Adept Pest Consultancy recently helped me out of a really tricky situation, involving pest issues caused by a neighbour. Not only were they professional, knowledgeable and very honest, they were also incredibly understanding and offered reassurance whenever I needed it. My issue went on over several months, due to environmental health having to be involved, and Dave was incredibly helpful and supportive during this time. Used another pest company prior to Adept who did not solve the issue. Would never use another pest company - will tell everyone to use Adept! Thanks so much!

A great service offered by Dave at Adept. He visited my property on the day I called, and was able to quickly identify that I had an issue with squirrels in my loft space. He dealt with my problem professionally and always responded very quickly when a return visit was required. This service was great value for money and I would highly recommend this company. We were blown away with the service from Dave when he took care of our flea problem. To say he was professional is true....but "professional" doesn't cover the depth of care that he combined with his expertise to deal with what had become a total head-stress. To backtrack: we acquired two kitties & the kitties acquired two fleas. Unfortunately those two fleas fell in love, had babies....& the rest was inevitable. Stupidly we didn't contact the pros at the start but instead spent a total of £80 on over-the-counter products, NONE of which, despite glowing Amazon reviews, worked. By the time we phoned around for a pro, we had "treated" the cats with Frontline & sprayed the house with 4 canisters of Indorex. Yet the cats were still scratching, & the tell-tale signs of infestation seemed worse than ever, so we found Adept via Google. From the first phone call it was clear how much Dave cares about the customer & the eradication of their problem, but what really surprised me was how much time he was willing to give before it was even agreed that we were customers. He spent 45 minutes in the first call explaining all the routes I could go down to solve the problem based on my own financial situation, & the possible outcomes of each proposal. Although he was clear that a professional 2-part treatment was my best hope of ridding myself of the problem, Dave was also willing to suggest ways in which I could try to be flea-free if I wasn't able to afford that, which really surprised me because it is such a generous approach from someone running a business! But the depth of his knowledge convinced me that I would be insane to go with anything other than pro-treatment, especially as his fee was extremely reasonable & far lower than I had expected. Thankfully Dave told me to send back the new batch of unused products I had ordered (another £60, which was thankfully refunded…& note that the total of all the useless products would have been in excess of his fee!) He went into detail about the science behind treatment & why the over-the-counter stuff hadn't worked (put simply, the concentrations of chemical required for successful treatment cannot legally be sold at consumer level because of the safeguarding needed to use them). He even said that if I wasn't sure whether my infestation was bad enough in reality (as I was so emotional that I didn't know whether the stuff I had done already really was or wasn't working) that he would come out to do an initial survey, the cost of which would then be deducted from his fee if we did hire him for the full treatment. He also made sure that I went first to get vet-prescribed cat treatment before he came to treat, because to treat the house without ensuring the cats were treated successfully would be futile. All the above speaks to his expertise, but what was also so note-worthy was his kindness & compassion in making me feel that he understood why I was so upset & emotional with it all. When he then came to complete the treatment, which takes place in 2 stages due to the life-cycle of a flea, he was every bit as excellent as he had been on the phone. The treatment was carried out efficiently, thoroughly, & cleanly, with maximum consideration given to our time-commitments & need to be in the house, as we both work from home. He also again gave generously of his time to answer a million questions on both visits, & on a further panicked phone call. The final result? Well, Dave eradicated every one of those fleas on his first visit, & on his second visit he obliterated any hope they might have had of popping up at a later date due to newly hatched eggs. To say we were relieved & delighted is an understatement!! Thank you so much Dave - you are total legend: loved by us & the cats.... & absolutely hated by flea populations all over Glasgow :-D!!!

Would recommend for any pest issues you may have. Extremely knowledgeable about causes/access and treatments for all kinds of pests. Quickly got rid of the rats in our attic, after I first thought the noise was a squirrel. Would definitely use again although I hope I don't have to 👍

Contacted Adept today about a wasp issue we were having. Spoke to David who was driving at the time but explained that there was a chance that what we thought were wasps was actually masonry bees. He asked if I could send him some images of the insect and he would identify it for us. I sent some images over to David and he confirmed that in fact it wasn't wasps and was masonry bees and they were harmless therefore could be left alone. I'm super impressed with the fact that David was happy to look into the issue without charging for a call out and was more than informative about the insect. Adept are a compant that appear to genuinely care about good customer service and I have been extreamly impressed with them. I wouldn't hestitate to recommend them to anyone!

I was looking for a pest control company to deal with a wasp nest in an innaccesible loft space. I am over the moon to have found such a great pest control company local to me, and I feel very lucky to have found Adept. David was great and managed to explain the procedure and arrange a time to come out as soon as I called him, he came down the next day to begin work and even took time to explain the procedure in depth. The quote I was given was very reasonable and I am happy with the care taken and quality of the work carried out. All in all a great experience for a scary problem!

We had quite a sizeable wasp nest at our house which was professionally and efficiently dealt with, no more wasps. Advice was given to us and we felt able to call back in case there were any problems, which there weren't. Overall, a brilliant service that I would definitely use again.

I was very concerned when I realised I had a problem with grey squirrels inhabiting my loft area as they are known to cause a great deal of damage. I called Adept and John and David were out within the hour. They were extremely helpful and knowledgeable. It took around 4 weeks to fully eliminate the problem with either John or David visiting once per week. They were then able to proof the entry points to my roof by blocking the gaps and entrances holes with tightly wedged mesh. Their customer service was outstanding and I would highly recommend them.

When you have a pest problem you need it resolved quickly and permanently. I had a major issue (like several others) with wasps and I turned to Adept to help - a decision I am very glad I made. David, the senior technician who came out, was almost a case study in how to getting done and done professionally. As someone with over a decade training subjects like customer service I feel competent to call ut out when I see examples of either poor or excellent service and Davjd was very definitely in the latter category. He was polite, friendly and spoke in ain English - highlighting what the issue was and how he could fix it for me, giving me options on the approach I wanted to take. He was very respectful of my property and took every possible precaution in regard to COVID (mask, sanitiser and gloves). I felt safe having him on my property. Most importantly he got the issue resolved quickly and efficiently. David was absolutely 1st rate and I would recommend Adept to anyone.

I can't recommend Adept enough. I asked the boys to get rid of the piegions under my solar panels. They researched to find the best system, used all the appropriate safety equipment, was installed in a day and they came back the next day to remove the piegion poop from my roof and guttering and the moss that was growing due to it as that causes other problems. They genuinely care about keeping pests away from your property and business. The small gaps where other birds could get into my roof were also closed up. I am delighted to get sleep as the piegions are now away from my roof. Very reasonable as well. Thanks so much
