I have been working with Tom since June this year. In that time Tom has supported me to get fitter stronger and develop how I train. Tom took my spinal surgery into account and developed a plan suitable for my needs. I am working with Tom during this second lock down and again Tom has given me a great food plan and a body weight work out. I can not recommend Tom enough he treats all his clients as individuals and works with them to help them reach their goals. If you are looking for a PT in York who listens and is great to get on with Tom’s your man

Where do I start. Tom is more than a personal trainer. He has become a friend who makes training easy enjoyable and makes chicken and rice sound good. Joking apart he will get you the results you want if you are prepared to put the effort in. He has given me advice on training, nutrition a planned work out. Every 1-2-1 training session is different and gives you the tools to add and remove exercises from your plan to mix it up, and if you struggle he is just a message away. I can’t recommend Tom enough. Don’t be fooled by the “he makes training easy” comment earlier. It’s easy on the mind but hard where it matters.

So Tom has been a great pt for a while for me now. Tom has great work ethic when it comes to dealing with you on a personal level he can help with anything that is required and isn’t just your personal trainer he becomes your friend. He will always push myself to my absolute limits which works great for me. He also commits himself to 24/7 for every individual that he trains anything you need at anytime he it advice on training or how to cook a healthy meal when you are hungry. I could recommend him enough for anyone who wants to be trained by him

As a person who has no idea when it comes to fitness or healthy eating, Tom made this so easy! The plan is tailored to what you want to achieve and is simple to execute, nothing over complicated. Anyone could do this! I feel so much better in myself already and would definitely recommend this for people with low mood. As well as getting outside a lot more, I'm regularly exercising and eating awesome food. As a vegan, I was nervous about the food plan, but there were plenty of options and Tom was knowledgeable and happy to suit the plan to my diet. Couldn't recommend him enough!

I could not recommend Tom enough! I did one of his packages at the start of the year (& continued to train with Tom afterwards) & I can honestly say it has changed my life. Not only did I learn how to train efficiently in the gym I also gained a lot of knowledge in respect of calories, macros, the important of sleep and even learnt how to cook due to this! Tom was always available for support and any questions I had (which was a lot) he would help with. The training sessions are really tough and he pushes you to your limits but Tom is always friendly and encouraging! Highly recommended.

I worked with Tom up until the Covid pandemic. Before working with Tom I suffered a shoulder injury which stopped me going to the gym. When it got more better I signed up for his sessions and he understood my issue with this and helped strengthen my injured shoulder. I got in more better shape and massively stronger hitting a PB most weeks. A man like Tom is professional and very knowledgeable when it comes to lifting and diets.

I started with Tom and his lockdown package at the end of Jan 2021 and he has been nothing short of incredible.
Tailored meal plans, personalised exercises, constant and enthusiastic communication - I can't recommend Tom and his work enough.
He's transformed my life in the best way possible; physically and mentally stronger, fitter, healthier. I'm so proud of what we've achieved and continue to achieve.
Aside from Tom's knowledge and expert advice - he is a genuinely top guy and I'd like to think forever friend.

Tom was a brilliant Mentor and Personal trainer. I started with him weighing 16st 1lb. 8 weeks with Tom made my confidence sky rocket, he gave a great routine and a great Diet plan, would 100% recommend Toms Workouts. I couldn’t recommend Tom more highly! From the word go he was supportive and helpful making sure I knew exactly what was expected of me during the programme and exactly how it would work. Support was there daily and always made each session different and enjoyable. The results were amazing and if anyone was looking to kick start there fitness programme I would always go to Tom and recommend every service he offers!

Tom was so helpful when I first spoke to him about plans, he's not pushy, explains everything you need to know, gives you the options and recommends the plan he thinks will work for you. He asked what foods I like and didn't like so I wouldn't be stuck hating the eating plan. He's there for support whenever you need it. The pt sessions are hard but he pushes and encourages you to work through it and you do go home feeling amazing! I'm still on the eating plan, and have lost a total of 6kg so far (without the training plan for most of it)
If you need that extra push, and someone who knows what he's doing and will actually help you, then I'd definitely say to contact Tom ASAP!

Tom changed my life, I reached out for help because I'd given up on my self.
I went knowing I needed to change I still took excuses to why I couldn't do something to which Tom worked around everything patiently to the point myself and Tom realised I didn't have the mobility issues that had plagued me years prior that I'd heavily used as an excuse, so we pushed on making me feel incredible.

Tom is a great friend before anything else. He looks after you physically and mentally. Attached are 2 photos of me in October of 2020. I was miserable and overweight and didn’t see myself getting anywhere. My aim with Tom was to transfer my body fat into muscle. Tom gave me a perfect meal plan which I struggled with at first. But thanks to Toms genuine thoughts and ability to help he pushed me to achieve the meals a lot better and helped with anything I struggled with. In the gym side Tom would push me and if he felt I was doing well he would let me know and then when I was struggling he would take the time to remind me of technique and help get it better. On the right is me at the start of January after doing his 12 week plan. I lost a total of 1 stone. But I gained so much muscle mass. I feel more confident and I love how big my arms/shoulders/chest are and I all it all to Tom. Although I’m not able to continue PT session ive took the knowledge that Tom has given me and I still use the skills and techniques in my own workouts. I feel alot more body confident and physically and mentally fitter. I couldn’t recommend a better person to get your life back on track.
