Y.I was lucky enough to know Steve as he took beautiful photographs of my mum’s wedding and then my little sister’s wedding, and, despite us getting married in Scotland, I was desperate to have him take our photos for our wedding. Steve is absolutely wonderful, not just as a photographer but as an all -round incredible guy. From lying on his stomach to get the best photos, to keeping me updated with all the vendors who were arriving so I’d know what was going on, to fastening our nephew’s boutonnière, he absolutely could not do enough for us. He’s that extra little bit of something special who will go out of his way to make the bride and groom happy and genuinely feels like one of the family.
I love how “extra” Steve is, from going along with my daft tiktok photo ideas to bringing along his brilliant daughter Rosie to help get perfect “veil” and sunset shots. He’s tremendous and his photos seem so effortless and beautiful. Steve is an absolute credit to his profession, taking a perfect mix of candid and posed shots whilst making everyone feel perfectly at ease. He and Rosie drove all the way from Furness to Helensburgh (having set off at dawn!) and worked tirelessly all day to capture all the important moments from our day, as well as being such a big and important part of our day itself, helping me get in my dress, ensuring all the groomsmen got their buttonholes, fielding questions and organising so much and helping the day run smoothly.
We absolutely adore Steve, our testament to this being that he has done 3 weddings in our family and, despite not knowing us beforehand, has always treated us like family. He is kind, compassionate and funny. Organised but makes you feel so chilled, fun, makes you smile, always goes the extra distance and takes the most beautiful photos I’ve ever seen. He makes sure to capture the moments that matter and encapsulate your special day in pictures which are truly unique to you, your spouse and your family. The groom wanted to add that he felt Steve was very supportive, happy to oblige random photos and had a happy demeanour. Sam does not normally feel comfortable with photos but said Steve made him feel very much at ease.
If you’re looking for someone who will not only take beautiful photos of your day but will also make you feel relaxed, comfortable and go the extra mile, Steve is perfect. There are loads of great photographers out there but he is 100% the absolute best and a brilliant person to work with as well as being a talented and hard working photographer.

We chose Steve as our photographer for our wedding on 26th July 2022 at Cote How, Rydal, Ambleside, Cumbria.
From the moment of the first phone call to confirm Steve as our photographer to the end of our wedding day, Steve was truly professional, so kind and helpful, and really made us feel at ease.
We didn't want wedding photo's that were all "posed", we wanted our photo's to be relaxed and natural as it was a small intimate family wedding. And Steve exceeded any expectations we may have had.
We even got to spend some time with him chatting on our way up to have some photo's at Rydal Caves, and by the Lake. He is a thoroughly nice gentleman. Steve, it was an honor to have you make, and complete our amazing wedding day, and our flower girl Ayira-Grace took a real shine to you.! You have given us so many cherished memories of our fantastic day.

E. T.I would without doubt recommend Steve for any occasion where a photographer is needed, we had the pleasure of having him photograph our wedding on the 11th Dec 20, after a postponement and restrictions Steve was nothing but helpful and understanding in all the planning and changes.
We are both not the most photogenic people and was very worried about the pictures which I had said to Steve about from the start but he made us both feel so relaxed and at ease, he hasn't had much time to sort the pictures out as yet but the few we have seen from the day are better than we could have expected.

K. M.Wow!!! We cannot thank this man enough. After my original photographer cancelling on me the Saturday before my wedding on Thursday - I messaged Steve and rang him to which he thought I must’ve been a stalker. He came back to me straight away even while at another ceremony. He went above and beyond and took me out of a massive depression hole. Taken us down to the prom was just amazing. What made it even better was he was friends with our videographer Dave. He made me and my husband laugh, he made us feel calm he made us all feel amazing.
Honestly Steve I can’t thank you enough everytime I think about how you made our day I get tears in my eyes. If it wasn’t for you we would’ve had no photographer. Seeing a couple of snippets from our wedding brightened up our day and we cannot wait for the photos to come back. I told you over text I will give you a kiss and i most certainly did on the day.

W.well were do I start! when me and tony first met steve we felt like we had always known him.we explained that we are not very photogenic and steve suggested a few ideas that we were happy with.on the actual day steve made us feel so relaxed and in a very good way we did not even notice him it was as if he was a guest we have just recieved our photos and they are stunning it is going to be hard to just pick a few for the album. so steve from the bottom of our hearts thank you for giving us beautiful memories that we can always look back on love diane and tony waddington.
