This was my third visit here. I absolutely recommend coming here to have a Vintage photo session. This time it was with my 10 year old son and we chose Wild West theme. You can choose your costume, obviously within reason because of sizes, and then you are posed accordingly. It's so much fun, especially if you love dressing up. The owners are really lovely and friendly too, such a great experience and a fab souvenir.

Awesome. What a great experience. Nicki really knows hers stuff. We were dressed perfectly by Nicki's expert eye. Would love to go back and do a different time in history. An absolute must, made our holiday that little bit more special.

What an absolutely fantastic experience from start to finish! We have been coming to Lynmouth for well over 10 years and have considered getting a picture so many times, but today we stopped thinking and just went in. We had a brilliant experience with Nikki keeping our 2 boys focused and entertained, our youngest doesn't stay still for a picture at the best of times but she kept him focused and engaged thought out the whole experience. Our oldest was just excited that he was holding a rifle (and was kept suitably focused by Nikki). My wife is very body conscious, but she also felt very at ease and overjoyed with the out come. Johnny brought our completed picture out and was very humble about the work that he and his wife do so well. We couldn't be happier with the result! Long story short, if you are ever near Lynmouth come and get your picture taken. You will not be disappointed. After previously being put off by the price I would have been happy paying £100 more than I did. This picture will take pride of place in our home!

Stopped past and picked up a business card almost on a whim whilst meandering past. Really pleased that we did! Our initial reaction to the price was it was little expensive, but can genuinely say it was worth every penny and more. The kids loved the dress up and we now have some brilliant memories all wrapped up in a sepia toned, beautifully framed picture. And to top it off Nikki was very friendly, welcoming and professional. Fantastic warm and friendly people. I had my oldest children's portrait done there in 2001, youngest child in 2013 and just been back to have my grandchildren's portrait done. Absolutely fabulous and a beautiful work of art. I couldn't recommend this wonderful place enough. The photographer is just fabulous with the children and put them completely at ease resulting in a wonderful photo.

We booked in advance as birthday celebration for my wife and kids, absolutly brilliant and fun. The portrait is amazing, we chose the western theme and could not be happier with the service and quality of the picture we have recieved. Amazing experience - me and my family was transported back in time, what a place - authentic and so much fun. The professionalism and experience of the Photographer made this novelty portrait a treasured family photo. I highly recommend this to anyone young and old. As a photographer I know the perils of making portraits and I was super impressed by the integrity and energy of the photographer/owner. She managed to make my kids who hates their picture being taken relax and actually enjoy the process. Thank you so much - We will be back!

I had a portrait done here in about 2008(ish). In recent years I'd thought about going back to get another one and am glad to see that the studio is still open. Hopefully, once all this lockdown stuff is over I'll be able to head back up to North Devon and will surely stop by here. The photos look great, the costumes and props are more or less authentic for the periods and the intricate frames add the final touch to make it look like a proper period photograph.

What can I say...absolutely fantastic experience and the end photo was exceptional! We had our dog in the photo and even though we had our doubts about how the photo would turn out we had no reason to worry. The photographer was both professional and brilliant with us all including the dog! I would highly recommend this shop if you are in the area and are wanting a fantastic photo! We as a group of 5 from Germany planned to visit the shop to have a picture taken. So I wrote them an email to ask what it would cost and one hour later I had an answer. I was really impressed. Silly as I am I forgot to book an appointmen but that was no problem for them. They maid us feel really comfortable. We had a lot of fun in the shop and the team was really friendly and professional. Couldn't have been any better. Only took them half an hour and we got the finished pictures and all of us 5 were over the moon. The quality is perfect. Would always return to the shop and recommended it to anyone who is interested taking a old styled picture. It's really worth it.

Firstly thank you both so much for allowing us to bring Winston the bull mastiff for a Victorian portrait with my son . The professional approach made our experience most enjoyable, even the dog knew what to do ! I really can not fault the victorian portrait company, with thier standard and quality of their work,i reqested a portrait of me and my beloved dogs..rollo and wispa in all the victorian attire, the result was amazing ...and the picture is on my fire place for all to see...would reccomend them to anyone,nothing is too much trouble..well done you guys who made this possible .
