We have recently had a newborn photo shoot with Marion. Our baby was initially very awake and unsettled however Marion was brilliant at soothing her in between taking photographs. Marion was also great with my older two children, and very patient with my toddler who really wasn't keen to have his photo taken. We are really pleased with the final photo selection and would recommend Marion to others who want to capture such special images.

My daughter and I had a ‘mummy & me’ photo session with Marion, she was so lovely and professional and made us feel so comfortable, she even supplied some outfits she thought would be great for the shoot and was very patient with my daughter. We recently had a photo shoot for our first daughter with Marion. Our daughter was 4 weeks old and we were worried it would be difficult to get 'newborn' pictures but it was not a issue. Marion was brilliant with our baby, it was lovely to sit back, relax and watch her work. The photos exceeded our expectations, we wanted a few arty ones with a woodland magical feel, a family portrait and then a few natural ones that really captured her at this special age. We received a gallery with all of these and more. It has been very difficult to whittle them down, but it is excellent value for what you get. Marion was very thorough and patient with us and really knew what we wanted. She also spent so much time positioning and setting the scene to make sure every picture was just right. It is so nice to have these photos now and look back at this time.

Marion was so welcoming and made me feel at ease from the initial email exchange and pre-shoot phone conversation about photographing my newborn baby. Very professional set up in her studio and we never felt rushed throughout the shoot which was needed as our newborn wasn’t always the sleepy model needed!!! This is the second shoot we have had with Marion. First with our daughter and now two years later with our son. Marion is amazing before, during and after the shoot and I cannot recommend her highly enough. She creates a lovely calm environment for the shoot so there is no need to feel nervous with your newborns. She also did a great job with my 2 year old daughter who was very reluctant to be photographed but Marion has managed to somehow create a miracle and produce some lovely shots. My daughter recently had photographs taken for an acting agency profile/acting cv. Marion was excellent at understanding what we required and explained how my daughter should sit, stand and show different facial expressions.The photographs were fantastic quality and I loved being able to scroll through them all via the gallery, to select which ones we wanted. Had a maternity photoshoot with Marion and was slightly apprehensive of the shoot and what was expected but Marion made me feel very welcome and helped ease the nerves straight away! She then explained what was involved and what we would be doing throughout the shoot making sure that I was comfortable at all times throughout. Very professional. The shoot went really well and I was kept informed throughout the whole process whilst waiting for the photos to be edited. I then went back to Marion's studio to view a slideshow of my photos which was such a lovely touch and was really impressed with the outcome and then had a chance to view the photos at a closer look and was able to chose my complementary photos! Overall I would highly recommend Marion and very grateful to of had the opportunity to have the photos to capture such beautiful photos to keep as a memory to look back on after the baby is here.

We first came to Marion in 2018 for our first newborn photo shoot with our first son. We always knew we would come back with any further children. Marion provides such a warm and professional welcome and photoshoot experience .she prioritised the needs of our baby first and foremost but also made us feel very involved and we also loved the fact we had family pictures taken.The end result of the photos produced were truly outstanding. We have just had our second photoshoot with our second son.The experience mirrors our first time with Marion, however she also worked her magic on our very energetic 3 year old and produced outstanding siblings photograph aswell. I had a professional shoot with Marion and she was amazing! I had never done anything like that before and she made me feel at ease and super comfortable. We booked Marion for a puppy photoshoot and we’re so glad we did. Right from the start me and my (excitable) pup were made to feel completely at ease in her lovely studio. She was so patient with my pup who didn’t necessarily like to stay still! And it was clear that he felt very calm and comfortable in her presence (even with the camera flashes!). After the shoot, the edited photos were delivered so quickly and to a high standard - they were so gorgeous we had a hard time choosing which ones to keep! The initial phone consultation was great because it gave me a chance to discuss and explain what I wanted from the shoot. Communication from Marion is always quick and she was very accommodating when sorting out dates. On the day, everything was very well organised and Marion made sure to get the shots we wanted. The whole shoot was very relaxed and both my babies slept through most of it! It didn’t take long to get the proofs back and it was really easy to select the photos we wanted. Pricing is also very reasonable and clear unlike a lot of other photographers I looked at. We’re so happy with our experience and absolutely love the photos!

Marion took some excellent photos of our border terrier Jake, it was hard to select our favourites! Jake loved the experience ( especially the treats) Marion was very mindful of his attention span & worked with him, so the pictures were really natural. I updated my headshots and got some stunning portraits from this extremely talented photographer, as well as some beautiful model digital shots. For a short session we managed to achieve a corporate look as well. Marion Hill Photography had fantastic communication from the start, we did a brief zoom meeting to discuss what we both wanted from the shoot and arrange a suitable date. Her studio was easy to get to in Portishead and from the get go she made me feel relaxed and confident we would create some great shots. We worked through sets quickly, Marion and I worked well together with a mixture of direction and allowing me to bring my modelling experience and I am very happy with the images we created. The gallery was up quickly so I could choose my favourites and she quickly did some excellent edits. I would highly recommend Marion Hill Photography especially to actors looking for a fresh headshot update or businesses looking for some great corporate portraits.

I have had an amazing experience with Marion when she did a shoot with my newborn daughter at 10 days old. The room was the perfect temperature for keeping her content and Marion was so gentle and confident when putting her in to different positions :) The pictures were wonderful, having a mixture of natural ones where she was stretching to pictures of her tiny feet! I asked Marion to do some product photography for me and my small business, I sell gifts on Etsy and good photos really make your products stand out in the search results and lead to sales. Marion was so brilliant, easy to work with and provided a selection of images for each product with different backgrounds etc. I have loads to choose from and can use them on my social media too. An excellent investment and is already generating more product sales. I will be back with my next product launch :)
