Cool, easy to talk with, engaging, committed to candid and bespoke images; he listens and shows he hears in his actions; and of all the compliments we had about our entire wedding weekend, the food and Simon were the most frequently commented on. Our guests specifically remarked about how fantastic his photos were, and how easy and unobtrusive he was. He is a fantastic partner who shows up and does an incredible job. After searching and reviewing photographers in the area, we found Simon and we are so grateful we did as he was not only the utmost professional, but just a great guy who made both my wife and I feel so comfortable throughout the wedding day, he managed our guests where required but also made himself blend into the background taking amazing photos and really capturing the moments. Thoroughly recommend Simon as a wedding photographer. The engagement shoot was a really nice way to get to know him before the wedding and the photos from both the engagement shoot and the wedding day are exactly what we wanted - fantastic quality but also with a very natural, relaxed style. On the day, he seems to have been everywhere at once, capturing the key moments throughout the day in a really unobtrusive way and he was a pleasure to work with throughout.

We hired Simon after seeing him at Leigh Court wedding fare. Straight away we were impressed with the work he has produced and the way in which he conducted himself. He was incredibly polite, approachable, professional and made you feel at ease. Another great quality which during wedding planning is vital, was that he was easy to contact and was always quick to respond. He listened to everything we asked for and went above and beyond to capture our wedding day perfectly. During the day one of our guests asked if we had a photographer which goes to show how unintrusive he was and how he just blended into the background. I couldn't of asked for a more beautiful collection of photographs which depicts our amazing day in the best possible way. We will be buying an album through Simon and wouldn't dream of going anywhere else to get one made. His eye and attention to detail is truly superb. I would book him for other events and family photos in the future as well. I cannot express how impressed and pleased we have been with his service and wouldn't recommend anyone else.

Simon Withyman was our photographer for our wedding on the 4th May 2019 and we can't say enough good things about him. From the moment we met Simon he made you feel at ease, he showed us a fantastic portfolio at our first meeting & then thereafter at our engagement shoot he continued to make us feel comfortable - which was needed as we aren't fans of having our photos taken. On the day of the wedding Simon was not just a great photographer, he was a real help on the morning of the wedding for the bridal party. When taking photos of the dress etc. he helped the bride tidy up, so they could get clean shots. He then continued to stay in the background whilst the bridal party got ready, laughing & chatting along with everyone, whilst getting some awesome photos. Throughout the day Simon continued to stay in the background getting great shots of everyone having a good time, he was also fantastic at getting everyone together when it came to the family & friends photos. We had such wonderful comments about how nice he was & how quick & painless the photos were. Simon - Thank you for capturing our day so beautifully & we are so pleased with all our photos. All the very best for the future, we hope to work with you again one day, for another occasion.

Where do I start. My wife and I booked Simon as our wedding photographer after meeting him at a wedding fair and our first impressions were that he is very calm and laid back. Simon was very clear on his price structure and arranged to meet us at our home to go through the day in more detail, until we were both happy with the schedule. On the day itself, Simon made sure he made time to get photos of both the bridal and grooms party getting ready, whilst making time to snap the venue before people arrived. At the ceremony itself, Simon manages to get an array of natural photos without intruding on the event itself, this is the biggest compliment I can pay him. But during the few staged photos we asked for, Simon was more than happy to accommodate requests from our family to get some extra photos. Following the events, Simon made full use of the surrounding area to get some intimate photos which look sensational. Finally when we caught up with some of our guests following the wedding, one of the first things they complimented us on was how good our photographer was. You will not regret booking Simon for your big day.

My Wife and I had the most amazing wedding day on the 18th of April and every moment was captured perfectly by Simon. From the day we met him, he has been fantastic to work with and we could not be happier with our choice to hire him. The photos we have will be cherished for a lifetime and each one shows our wedding from a different angle and lets us re-live it moment by moment. His candid approach meant that Simon blended in nicely to the background and although the guests that did have interactions with him found him charming and friendly, his photos really managed to capture our guests emotions perfectly throughout the day without feeling forced or disingenuous. Simon is clearly very passionate about his work which shows in all of our photographs and we can't thank him enough for everything he's done for us. If anyone reading this review is considering asking Simon to be there on their special day, don't hesitate. Simon was the photographer for our wedding in April. He did an excellent job and we could not recommend him highly enough. Simon has a very friendly demeanour and put us as our ease from the moment we met him. We did a free *engagement shoot* before the wedding, and Simon did a cracking job, taking a lot of extremely creative shots which were very playful. For the wedding itself, Simon put a real shift in, and was at the venue for about 11 hours, starting with taking photos of the bridal party getting ready, and finally finishing with some shots on the dance floor. We even found the time to head off into the countryside for half an hour to do some additional photos with just the two of us. Anyway, the photos were fantastic, Simon did a great and professional job, and we would definitely recommend him to anyone.

The photos were amazing and we loved them!! Captured every moment and we have so many photos to remember the moments and we got to discover things we hadn’t been part of which was great. Simon was our photographer for our wedding day and he was amazing. We met him for a chat before getting to know him a bit better at an engagement shoot which was a great taster of what was to come. Before the big day he made sure he knew what our key photos where so he could capture them on the day. On the day he was excellent, extremely discrete but he managed to capture everything. The photos arrived in low res as soon as he could which was only a couple weeks after the day and we have a lovely USB with all the high resolution delivered soon after.

He was incredibly relaxed and slipped around our guests largely unnoticed capturing lots of brilliant natural shots of every single person. He would be a great choice for any couple, who, like us, aren't that comfortable posing and he was quick to notice when we were flagging! The photos are crisp, capture all the happiness and fun of our day effortlessly. Simon worked well with our venue, knowing the best places to stage pictures at the right times throughout the day to catch the best light. We met Simon at a wedding fair and knew after talking to him that we wanted him to capture our wedding, no one else compared as he's a great guy. We wanted a 2nd photographer at our wedding & Simon had someone who could do that, I have to say that was the best desicion we made as they both did a great job, worked well together, made our day even more relaxing & they knew where to put us and organise everyone in there shots.
