It is hard to explain just how amazing Dan is (as a person and a photographer!) we love him!! The booking process was very laid back and as soon as we got chatting with Dan after seeing all the amazing weddings he’d captured, we knew we’d chosen the best photographer! Dan’s work stood out from the rest so much when searching for a photographer and we instantly knew he was the one. On our wedding day, it was like having one of your friends who happens to be a photographer there, Dan has the best personality and made us feel at ease and relaxed. He played such a big part in our wedding day and helped the day go smoothly. So many of our guests said how lovely Dan, Chris and Shaun from D&A were, they were such great people and we really cannot thank them enough. Dan was always ready to take the most perfect pictures at the right time, the best sunset pictures ever as well as making sure all of our guests were in at least one picture. Cannot recommend D&A enough, nothing else will ever beat them. If we speak to anyone that mentions they are planning their wedding, straight away we are like “you have got to book D&A for your photos”!!! If you are considering D&A Photography don't think about it for a second longer - just go for it!! You will LOVE the outcome. D&A was shooting a friend's wedding and the moment we saw their work, we knew we wanted them to capture our day as well - love at first sight!! From then on, Dan was the perfect mix of directive but understanding, using his incredible talent whilst knowing what we wanted as well. Working with Dan was so easy and stress-free, the team make the process very straightforward and we had a couple of calls/meets in the lead up to run through the plan of the day and just make sure we were all on the same page. Our wedding was jam-packed as we had two ceremonies but the team captured so many beautiful moments and emotions in such an authentic and natural way. We never felt like there was a photographer but instead some of our mates who followed us with cameras! It is exactly what you want as it means everyone is relaxed and genuine joy was captured by the team. The end result is more than we could have ever hoped for. The photos are perfect and we can't stop going through them - so hard to pick which ones are the best. Honestly could not recommend D&A Photography enough. Jess & Arj x

In the lead up to our big day, we found it most challenging to pick a photographer as it was hard to find someone we really loved. We cared most about the photos as they would be capturing one of the biggest moments in our lives. When our planner showed us Dan's work, we immediately responded YES!!! Where to start??!!... Dan and Chris were the most incredible team. The only people in the wedding industry to have a nice and relaxed approach which cannot help but rub off on you (I wish the whole industry could adopt this approach!!), we FaceTimed Dan and he secured the dates for us there and then even with it being relatively short notice and not having a confirmed venue until a few months before, he was not phased at all. Their professionalism, charm and overwhelming positivity on our special day is something we will remember forever. Throughout the whole process Dan was checking in on us and making sure we were happy. Both Dan and Chris felt like part of the family on the wedding day and I truly could not have asked for more. The pictures and videos are exceptional, Chris's video captured our day perfectly and those that couldn't attend due to COVID have commented on how they felt like they were there. I could go on about Dan and the D&A Photography team until I’m blue in the face but will do my best to keep it brief. BOOK THEM. I had high hopes for our wedding photos and videos but goodness me they have smashed the roof of our expectations. One of the most important parts of our wedding planning was getting the right photographer. Photos mean so much to us and we wanted them to be amazing. We met Dan at a wedding fair and instantly fell in love with his photos and him! We knew we wanted him straight away and I am so glad we chose him! His personal touches were so lovely. We booked D&A Photography to capture our wedding day, and from the start we were very happy with our decision. Our initial wedding date had to be rearranged due to COVID restrictions, and Dan was very helpful and accommodating in this regard. On the day of the wedding, Dan arrived at our accommodation early in the morning and set about capturing our preparations, and then headed over to our venue ahead of the ceremony. During the day, Dan was always there but never seen, capturing all the important and special moments of our day, producing the candid photos that we always wanted. Some of our favourite moments of our day were when Dan took us off as a couple into the woods or field behind our venue to take photos together. He was great fun to have at our wedding, and helped us both get comfortable in front of the camera very quickly – something we’re not naturally inclined towards! All of our family and friends were very complementary of Dan, and we would happily recommend him to anyone who needs a photographer, whether it be for a wedding or another occasion. We couldn’t be more impressed with Dan, and he will be our first port of call for any photography needs we have in our future – of all our suppliers he was the one that exceeded expectations the most.

There really are no words to describe how happy we are that we chose Dan to take our Wedding photos, but I will try! Dan is a friendly, bubbly, passionate, professional guy and an all round legend, and from the first point of contact with him I felt like I was speaking to a friend. He is not your usual stare down the camera lens and feel awkward kind of wedding photographer, he is a natural moment capturing magician, who snapped up the story of our day so perfectly that it brings tears to our eyes every time we go through our photos. When considering which photographer to use for our wedding in Tuscany, Dan's work instantly stood out. We were looking for a photographer who would be able to capture moments without endless formal posing - and he completely delivered, we were absolutely blown away by the images. It has taken me a while to find the words to write this review and do Dan the absolute justice he deserves as an amazing photographer! Dan shot our wedding in the Cotswolds on 16.12.2017. We hadn't met Dan previously but I had exchanged numerous calls and emails with him in the lead up to the wedding. Communication with Dan was always so easy, he was always on hand to help and nothing was ever to much trouble. On the day of the wedding he was absolutely amazing. Arriving early to get shots of us all getting ready and in this time captured so many special moments. Everyone commented on how relaxed he made them feel and how professional he was. My Mum has always had a complete phobia of the camera and didn't even realise until we received the photos that he had taken any of her! The whole thing was so natural and he made us all feel at ease. All of the shots we had whether just me and my Husband or group photos ran seamlessly. We honesty could not of asked for a nicer more professional guy to shoot our wedding! When the photos arrived I was speechless. I still look at them now and cant quite believe they are "my" wedding photos. To have the ability to capture a couples wedding in the way Dan does is an incredibly rare talent and we will never be able to thank him enough for how he captured our wedding day. The "small" touches Dan makes ( sending a welcome box with champagne and chocolates when you book him and a lovely thank you card afterwards!) are also what makes the whole experience so special and makes him much more than just a "wedding photographer". When we got engaged, the one thing we agreed we would not compromise on for our big day was the photographer. I spent months trawling instagram to find someone who's style fit our own. I had found a few contenders saved but luckily for us, we met Dan at a wedding show and his work blew all the others out of the water in seconds. Not only did his work blow us away, his passion and brilliant sense of humour meant we were sold. We married in August of 2020 which meant we - alongside the entire wedding industry! - went through a pretty stressful few months before we even knew if it was possible for us to still be married. Dan was amazing throughout this whole journey and we felt assured that we had his support throughout any amendments we may have needed to make. Fortunately, we were still able to go ahead and Dan photographed our smaller day with such positivity, it still felt like the big day we had planned. Not only was Dan our photographer, he has certainly experienced far more weddings than we ever had and it honestly felt like he helped run the entire day. Dan blended in like a guest, always let us know when he saw a great opportunity for a cool shot and laughed along with us like an old friend throughout the whole day. I've never felt so comfortable having my photo taken and all of our guests commented on how fantastic he was, our incredible photos are absolutely evidence of that. We received our photos 6 weeks after the big day which we thought was amazing, he managed to capture our personalities and those of our guests so perfectly. We had a whole evening where we sat looking at our photos saying, "Oh I forgot about this!", "Oh wow, I can't believe he managed to capture that moment!", "Gosh I can't believe this is us, we look amazing!" Haha! We knew we had made a great choice in Dan when we booked him, but our photos are out of this world and we are so grateful to have shared our day with such a lovely person. To those considering a photographer, please check out Dan's instagram/website and prepare to loose your mind. Once the day is done, and the wedding dress has been dry cleaned and stored, all that is left from the day is memories and I didn't realise how important that was until we received our photos. Picking Dan as our photographer was by far the best decision we made. If your thinking of having him... don’t think, just book him quick before someone else does!! Communication with him was always easy and professional. It was amazing to get to meet him at our pre wedding shoot. Wow, where do I start? After meeting Dan at university almost 9 years ago, I knew I wanted this guy to be behind the camera on my wedding day. 6 years later he shot my sisters wedding - which then confirmed it. Dan Sakal will be my photographer (not that I was engaged at this moment in time). We wanted Dan so much to shoot our photos that we even changed the date of our wedding so that he could be there (yes he was booked 2 years in advance - I also think that says it all). Dan’s professionalism and eye for detail is second to none. I know him yes, so this might be cheating, however, he made both Jamie and I, all our bridal party and our friends and family very comfortable but still managed to get the most amazing shots. We actually changed from our original photographer when I saw some photos Dan had taken at a friends wedding. I couldn’t stop looking at how beautiful they were and so had to have him! It was an absolute bonus he one of the nicest humans Me and my husband have ever met! He is an absolute gentleman who made everyone feel so comfortable. He became so part of the day and it wasn’t just me and Adam who felt comfortable with him everybody did. It’s so nice to work with people you instantly trust and Dans one of those people!
