Marcus is simply ‘the bee man’ and has just removed a nest from our chimney using a cherry picker (see photo). It was fascinating to see the steps involved and the job was carried out very carefully. We fully recommend Marcus … he’s also a very nice chap. Thank you.

We found we had bees nesting in our garden room roofspace so dropped an email to Lakeside and Marcus responded very quickly. After sending some pictures of the bees Marcus reassured me that they were only seasonal bumblebees, they wouldn't cause any structural problems and the most appropriate solution was to leave them until they left the nest naturally in August. Will need to remember to seal up the entrance before next season though! It was an excellent response from Lakeside, our minds set to rest within the day, at no expense. Many thanks to Marcus for his valuable advice.

We have had honey bees in the roof soffit of our house for some years. They've never been a problem and we were happy to have them as tenants! However, due to an extension, we needed to have them relocated. We contacted Ukbr and they put us in touch with Marcus at Lakeside Bee Services. Marcus came out to do the survey. We found him to be extremely personable and knowledgeable. We had no doubt that he was the man for the job. Other outside agencies attempted to complicate the process but throughout Marcus communicated well and was positive in his suggestions to move the project forward. On bee removal day, Marcus and his colleague spent the whole day here not finishing until after 9pm in an effort to capture as much of the colony as possible. Such dedication is to be applauded and we are so grateful Marcus was on hand to solve the issue for us and that the honey bees are now safely installed in a new home. Our fingers are crossed that they get through winter but at least they have the best chance. Totally professional with great attention to detail. We'd highly recommend.

We had great service this week from Marcus dealing with a swarm of honey bees that arrived (uninvited) and nested in the soffits at my Aunt's house. Very prompt service, he came the same day that we phoned, and set up some boxes for the bees to move into...which they then did! Extremely pleasant and professional, and took time to explain everything and offer reassurance, and also very good value. We would definately recommend this business. (We were also pleased that the bees aren't exterminated, they're just re-homed.) 🐝🐝🐝 Thank you very much Marcus!

I called Marcus about some bees that had just arrived in our chimney that we wanted to get rid of without harming them. Despite already having a busy day he told me to get some almond oil and Vics vaporub, then called me back later to tell me what to do with them - and it worked, they left the chimney before settling.
