Eftal was everything we could have asked for and more. He stood in last minute and was so reassuring and helpful when we were panicking a few days before our wedding. Everything happens for a reason and we are so glad that he photographed our wedding day. He was so friendly and kind, and was really good at getting all of the family shots and shots of just the two of us too. He was able to direct us in a way that made us feel really comfortable. From way before I was engaged, I knew from photos I’d seen of friends weddings that I had to have Ladybirds photograph my wedding. Photos are your memories forever, you display them in your home and show them to your family and friends for years to come. Therefore it was essential that we booked Ladybirds, in fact we had to rearrange and we were limited to dates due to so many postponements and prior bookings Eftal had, I wasn’t really set on an autumn wedding but it meant I could have Ladybirds as our photographer, so autumn it was. From booking, Eftal was efficient, professional and kept in contact. We discussed photos we wanted, requested a specific location to go to on the day and absolutely nothing was ever a problem. Then the day, from the second Eftal walked in he did not stop. He is one of the most friendly and hardworking guys you could meet. Ensuring we got all the photos we wanted and more, whilst putting us at ease and genuinely having a great laugh. He worked tirelessly all day capturing the most beautiful photos, some candid and some posed. the hours this guy must put into his work doesn’t bare thinking about. It was an absolute privilege to have him photograph our wedding and I will recommend him forever.

From the moment we saw Eftals photographs we knew that we wanted him to photograph our wedding and from the moment we spoke to him we knew we had made the right decision. Professional, friendly and intuitive, Eftal made the process simple and fun. The photography for our wedding was always one of the absolute priorities. I scoured websites, wedding fayres and friends’ photos, looking at 50+ photographers and slowly working up a dream shortlist. Eftal was top of that list from the beginning and we were delighted that he was not only available for our big day but prepared to travel to a venue he’d never been to before. His style is just wonderful; so warm and magical, capturing the most perfect moments between couples and their guests. On the day, Eftal was everywhere yet he just blended into the wedding; we barely noticed he was there which was perfect for me, a very awkward bride not used to having her photos taken. (Another tip; get the engagement/pre wedding shoot from Eftal if you can, this definitely helped me!). We were on the brink of a global pandemic, we were nervous and stressed but Eftal was that perfect combination of professional and friendly - everything you want and need in a supplier! The weather on our wedding day was challenging all day - we had grey skies, followed by an almighty storm which lasted well into the night. I insisted we try to capture some outdoor shots and Eftal was resourceful and in control when I felt all was lost - he offered advice, rallied us and made us laugh when we were all outside shivering and soaking wet! A true rockstar photographer who felt like a friend by the end of the day. The resulting images are stunning, we cannot believe in the midst of some of the worst weather I’ve ever known that he managed to achieve such beautiful photos which perfectly summarise a wild day in the Lake District. We really wanted to get married with mountains and water as our backdrop and the Lake District is such a beautiful location. However with the unpredictable weather and the importance to me of our wedding photos I knew we needed someone that could handle whatever the day threw at us.
