We have now used Laura twice. For our wedding and for our new born. She has officially become our family photographer and we’d never go anywhere else. The most important thing is that we’re so comfortable around her. She lovely, friendly and very welcoming. Her photos are fantastic. She plays with light and different angles to really try and achieve different shots as well as the more common requests. As such, you get a lovely array of photos. I would highly recommend.

We booked Laura Rachel Photography as we felt all the photos were individual to the client. The engagement shoot that was included in our package was at a location of our choosing and since neither of us felt comfortable in front of a camera, a great opportunity to get used to the being photographed. Laura really put as ease by being friendly and talkative while giving us tips on how to take a good photo. This really helped reduce the nerves of having the camera around on the wedding day. On the big day itself, Laura and her assistant were wonderful and all their experience came across in how proficiently all of the photos were organised. We felt comfortable and at ease and to be honest didn’t even notice they were there half the time. We have just received the wedding photos and can honestly say they are amazing. Laura and her team really managed to capture the feel of the day and our style as a couple. All the pictures feel personal and looking through them takes us back to the moment. Laura Rachel Photography managed to capture and convey the emotions that were experienced on the day and we can’t wait to see the album.

Laura is amazing! She is so friendly while still being professional. She took photo’s for my sister’s wedding and then last year for my dad’s wedding so she was somebody we had a brief acquaintance with but it was only after meeting various photographers that we knew she was definitely the one for us. She is easy to talk to and happy to bounce ideas off of. We wanted a really informal wedding with lots of fun and she has really captured our day well. Laura Rachel Photography has been on a journey with us from our engagement shoot in 2011, our wedding in 2012; Laura has also helped us create special memories for the arrivals of our daughters in 2015 and most recently, 2019. Over eight years, Laura has captured different milestones in our lives; I couldn't ask for any one better to do the job! Laura is incredibly patient which shines through in the newborn shoots as she spends hours getting all the right shots and setting each photo opportunity and stopping to allow baby to feed or have a cuddle when needed. She is attentive to what you want - we wanted to have something that symbolised our second daughter being a rainbow baby; Laura listened and delivered some beautiful suggestions. She is also willing to try out your own ideas- we wanted to try a shot that included a guitar which Laura was more than happy to try! Coming to your home to take the photos makes you feel at ease and also allows your children to feel comfortable in their own surroundings; I liked that if my 3 year old wanted to play, we had everything there. It minimised any unnecessary stress for all. Our wedding photos are still something that I enjoy going through nearly seven years on. Your wedding is something that is one of the most important days of your life so preserving each moment is so precious and important; you want a photographer that makes you feel comfortable, listened to and also empowered. Laura captures natural shots, shots that really show the love and happiness on the day. She takes her time to edit and put together all of your memories with professionalism and passion. I could not recommend Laura Rachel Photography highly enough; we have found our family photographer for life and can't wait for more of our milestones and memories to be captured over the years and while Laura has watched us grow from two to four, we have also watched her grow and blossom into the photographer she is today.
