We contacted a lot of photographers in an effort to find the right one for our Big Day. After talking to Emma over the phone and a meeting, we both instinctively felt she was the right person to do it. She listened to us, and really helped us figure out what we wanted (having never had professional photos taken ever before!). On the day (we married at the Royal Pavilion) she was just great. Staying in the background for the casual shots, we barely knew she was there until it came to the portraits, and she took control and made sure everything was just right. We also had pictures taken on the seafront, and she knew the right shots to put together. At the Reception, her presence was barely noticeable and yet she took some amazing pictures. One of our guests commented that at their son's wedding they had to ask the photographer to leave because they were so imposing and intrusive. This most definitely wasn't the case with Emma...and as everyone sat down for food she quietly slipped away. Perfect. We received over 500 pictures on disc, and selected 50 for a printed album. We would highly recommend going for all of the pictures on disc so you don't have the agony of trying to discard any! The album was beautifully designed, and we even had some additional copies printed for parents - which they loved. As well as being a highly talented photographer, Emma is a lovely person, and we're so pleased she took our pictures. The day goes so quickly, and because of Emma we have wonderful memories in her pictures that we can look back at for years to come.

We chose to use Emmest photography because we loved the photographs on the website - the style of them was exactly what we were looking for. We contacted Emma immediately and were delighted when she said that she was available for our date. We met with Emma in advance of the wedding, so that we could discuss the arrangements and she could get a feel of what we wanted. On the day of the wedding, Emma could not have been any better. Neither me or my partner like having our photograph taken, but Emma put us at ease and was totally unobtrusive. Emma had our online photo album ready for when we got back from honeymoon - the photos were absolutely fantastic. She captured the day in such a wonderful way. I would absolutely recommend Emma as a wedding photographer - she was brilliant.

We chose Emma to capture our special day after browsing through literally hundreds of wedding photographers online. We loved Emma's natural style and wanted someone to capture the day very naturally and without photos looking too posed and false. We felt confident after meeting Emma that she was the perfect photographer to do all this and she hasn't disappointed! She was so accommodating and tailored a package perfect for us. Emma was really professional, patient and friendly and really did blend into the background and yet still managed to capture the day perfectly. She took so many beautiful photos and we cannot wait to see the final DVD and printed photos. Emma's communication was excellent both before and after the wedding and our guests absolutely loved the photo booth she set up for us in the evening, it was such fun! It was quite a thing, trying to find the perfect photographer for our wedding, but having stumbled across Emma's work, I knew we had found someone quite special with a very impressive talent. We were very happy to have booked Emma as our wedding photographer. She certainly has a remarkable way with a lens! We got married on March 10th which started cloudy but then soon cheered up. We had a lot of fun on the day having photos taken outside and inside the church where Emma captured some lovely ones of friends and family and then we went to a beach hut that belongs to a friend and took some more. They were great and really innovative. We also took some at the bandstand. I would recommend Emma as an excellent value photographer with whom you cannot go wrong. Thanks Emma!

We looked at a number of photographers online before remembering that Emma had photographed our friend's wedding a few years previously. As a bridesmaid, I had been impressed by Emma's efficiency but also her willingness to help people feel at ease, so we were pleased to find that she was available for our wedding in Tunbridge Wells this year. We had wanted to achieve a balance of fun and candid shots as well as some traditional group photographs, and this was something that Emma was able to do really well. We met with her beforehand to discuss our ideas and Emma ensured at this point that we had thought about the kinds of things we were hoping for, as well as advising on timings and what had worked well at previous weddings she had photographed. On the day, Emma and her colleague arrived punctually and immediately put everyone at ease with her friendly manner and relaxed approach. While the preparations were busily going on, Emma took the initiative in doing some shots with the bouquets, shoes and dresses etc, and was extremely creative in the way that she did this. She also struck a balance of taking enough photos but not being intrusive, which was really helpful for some of my family members who are slightly camera shy. When we received our photos, we were so incredibly pleased at the quality of them, and the variety that we had, and it was so exciting going through them all. A lot of the photos captured tiny moments that we had forgotten had actually happened and this was really special. I was particularly pleased with the shots of the children that we had at the wedding as they were playing and wandering around. When Emma did our portraits, she sensed when we were out of our comfort zone and was able to put us at ease and suggest poses that we would feel comfortable doing. Many of our family and friends commented on Emma's professionality and friendly manner, and we have received numerous comments about the lovely photos that they have been able to view in the online gallery. Overall, we are incredibly pleased with our photos and would like to say thank you for providing us with so many special memories of our day.

Emma was the photographer at our wedding 3 weeks ago and we were very impressed with her professionalism and, of course, her stunning photos. Our wedding day was absolutely freezing but Emma didn't cut any corners during our shoot down on the seafront. She was constantly enthusiastic and knew exactly how to direct us for the best shots. There's not much my other half and I agree on, but when we were looking for a wedding photographer we were both drawn to Emma's beautiful, natural and artistic style. Throughout the whole process Emma was lovely to deal with - polite, professional and friendly. I was worried about finding a hair and makeup artist but Emma was able to recommend the wonderful Amy Prifti who did an amazing job of transforming me and my bridesmaids, with a great sense of humour. On the day our guests were impressed with how easily Emma blended in, which is great because we have lots of photos of people having a good time and everyone felt relaxed. I was also surprised by how much of the ceremony she was able to capture from so many different places without anyone noticing! We have a lovely variety of black and white, colour, artistic, 'classic' wedding photos and candid shots, beautifully presented in a coffee table style album that friends have commented really capture the way we are around each other when no one is looking - what more could you ask for? I think it's a great endorsement of Emma's talents that our venue have asked for her pictures to feature on their new website. If I'd had a bigger budget I would definitely have gone for the engagement shoot and photobooth options. I was put off by the idea of an engagement shoot because it seemed a bit narcissistic but actually I think it would've been a really good way to learn to relax in front of a camera and work out what we wanted (especially because I'm shy and awkward!) - maybe next time! 5 stars from Team Shaw

We cannot thank Emma enough for helping create such beautiful memories of our Wedding. From planning it out to the big day, Emma has been truly professional and listened to what we wanted. When you are caught up in the whirlwind of excitement on the day you want someone that will take control of the situation and that you can rely on. Emma did exactly that and made us feel relaxed through all the shoots. We chose the full wedding package with photo booth which enable for us to get photos all the way into the evening and has included some brilliant extra memories of our evening guests. We have had fun selecting photos for the album and look forward to seeing it and reliving our Wedding day.

As we we quite anxious about having our photos taken we chose to have an engagement shoot done as well, this worked well as we got to know emma and we were able to use the photographs as our table names which looked really effective. we then also met emma in advance of the wedding to discuss arrangements On the wedding day Emma was fantastic, she blended in well, and we had several comments from our guests about how discrete she was. Emma had our online photo album ready in a couple of weeks and we are very pleased with the results. We would absolutely recommend Emma as a wedding photographer - she was brilliant. Thanks Emma.
