I really cannot recommend Simon highly enough, he was so much more than we expected from a wedding photographer. We wanted to capture the day not as a set of formal posed photographs, but as a record of people having fun, and Simon did exactly that. All of our guests were captured, and the photos are vibrant and as full of joy as the day itself. Simon is such a friendly presence to have around and guests are still telling me how great they thought he was. He captured every moment of the day and many moments that my husband and I would have missed if it weren't for his excellent pictures! He obviously knows his stuff when it comes to weddings and he did exactly what we asked of him. I honestly couldn't be happier. Have Simon do your wedding photos, you will be so pleased you did!

I really cannot recommend Simon highly enough. Our wedding day was re-arranged over and over and Simon was always very responsive and patient with the constant date changes! Simon also fit so seamlessly into the day - it was not intrusive or uncomfortable at all. It felt like an old friend was there taking our photos! The final product speaks for itself - the photos are breathtaking. We love the moments that Simon has captured and we really feel that the photos show what a fun and happy day we had with all our friends and family. The pictures are so vibrant and full of life. The colours really pop and we are over the moon with the images. To be perfectly honest it is going to be a hard task to decide which ones to get printed! Thanks again Simon - you really were a star and we are so grateful for your skill and expertise.

I found Simon very quickly via Google when I found out my original photographer for my wedding couldn’t do our rearranged date. Luckily Simon was free! He was very quick to respond and has been really easy to communicate with before and after the wedding. We are so pleased we chose Simon as the photographer for our wedding in June 2021. We love our colourful, informal, expressive photos - Simon captured our small casual outdoor wedding perfectly. He strikes a great balance between putting you at ease and sneaking around to document important moments without being obtrusive. I had no idea he was there when many of the ceremony photos were taken. He also made sure to get all the shots we had mentioned we wanted too. Simon was extremely communicative from day 1 and we always trusted that he would be reliable and the end result would be what we wanted. Our wedding was postponed due to the pandemic, and he contacted us early on to outline our options, how to rearrange and was always happy to discuss anything with us as needed. He is also lovely, and we felt entirely comfortable with him throughout. Some of our guests have enquired about his availability for their wedding next year. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Simon to anyone.

We planned our intimate town hall wedding for October 2019 and Simon was the obvious choice! After browsing through numerous photographers we absolutely fell in love with his style: casual and natural. He made us literally laugh out loud which produced some amazing natural shots. Yet he managed to capture the emotional moments of tears and pure happiness. One of our favourite shots is the Queen inspired / abducted by UFO shot! He was friendly and approachable about everything we wanted with our wedding style, and he managed to work such a long day (which was a credit to his energy and motivation) and deliver some beautiful pictures for us to share with our family and friends. Could not recommend Simon enough, you are not just getting someone to record the day, his ability to cater to a lot of people, including guests, the photography style, the storage of the photos on the server, etc really was one of the highlights of the wedding day (not kidding).

He really listened to what we wanted rather than just deciding how he was going to do it and he had some challenges to deal with given the format of our wedding and the fact there was not much room to work with but he soldiered on with a smile on his face and stayed much later than originally planned when our venue ran behind. Booking Simon to photograph our wedding was one of the best decisions we made. His pictures speak for themselves- they are absolutely stunning and we have had so many compliments about them. Simon himself is the best kind of relaxed- he makes you feel calm and is just generally lovely to be around- but he is also very much in control and serious about doing the best job for you. Simon has his own style (which we love) but he also really listens to what you want and takes that into account and offers really excellent advice without being pushy. We never once felt that Simon was dictating how our day went and yet we still got the most amazing photographs which are really natural and capture the day perfectly. Simon was also super responsive in the lead up to our wedding by email and we met via Skype beforehand but he was happy to meet in person too if we’d wanted that. Simon also sent us the final photos within a few weeks of our wedding- it’s obviously worth it if you have wait longer but it’s such an added bonus that we got the photos back so quickly. Everything positive about Simon is also true of his partner Heather who produced the most amazing wedding video for us, which again we have received so many compliments on! We would highly recommend booking Simon and Heather for your wedding!

Where do I start? Simon was so professional and friendly throughout. Trying to plan a wedding through COVID can be difficult at the best of times but Simon stayed in contact throughout and was by far the best ‘wedding supplier’ we had in terms of professionalism and friendliness. His communication is always so personal and gets back to you straight away. Before the wedding we had a virtual meeting where he confirmed all the information and it was an opportunity to get to know what style we wanted. On the day he really made us at ease and the whole family were so impressed with him. Then we were given a slideshow of photos - a sneak peak ahead of the gallery. He completely hit the nail on the head with the style we wanted - fun, relaxed and candid. The lighting and angles are beautiful. (Check out his Instagram - it’s how we found him!) thank We have just received the full downloadable gallery and are so touched. He was really up for trying different things and suggesting photo opportunities at various points - seeing them now you can tell he is a pro. He knows where the good lighting is and what will make a perfect photo. He asks beforehand if there are any specific shots you want - and gets them all!! I can’t recommend Simon enough. I would recommend full day coverage as he has the knack for capturing the feel and love from the whole day. Thank you Simon - 5 stars!!!

On the wedding day Simon worked seemlessley and did all the photos we required along with an additional photo shoot which gave some unexpected excellent photos. We had several zoom calls where he asked tons of questions to really make sure he understood what we wanted, but was also able to guide us on the way as there were lots we hadn't considered. Simon & Heather did the most fantastic job for our wedding at the beginning of December. We didn’t actually begin planning with videographers in mind, initially we thought photos would be enough- but I am incredibly grateful that we changed our mind. After the wedding you start to piece together the day, and there are blanks (blame the wine and nerves!) and highlights you wish you could rewatch (speeches!), and those memories can only be held onto with photos or video, and that’s all you can takeaway with you from your wedding. So safe to say Simon & Heather needed my full trust to be able to assure everyone to put their phones away- I had it covered (it was a choice to do in this day and age, I wanted everyone to live in the moment and I’ll never regret doing this) They were unbelievable, as you can imagine because I’m writing this huge review. Absolute artists. I barely knew they were around, and when they sent the highlights video I couldn’t stop crying, it was just beautiful inside and out, it was done so perfectly and captured the moments I didn’t ask for but 100% wanted, it was so special to hear my dads words again and to watch jack and I exchange vows. They did an impeccable job, so I urge anyone at all getting married to please, please go with Heather & Simon, you’ll regret nothing, they are excellent people and you can’t put a price on memory, and the fact I now have this video to cherish is all I ever wanted.
