Where do I even start?! From the moment we first started chatting to Tim and Claire, we knew we had chosen the perfect photographer for our wedding day. The style of the photos was exactly what we wanted (relaxed, not too posed, fun, interesting ways of working with the light), and so when we found out how lovely Tim and Claire both were, we were chuffed. We had to change our wedding date three times and we were so relieved that they could still do those dates. They were incredibly patient and understanding with all the changes and to-ing and fro-ing and like nothing was any bother whatsoever. We had regular catch ups and email replies were quick, which makes all the difference when you have so much to think about. On the day, Tim was phenomenal. You didn’t even realise he was there which is perfect for a couple who hate posing for photos and hate attention! He was patient whilst we rounded up our family and friends and really efficient at getting the group shots done so that everyone could get back and enjoy themselves. The three of us then went out to take photos and he found some amazing spots we hadn’t even thought of; he had clearly scoped out the area and knew what would work with the fast fading autumn light. I can’t put into words how impressed we are with the final photos, which we got back exactly one month to the day that we got married. They are perfect. They really show how happy and relaxed everyone was, and he does magic things with lighting! People have said how impressed they are too and can’t believe how well Tim captured the moments. We can’t stop looking at them! They’re the perfect blend of smiley, happy photos and then cool dramatic shots. I just wish we had another life event that needed documenting! Tim and Claire are wonderful! We were married in 2018 and had a great experience working with This Modern Love. We were planning our wedding from long distance (currently living in the USA) and Tim and Claire were so flexible in working with us over Skype and on the phone and making sure our planning process was as stress-free as possible. We had such a wonderful time on our wedding day and are so happy that Tim was there to capture these memories on film. Tim really captured the feeling of the day and we look at our photos and watch the video slideshow Tim and Claire put together for us all the time! We can't say enough good things about This Modern Love. What I think is truly special about This Modern Love is how Tim and Claire recognize that each couple they work with is unique and make an effort to get to learn more about the people they are working with. There is no "standard wedding photo shoot" with This Modern love, but instead Tim and Claire work to capture the spirit and emotions of the day in their photos in way that feels intuitively tailored to each couple.

I describe Tim as the ninja photographer; he was accommodating, never intrusive and his photos perfectly captured the most memorable, emotional and ridiculous(!) aspects of our day. Tim and Claire are such a great team! We first dealt with Claire over email when planning our wedding and she was most helpful and genuinely as excited about working with us as we were with them! She answered all questions promptly and no request was too big or too small, we felt utterly at ease and confident in our choice of photographer. As we live in Australia, we Skyped with Tim closer to the big day to discuss the finer details and he was such a pleasure to speak with! He made us feel at ease instantly and we couldn’t wait to meet him in person on the day and see what magic he could capture for us. And boy he did not disappoint!!! He introduced himself on the morning of our wedding and made everyone feel relaxed from the get go. And then we barely noticed him for the rest of the day! He didn’t intrude or make himself too “obvious” on the day, in fact all of our guests even commented that they didn’t notice him all day! Yet the photos told a different story. He captured every moment perfectly, raw emotion, candid moments and saw things that we didn’t on the day which was so amazing to be able to look back on. We were truly blown away with our wedding photos. They were all edited beautifully and we received them in a timely manner after our minimoon so we didn’t have to wait long at all to relive our special day. I love looking back on our photos now and I’m so so happy with our choice to work with Tim and Claire, they were an absolute dream! Would highly recommend This Modern Love to anyone looking for a unique, genuine, quality photography service and product. You will treasure those moments forever!

Neil and I were lucky enough to have Tim do our wedding photography and it was one of the best wedding decisions we made. From the start, Tim was so easy going and helpful having a few Skype chats before the big day - he put us totally at ease and we knew he would fit into the style of our wedding perfectly. Claire, his lovely wife was amazing at coming back with all the information we asked for so it was the easiest process from start to finish. By the time we met Tim on the day itself we felt like he was just another member of the wedding party, managing to get THE MOST AMAZING pictures throughout the day, and not even really noticing he was there. The final pictures are absolutely stunning, with every single person who attended the wedding confirming how perfectly Tim managed to capture all the special moments throughout the day, and the moments you didn't even realise happened. We are so happy that we asked Tim to be photographer for our wedding day. Both he and Claire were brilliant at helping us plan for the day and we felt complete confidence in any advice or suggestions they made. On the day itself he was so helpful and a really lovely addition to our party because he is so fun and relaxed which I think rubbed off on us too. He was really efficient in taking group shots (of a VERY large family!) and he got great photos of both us and guests on the sly during the day! I loved having them capture my wedding as they really listened to my needs and wants but also had the confidence to push for what would photograph best. We couldn't possibly recommend Tim & the team highly enough. He was utterly fantastic! The preparation leading up to the day was very thorough, with Tim ensuring he got to know us & the sort of wedding that we wanted. On the day Tim was brilliant, capturing every moment whilst at the same time blending into the background, making sure we were totally comfortable with what he was doing (and helping talk us through the day), and capturing all of our guests throughout the day (we received so many compliments about him afterwards & I know many people will be using him in future!) We've just received the photos (way ahead of when we were expecting them) and they're just as brilliant as we had hoped. Tim & This Modern Love are a must, I'm just sad we don't have another event to use them at just yet!

From the moment we saw This Modern Love’s gallery, we knew we had found our photographer. The images were warm and intimate but also had a cinematic quality; they looked to us like stills from a movie. In a process which can become incredibly stressful, it was the easiest decision we made. We booked immediately. During the months preceding the wedding we chatted with Tim and Claire on Skype and email and found them to be exceptionally warm and engaging people. It was immediately clear that they genuinely care about the couples they work with and obviously love what they do. When it came to the wedding day, we were married in a Chateau in France with close friends and family. During quite an intimate day Tim felt more like an old friend with his cameras rather than a wedding photographer. He mingled with guests and helped out with the cuff links whilst intermittently disappearing into the background to capture beautiful, organic moments which would have been missed in the blink of an eye. He worked tirelessly all day and he was a pleasure to have around. A true artist and a gentleman. The day really does fly by and when we returned home, the excitement of seeing the photographs was huge... They did not disappoint. Firstly, a beautifully curated slideshow enabled us to share the photographs easily on smartphones and later, we received a link to a collection of incredible ultra hi-res images. Our wedding was the greatest day of our lives, and we doubted that we could ever explain to somebody who was not there just how magical our little piece of the Dordogne was on that beautiful August day. Tim managed to capture the warmth, the fun, the emotion and somehow the essence of the day in a way we could not have imagined. The photographs tell our story like a classic Hollywood film you want to watch again as soon as it ends. They make people smile, laugh, cry, smile again and leave you with a feeling of ‘happily ever after...’ If you have an opportunity to work with This Modern Love on your wedding day we whole heartedly recommend that you do. Claire & Tim are professionals and great at what they do. The whole process, from start to finish, was calming and enjoyable. Like most, we were a little anxious on how we might feel having to pose infront of camers. But within a few minutes of the "shoot" we were both laughing and enjoying the whole wedding photo experience. The price point is very competitive and the turnaround was fast and easy.
