We had the pleasure of spending half a day with Melanie at her beautiful studio, photographing our newborn daughter. Melanie is friendly, professional and trustworthy. We felt at complete ease from the get go, as did our daughter, which is reflected in a gorgeous compilation of photos. We cannot thank Melanie enough, and would highly recommend her.

We had a photo shoot for Christmas last week and cannot recommend Melanie enough! Not only were the photos absolutely beautiful, she was fantastic with my 2 boys. Me eldest is autistic so can sometimes feel uncomfortable in new situations and she put him at ease and everyone had a laugh. I would recommend and will absolutely have photos done by her again

We had such an amazing day during our photo shoot with Mel. The photos were for our fitness instagram account. Melanie was so enthusiastic, patient, and full of creative ideas. Despite the weather not being ideal Melanie managed to capture photos with great lighting and we even managed to get some pictures outside. We are so pleased with the outstanding professional photos that capture our individual personalities. Melanie provided us with a full set of digital shots we can use for what ever we wish. We would 100 percent Recommend Melanie for any photo shoot her ideas patience and professionalism are outstanding!

We’ve been fortunate to have Melanie photograph our family twice now, once for a newborn shoot and once for a family photo six months later. On both occasions the experience was fantastic. A wonderfully relaxed studio setting with a true expert photographer who knows her craft inside out. The results were stunning and our prints now take pride of place on our walls at home. I have used Melanie for both of my boys Newborn shoots. One being done while social distancing measures have been in place and I could not recommend a more professional photographer. Such a lovely, wonderful lady and the safest it could possibly be. I couldn't recommend Melanie enough. If you're considering using Melanie, I promise that you won't regret it. Melanie is an outstanding photographer who specialises in newborn photography. Although we didn’t commission her for newborn she took our first photos as a family of four on a location shoot. She was delightful and caring with the children and we received some incredibly beautiful photos to treasure. She is now my go to photographer for our family. We recently had a Christmas photo shoot of my now four and two year old at her delightful studio. Everything was immaculately clean and during these Covid times she was incredibly thorough and reassuring - my daughter is clinically extremely vulnerable and we felt completely safe. She will not take risks. Again the photos are classy, beautiful and a wonderful keepsake of Christmas 2020. I know we will use Melanie again because when you’ve found the best there is no point looking anywhere else!

Melanie has been photographing our little boy for the past 7yrs since he was a newborn ,and has always been accomodating, professional and taken wonderful images. Last year as well as my son's annual session, I turned 50 and the only person I would consider was Melanie to take images to celebrate this milestone. I have had two sessions with Melanie one newborn and also a sitter session recently, and I honestly wouldn’t look to anyone else for photography - her professionalism is beyond outstanding, As any mother of a newborn , watching somebody else with your child can be extremely daunting - Melanie had instantly put my protective nature to rest with her visible care and dedication also by the way in which she handled and manoeuvered my tiny baby. We had a photo shoot done with our little 12 month old Lilly with Melanie through a friends recommendation and aren’t we so glad we did. She was so professional and so good with her. 4 years ago, my partner and I sought Melanie's services after viewing a number of beautiful newborn images that were produced for a friend. Our son's photos were remarkable and captured his pure, sweet and innocent features. Spoilt for choice we purchased the digital images. This allowed us to utilise all print types: cards, canvas's and photos. 4 years on, Melanie photographed our newborn daughter. Gentle, delicate and angel-like. All of our interactions with Melanie have been professional. While handling my babies Melanie always put safety first and ensured that they were warm and comforatable throughout. Watching Melanie at work and seeing her creativity unfold was mesmerising. We are so pleased that we have captured these precious moments. The images are like works of art. Mel has photographed my baby girl as a newborn, a three month old, and is due to see her again next month for her 6th month sitting shoot, each time we have received the most amazing pictures, she does an amazing job of capturing the little details, whilst making sure they are safe, and comfortable! IV recommended Mel to several family members and friends, all of them were over the moon with their pictures, and loved their whole experience. Melanie has now photographed both of my children and I wouldn’t look to anyone else to capture such beautiful serene images whilst ensuring at no point my baby is put at risk. My daughter was a preemie and I was nervous to take her for a newborn shoot but Melanie assured me she always prioritised the safety of the baby. I was particularly worried about germs as she had a weakened immune system, but Mel constantly used antibacterial gel, she assured me all props used had be properly cleaned and where possible sterilised. She did not position either babies in any poses which would not be safe for them and through out the photo shoot she was very in tune with the baby, reading their signals constantly to see if they were uncomfortable, needed feeding or winding, and making sure they weren’t too hot or too cold. I felt really relaxed through out both shoots as Mel was clearly prioritising safety first and that was really important to me. And the images speak for themselves!

Could not be happier with our photos from melanie. They are beautiful. I was slightly anxious about a hands on photo shoot during the pandemic but melanie put us at ease throughout. She had minimal contact with our baby and used anti bacterial hand gel throughout and everything was cleaned before use. Would recommend melanie to everyone!
