WE had a rat problem with clear evidence of the rodents having entered the kitchen. Sweet potatoes had been eaten and a resident had seen a rat on one occasion. This all happened at the very busy and stressful time of Christmas. We booked online and were able to get a visit within a few days. The 'three visit' process was clearly explained to us as were the costs involved. The technician was courteous and professional and carried out a complete check of the house including the loft. We live in a semi-detached property. Entry points such as small holes behiund cupboards and in the bathroom were sealed with a quickly drying foam substance and rat traps and poison were laid. Two drains were opened and poison traps added. A second visit was planned and carried out with further trasps being laid. We were advised to contact Thames Water as there was a blockage in the drains which was though to be linked to the rat problem. Thames Water visited and unblocked the drain.We are now waiting for the final, third visit from JG Pest Control and it looks as if the problem has been solved. We are most grateful to them for the most efficient manner in which the problem has been dealt.

On the morning of 29/04 I noticed a lot of what I thought were wasps around the back of my house, entering and exiting holes in the brick wall. I contacted JG Pest Control via phone who were quick to pick up and listen to my enquiry. I spoke with Bradley who displayed as professional throughout. I was surprised when I was told an employee could come out that same day! I received a booking confirmation at 11:23am and at 12:08pm I revived a further email notification informing me that a technician was on the way, who then arrived at just before 12:50pm. The technician was helpful and told me they were actually bees not wasps and explained their presence. They knew exactly what to do and completed the job within around 30-40mins. I was advised that if there was any issues after 7 days, a technician would come out free of charge (included within the initial price) to rectify - I haven’t had any trouble with them since and didn’t require an additional call-out. I was kept updated throughout the day via email from JG Pest Control which was convenient with my working schedule. Job Visit Reference 347908 Mostly very happy with the service, in particular the first visit (of two that actually happened). Helpful on first contact and first appointment made quickly. Was contacted when operative on his way. He was informative and very helpful, despite the visit being at the end of the day. I am now 80 and fully competent, but was feeling overwhelmed by the mouse invasion which I hadn't been able to control. Second visit not quite so smooth but no real problems. Operative suggested I get a third visit and this was booked but didn't happen due to staff problems, but by the time I was told this, I had stayed in all day from 0800 until late in the afternoon. I decided to leave it and see if any return of mice and have now paid for somebody locally to block any possible entry holes

We had a very professional service from JG Pest Control after an infestation of fleas from our kitten. We had been fighting for 2 weeks to get rid of them so eventually decided to book out of pure desperation. They were very responsive and were able to come in the next day. Having contacted this company, they sent out an advisor to inspect the issue ( pigeons nesting under our solar panels), he left with the information he needed, and informed us of what would happen. Two men turned up on the day advised, with ladders and a cherry picker, and promptly got to work. The job was completed by dinner time, having removed the nests, and pigeons dispersed, a wire skirt placed around the solar panels, the guttering cleared out, all mess was cleaned up as they went along. Panic call to JG (who were at the top of all of my searches) as we were getting a new sofa and didn't want to put it up against them all. Effective treatment for moths after the free follow up visit. It was easy to book the date, but I had to wait around for many hours on the actual day because they could not confirm a specific time with me. That was problematic, considering I didn't want to have to wait around all day in the flat with a pest problem waiting for an update on ETA. I also think more information could be given up front, for instance, when the exterminator turned up I was told they could not spray hardwood floors. We had 3 visits. 1st Visit they left 3 boxes in the garden with poison in that doesn't harm pets. 2nd Visit checked them, and as all the poison had gone there were still rats. 3rd visit there was poison left, lots of dead slugs, and no evidence of rats. I needed a dead rat removed from inside the extension roof at the back of my house. The smell was really bad and getting worse. JG sent someone the same day (within 3 hours of my phone call). They did everything possible to locate the remains but the rat was down a steep and very narrow section under the eaves so they let off a smoke bomb to help with the smell and left a deodoriser in situ. They spent a lot of time searching for the place where the rat had likely got in, and gave lots of advice on what to look out for, and what to do/not to do, to help with future problems. I reached out to JG pest control as we found a significant amount of droppings in our loft which we thought might be squirrel After a chat on the phone i was told a technician would come over to inspect and then lay traps to capture the cause A technician was sent out and he put out some poison only. I told him that i was expecting traps but he dismissed me so i wasn't very happy about it. I emailed JG stating i was unhappy and was told that this was normal and they don't always lay traps. 2 weeks later i asked for a follow up as i hadn't heard any activity. Another technician came over and was surprised to see only squirrel poison with no traps. On further inspection I found a fairly large opening in the wall next to an electrical box which had clearly not been seen or filled on any of the 3 visits over 9 weeks which the technician made. This alone is disappointing but when told by customer services that the guarantee for the job is 3 months from the date of the FIRST visit and therefore I would have to pay the full costs of a new job, I am extremely disappointed with this service. I didn’t mind paying £200 in the first instance to be reassured the problem would be eliminate but now I am extremely dissatisfied and would not recommend them. Less thanJG Pest control were great to work with. They were one of the only companies I could find which were open and answering my calls at the point at which I needed them (8pm). They arranged an appointment for me for the very next day and were thorough in their work. On the subsequent visits (They promise to eliminate the problem and carry out repeat visits when necessary to ensure this) they went above and beyond to reassure me, explain what needed doing and answer my questions. They even gained access to my neighbours property (with permission) to ensure a thorough check of entry points. For someone who is extremely scared or mice/rats, I completely trusted that the guys from JG were open and honest about the problem and felt like they did a really thorough job to ensure the issue was eliminated. I’d definitely use them again... but hopefully I don’t need to!

These guys were great! They were able to come out the same day (on a Sunday too). The operative was really helpful and friendly and set some bait trays which seems to have done the trick and quickly dispatched our little buddy. Me Mrs was a bit gutted we had to have our loft guest dealt with but the operative was really helpful and reassured her this was the best way of getting rid of it before it damaged any more of our stuff up there. The operative also offered to come back for a further 2 visits included in the price but he seems to have done the job in one visit so we didn't need to ask him back. We were worried it was squirrels at first as we get lots of them around here but he used a bait that would work on both squirrels and rodents and we haven't heard anything up there since. He didn't leave any mess and was done really quickly. He said he thought whatever it was was coming through from next door (me neighbour must be leaving absolute cheese boards all round his gaff or something), anyway it's all sorted now and we were really happy with the service. In a panic state I googled pest control which led me to JG Pest Control. I called them at 7am and on the phone they explained the various packages that they could offer me. They were able to sort out a visit from their pest control team on the day. JG Pest control kept me posted about the arrival of their staff member Paul. When Paul arrived at my property he was very professional, he inspected the mice droppings and gave me an insightful breakdown on what caused the mice to enter my property and steps that I could take to prevent more mice from entering my property. Paul kindly sealed up the holes in the property, put steel wire in the gaps in my carpet, and laid out mice poison which would kill any remaining mice. It has now been 2 months since Paul visited my property and I am happy to say that there has not been any mice droppings/sightings in my property. I would 100% recommend JG Pest Control, as they are fast, efficient and professional.

I engaged JG Pest Control on two occasions which resulted in 5 visits overall. On every occasion the technician was friendly, punctual and seemed very knowledgable. They respected social distancing measures without being asked. They answered a lot of questions from both me and my children! The first problem was both a major wasp's nest in an awkward roof position (that the council pest control wouldn't go to) and rats. I’m not sure how my kitchen got infested by fruit flies, but for about three months I tried all the homemade remedies and some of the shop bought treatments. Sadly, none of them worked so I asked JG to come and sort the problem. They came and treated the flat.
