Roger and Elliott came to sort out a nasty little problem which reared its mousey head just a few days before Christmas. I am ever grateful as I absolutely hate mice and couldn't relax with it in the house, but Roger and Elliott visited the day after I called and, with a few repeat visits, the problem was properly eliminated. Roger and Elliott were polite, responsive, reliable (and full of entertaining rodent war stories.) It is a big relief to me that should a new critter rock up, I can call on Roger to send it on its way! Highly recommended.

I had a problem with small rice beetles which I didn’t know what they were at the time. I had called 2 very big organisations who had conflicting advice and diagnosis but both wanted to charge me an extortionate amount to spray my home! Roger asked me to send a photo and was able to clear up the diagnosis pretty quickly. He advised what to buy and also insisted it would work and that he didn’t want to charge me for something I could easily fix myself. I’m glad to say that the problem cleared up in less than a day! It was really interesting as I’d also called another small independent business who had given me the same advice and also refused to take money for a simple problem. I am such an advocate for small businesses as they are often so much more informative than big organisations. Roger proved that he was an expert in his field, honest, genuine and fair. I cannot rate small local businesses enough. It really does help to know there are amazing people out there that are willing to provide help and advice. I would definitely recommend

Roger came to my flat to fix a job that another company left incomplete. He laid the poison where required and explain my tenants how a mouse job works. He then decide not to charge me as I did pay lot of money just a week before to this other company. His honesty and professionalism is not common. I would definitely recommend Critter Solution. We had 1 mouse and after trying humane traps for a few days, we called in these folks as they were local and had great reviews. We had the son, Elliott, do 3 visits over 3 weeks and were really pleased with how quickly he came out (called in the afternoon, was there at 9am the next day). We do think the mouse might have scarpered the same day, but we were just happy to have peace of mind that someone who knew what they were doing was handling it and checking up on the situation. Social distancing was stuck to, and he wore a face covering at all times. No neck mask to be seen :)

Having moved into a property with a severe mice problem, we were in desperate need of professional help. To arrange the treatments Roger was really flexible on days and times to fit around work and was always punctual. Having found what I thought was a rat dropping in our home, I called Roger up. He was so kind on the phone and assured me it probably wasn’t a rat dropping as it would be more obvious if there was a rat in the house. Even though he suspected we didn’t have a pest problem, he still said he would come and check out the ‘dropping’ for free the next morning. It was in fact a false alarm but he was kind and helpful and I wouldn’t hesitate to hire him if we ever needed to (but I hope we don’t!). I called Roger at Critter Solutions after we had mice at our house - we had previously paid our local council to sort it out to no avail. Roger came over very quickly and did a thorough job - and followed this up with a few more visits over the following weeks. He managed to get rid of our mice on the first visit and it was very re-assuring to know he would come back to check again for free. He also offered to come back again if the mice came back, which they unfortunately did nearly a year later. True to his word and free of charge, he came over promptly (and I contacted him on a Sunday over the Christmas break!) Once again, he's done a great job and the mice have gone. Roger was very pleasant and friendly to deal with, and having worked at another well known pest control for many years, really knew his stuff. I had confidence in him, he was knowledgeable and trustworthy (mice scare me!) and I would strongly recommend using his company.

Roger has been a huge help following discovery of rats under our kitchen floor. We are rebuilding our kitchen and I called Roger as soon as the builders let me know what they had found. Roger is great. Delivers professional service without fuss. Top 5 reasons to use him: 1) Delivers on his promise. Our mouse problem was (perhaps) more difficult than expected, and required him to return for a 3rd and even 4th visit, but in the end he solved the problem without fuss. 2) Respected our time. With all of these visits, Roger was always either very prompt or he would call ahead to let us know that he was running late. It's a small thing, but it really mattered. 3) Roger responded to our problem with the urgency we so desired. We live (relatively) close to his office and were pleasantly surprised when, after we called him on a Saturday evening, we had an appointment for the following morning. 4) Offered great advice on how to prevent the critters from returning. Now this might seem small, but it was and is of great importance. While Roger might like to have repeat customers, I don't want repeat critters. He offered some sound advice on how to limit the likelihood of their return. 5) He's a really nice guy.

I was extremely alarmed when I saw the mouse which was originally in the kitchen in my room. We've been trying to catch this mouse for the past 2 months, so I thought it's time to get some professional help. I called Roger at 1am which was very hilarious, we joked about it when he returned my call, but he got 2 of his guys out the same day. They applied poison which to my surprise worked, but since it didn't kill the mouse instantly, I asked them to come back a few days later since I was sleeping in the living room 😂. They came back and set traps, and it caught the little bugger. Critter Solutions are extremely professional and deliver excellent customer service.
