanitiser stations and regular cleaning of tables.
Was suitable for a confident 6 year old.
Took grandsons as treat. There does seemto be a lot of people booked to go on. Kids were swapping from one lane to another but I must say my grandsons thought it was awesome so that is all that matters. As kids were getting tired the numbers obviously went down which enabled kids to get round easier. They definitely want to come here again
We frequently attend Agility, easy to book and excellent value. Instructors helpful and encouraging with the children. Nice and relaxing for parents and a good work out for the kids. Would highly recommend 👌
Went back for our first post pandemic experience. Was pleased they'd kept the numbers small and had great measures in place for social distancing. My son really enjoyed his few hours doing a thing he loved we'd not done for 15 months.
Grand children loved it. Just got very chaotic on the rope section as only one member of staff. Would be better with more staff having it in age groups as small children hold up the older/bigger ones
The food was good and it was a great day out for the kids. There was lots to do and with an hour and a half time slot you had plenty of time to do everything you want. The staff were friendly and helpful and agility was very clean. In all I think this is a great day out and would recommend.
Agility is brilliant, the kids (8yo girl, 6yo boy) absolutely love it. The coaches in the arena with the kids are very encouraging and take good care of them. They have a good seating area and snack menu, and it's great place to take the kids so you can sit and have an 90 mins to you, or get a bit of work done!
The staff are so amazing. Really friendly and so helpful and caring especially to the younger children. It's also a really brilliant assault course and the cafe is good too!
Ideal size for average venue with own kitchen and everything nice and clean and fresh looking. Just started a linedance class there again after lockdown and recon that full capacity would be about 20 taking into consideration individual spaces needed for dancing, dare say a lot more under normal circumstances. Only issue would be parking.
Absolute love this place! The special Christmas Day they put on today was awesome, it was very busy and the staff were positive, polite & engaging with the kids. My family had a great time as we always do.
What a fabulous place. We went there a couple of days ago with 2 kids age 7 and 10. They both went on two different courses and both enjoyed it a lot. The staff was very attentive and friendly helping my little one a lot as he struggled a bit. The older one (competitive gymnast) was flying through the obstacles enjoying the challenge. It was fully booked but wasn't crowded at all. We are coming again tomorrow and I have already booked some Sunday classes for the younger one.
Great area for small toddlers, almost three year old then realised she could get onto the bigger equipment, she loved it! The place is very clean and the staff were very attentive without being over the top. Reasonable price too.
My partner and I took my 14 year old brother with special needs here for a session today and it was brilliant! The staff were so great with my brother, making sure he was included and could have a try at everything- can't praise and thank them enough!
Great staff, food and value for month
Went for Halloween event, kids absolutely loved it, staff were fantastic. Bit pricey so wouldn't go often but recommend for special events or a treat
Very well run place which allows kids to have great fun whilst minimising the risk from COVID-19 with sensible safety measures in places. I will definitely tell everyone I know to visit. Much better than a regular indoor play centre where germs are all over
Great place to bring the kids. Well organised and maintained. The staff were all very helpful and friendly. Really made our sons birthday party...
Our 7 year old son enjoyed it
Great space, can be very noisy but service is good and the drinks are reasonably priced. From my kid's point of view the space is great and very exciting, lots of great features to climb and jump on. He does the parkour class and loves it. Thanks!!
I was part of a group of ten 30-ish year olds who came for a friends stag do, which is not what these guys usually cater for fro my understanding. Despite this, it was absolutely fantatstic. The Parkour insruction from Hector was brilliant and the Ninja Warrior course was a huge amount of fun and really quite difficult. Definitely recommend.
I was so impressed when we visited Agility before lockdown and even more so after lockdown last week! We've book again for this week! Great value for 90 mins, it felt safe not too full and the staff especially 1 male member of staff showing the kids how to safely jump and teaching them the correct ways to get across things - thank you!
My son has been going to parkour class here and he loves it, we chose to have his birthday party here and we were not disappointed. They really looked after the kids and it felt very safe and clean. Highly recommended
Great facilities, loads of coaches to help the kids, cafe & area for parents is excellent - Much higher quality than you typically experience with these places! 👍👍👍
We had a brilliant time and my 5 year old son loved it. The food was lovely and it is so nice to have healthy food choices. Highly recommend Agility Park...we will be back for more fun very soon.
Superb venue. Awesome staff, the only trainer name I got was Sam. Big thumbs up for healthy happy active kids.
Brilliant little Ninja-warrior-style course for kids & adults.....loads of fun, and quite challenging if you looking for a workout!
Staff are on the ball but not in your face, good to see kids run free.
No issue with parking etc, just register your #plate at the desk & registering online means you can basically walk in within 2min.
Will hopefully be back when everything opens up....:)
