Just want to thank Tom and his team for the first class service they provide. Over the Last two years I have bought and traded in used and new Leica gear. An absolutely unrivalled level of customer service and a somewhat stressful experience made an absolute breeze. I conducted lots of prior research on the exact camera and lenses i wanted to buy, and i was gearing myself up for the 'hard-sell' on lots of expensive camera equipment. Tom at the Bristol branch was able to order everything into the store for me to come and view when i had time. He kept me up to date of exactly when everything would be ready, and there was no rush for me to come in on that exact day. Tom was extremely friendly, professional and knowledgable, and set everything up so i could have a look and test the equipment in store. He was very patient with me, and even though i spent a long time in the store he didn't once try and rush me along - he even made some suggestions from his own personal preference and style too. There was absolutely no hard-sell or pressure to buy anything at any point, and nothing was too much for him. When i wanted to look at extra items, he was more than willing to help - he really went above and beyond to make my purchase so simple, and to make sure i got the best deal possible. I wouldn't hesitate to go back when i need to buy more equipment, and infact I even look forward to it!

Great staff/service! I took a newly purchased camera in that I thought was faulty and they did a detailed check for me. It wasn't even bought here! (Turns out it was fine) The staff were very informative and helpful. I'll definitely be coming back to check out the second hand lenses. Scott + Tom - Bristol Park Street. Thanks for rescueing me earlier selling me the Canon 600 flash, its absolutely spot on. Had a big property to photograph at 3pm with my flash breaking down on my 12pm appointment - you saved my bacon !! Used to visit your old store quite a bit mainly to brouse although bought a few bits. Have bought new and second hand from LCE over the years and always been really pleased. Already keeping my eye open for the next lens - EF24-70 2.8ii. Keep up the good work Bristol and the whole of LCE

At first when phoning the store ahead of my visit I did not know what to expect and my conversation was not the best how it was handled, that said I visited the next day after explaining I was interested in a certain lens they had in stock. I was welcomed by Liam who came across very knowledgable and put me at ease and started my enquiry straight away. having suffered a stroke sometime ago although I am not disabled I am a little unsteady on occasions. Although Liam did not know this he seemed to notice I was in need of a sit down. He offered for me a seat while he went to the stock room to search for the lens. He was gone seconds and returned and very competently fitted it to try on my camera. His knowledge immediately gained my trust so much so that I purchased the item and also enquired about another piece of kit for my business. Thank you LCE Bristol and Thank you to Liam for his excellent customer skills and camera knowledge. 5star

I was a customer at the Baldwin Street branch and although it's sad to see this branch close, it's great to see Tom and the team over at the Broadmead branch now. They have in-depth knowledge of their products, and give solid honest advice, even when that means advising you not to buy something. It bought a Meade astronomy eyepiece set online from LCE, which was despatched from the Bristol Horsefair branch. Really quick service, a lovely hand-written compliments slip thanking me for my purchase from Emily:>) and well packaged. I left off a star as the box came full of plastic packing which now has to go to land fill! Lots of companies use huge bubble wrap, which at least is a tiny amount compared to this. Try and use more eco friendly packaging LCE☹️

Very friendly service. I was just thinking about to buy my first dslr. I visited many stores, big chains as argos or curry's, but they were unable (unwilling) to help me to pick my first camera. At London Camera Exchange the staff was very friendly, showed me every model I was interested about. They also gave me tips and a short introduction about how dslr cameras work. Best place to go in Bristol!
