Mike is very motivational, positive and encouraging. He creates a supportive group environment which keeps your motivation high and helps you maintain focus on your goal. The sessions themselves are brilliant and have improved my fitness and strength as well as helped me lose weight. The personal daily goals he sets for you, plus the 1:1 support lets you know that he really cares about helping you achieve your goals. The biggest thing for me was helping me break some very bad eating habits and helping me to eat healthier. If you are a runner, Mike can help you to improve your running time and technique. There’s no fads or quick fixes, just excellent support while you change whatever it is you want to change. Would highly recommend.

MPRS is the only fitness class that I’ve consistently kept at for over a year now.
Group moral is fantastic and the sessions really do improve fitness and keep you motivated towards your goals. Also the sessions are geared towards supporting running whether you are doing a Couch to 5k or training for a marathon you will definitely be totally supported by Mike , see improvement, and be less prone to injury in your runs.

I decided to try MPRS as every other attempt to try and get fit failed miserably. I found the gym hard to motivate myself for, plus it felt like every person for themselves in there. At MPRS, you train with other people who are not just friendly, but push you along and will you to do as well as you can. There's no trying to be the best, everyone is just there to meet their goals, be it to lose weight or get fitter. Mike helps each individual to reach their goals and is always on hand to offer advice as and when you need it. The sessions are tough but good fun. They are designed in such a way that you are working hard, but enjoying the sessions and the results are soon noticed. I have to say, this is the only place I have found that has kept my interest. A variety of different training exercises, friendly people, a knowledgable coach not to mention the social nights out. If you're wanting to lose weight/get fit in a nice environment, with no pressure where no-one cares what your body looks like, then sign up to MPRS. It really does work!

What can I say - Mike & team are very professional, dedicated and fun! Workouts are tough (which is what you want!) but there is a real sense of team spirit! My personal goals / plan are helping me achieve my personal goals in a structured and lasting way. Highly recommended!

I joined the Running Fit Programme with Mike last November and am so glad I did! I have really improved my fitness and Mike is really supportive to help you reach your goals and varies the sessions so you get a really good all round workout. He has taught me a lot about running techniques and as a result I am able to run further and more efficiently. At each session Mike pushes you that little bit further so you come away feeling motivated to do more! Mike is very knowledgeable and motivational. He ensures you have the right technique and keeps you working. The sessions are varied which keeps them interesting and makes you want to go back. I have definately seen an improvement in my fitness since starting. There is a free trial to allow the chance to try it out.
You need to try this, it's not like other fitness groups. There are laughs and motivation from the other members. High fives all round!

Mike is the most enthusiastic and knowledgeable trainer I have ever had the pleasure to train with. His training is always the right level - pushing you far enough to achieve your goals and he encourages you every step of the way, and he is very hands on, especially on the nutrition front which is something I have not yet experienced with any other trainer!!

Training with Mike is awesome. It’s the only exercise I’ve done in my 30s which has got serious results and which I can honestly say I really enjoy! The sessions are not easy by any means but you are training with others and Mike keeps you so motivated- you will do way more and achieve way more than you could on your own. And there’s heaps of support from other group members too so you really feel like you’re part of something.

Just recently signed up to Mike’s programme.I didn’t know what to expect initially as I’ve always either gone to the gym or just run by myself so becoming part of a dedicated group was a new concept to me. However I have found everything from the sessions, which push you hard but in a safe and encouraging way, to the support from other members outside of sessions a real differntiator in my outlook, motivation and results. In just over a month I have got back some fitness I had started to think might’ve gone for good! I didn’t know where to start when I made the decision to start training again but Mike takes you under his wing and manages to flex style depending on a particular persons stage of fitness journey; meaning the need for ‘beginners, intermediate etc’ gym classes are a thing of the last. Everyone works at their own pace / but more importantly together to get the results we want and to meet our own individual goals.

I've only recently joined MPRS and have started the runfit programme. I've really enjoyed the sessions so far. I have noticed an improvement in my running already after only a few weeks, (Got a 10k pb today :-)). The support from the rest of the team is brilliant and Mike is very supportive and encouraging.
