I have been to Lorraine twice for my newborn photos as she is just so fantastic. On our most recent visit she was truly wonderful with my two year old and we managed to get some lovely photos of her with her baby sister, which I never thought would be possible with such an active child. It is obvious when she’s working that Lorraine is a seasoned professional. After processing and editing the photos I asked Lorraine if she would be kind enough to tweak one of the colours in several pics- she was more than happy to oblige.

Extremely professional, experienced and fabulous with our newborn taking great care throughout which put our minds at so much ease as new parents! Me and My wife booked lorraine for our maternity and newborn shoot and honestly it was such an amazing decision we made !! Our maternity shoot went really well lorraine made us feel at home with her hospitality which allowed us to be calm and relaxed to create some lovely maternity shots. Today we took our little star for her newborn shoots and it went so so well lorraine was so caring and patient with our baby we felt at peace with our baby being with lorraine to work her magic she is so creative and we captured some special moments with our baby cant wait too see the final results. I first had the pleasure of meeting Lorraine for my son's newborn photo shoot and she was like the baby whisperer. She was so gentle with him and got amazing result. I then had a cake smash which was fun. Then recently I asked Lorraine if she could photograph some memory bears for my mums business Milo Bears and she did an unbelievably good job. I can't put into words how beautiful her photographs are. She really captures the emotion that goes with the baby/ product/ animal. When I was originally looking for a newborn photographer there were many out there but no one came close to Lorraine's photos and I am so glad that I found her.

We visited Lorraine for a newborn shoot in early January 2018, and it was a truly wonderful experience. Lorraine made us feel right at home which was perfect after a difficult night with our delightful newborn! She was professional, warm, friendly and you can tell that she absolutely loves what she does, and puts her all into every shot. She was open to our ideas, and made us feel really included in the process. Our little girl was incredibly peaceful and allowed Lorraine to put her in every pose she wanted! We visited Ellie J Photography for a new born photoshoot in March and we absolutely loved both Lorraine and her work. She managed to fit us in after our original photographer couldn’t due to our daughter being born early and we are so glad that she did! Lorraine has a friendly, calm but professional approach which put us at ease. As first time parents we were nervous about the experience being upsetting for our daughter but Lorraine worked around her feeding times and changed the set up to suit whether our baby was awake or sleeping. The safety and comfort of the babies she works with is clearly Lorraine’s top priority and she provides an area for feeding and changing and always talked through exactly what she was doing when gently positioning our little girl into poses. Our shoot captured absolutely beautiful shots that show our little girl’s personality, even at only 7 weeks of age, as well as some lovely family shots that we will treasure. Lorraine is super flexible, still managing to capture those lovely ‘typical newborn’ poses despite our daughter being older than what is usual for a newborn shoot. She is also quick to respond to messages over both Facebook and email. We couldn’t have been happier with our images and the quality and finish is really beautiful. We can’t recommend Ellie J Photography enough, the whole experience from start to finish was fantastic.

We had a newborn photoshoot at the end of January and it was phenomenal. Not only did Lorraine fit us in when our little boy decided to make a 2 week earlier appearance she made us feel incredibly special and relaxed. It was a brilliant day and the photos we have received are superb. All of our families want a copy of all of them as none of us can pic which ones we prefer. I would recommend Lorraine to anyone with a little one on the way. We will be returning for future photos.

We have literally been on our photoshoot today and I had to come home and write a raving review! Lorraine from Ellie J Photography was absolutely AMAZING!!!! She was so friendly, warming, welcoming and made us feel so relaxed and trusting of her from the start. She was so gentle with our little 11 day old Alexander and we have named her the 'baby whisperer' because if he started to show signs of getting upset, she was able to soothe him gently back to sleep whilst still getting the pose. She allowed questions to be asked in a comfortable environment and was open to any suggestions we wanted to include in the shoot. The environment was so comforting for a newborn, she'd thought of everything from the temperature of the studio, to baby changing facilities, to a baby white noise app she had playing on her phone to ensure a calming atmosphere for our little boy. I can't recommend Ellie J Photography highly enough. I wish I had had a maternity shoot with her now to capture the last few days of my pregnancy. I can't wait to see all the pictures because I know they'll be breathtaking having already seen a preview. Thank you so so much Lorraine!!!!! You're AWESOME!!!!!

The Sons of Pitches (photo below) chose Lorraine for our 2018 tour photoshoot after seeing her amazing repertoire. She normally works with families, children and new borns. However, Lorraine did not disappoint with a full band photo shoot! Lorraine worked hard to come up with ideas before the day and was extremely creative on the day too. We collaborated with her to come up with some amazing shots, not to mention the use of her lovely studio and variety of props. We couldn't have done this without her! Omg this woman is amazing... Both of my girls Newborn Photo Shoots have been with her over the years (my oldest being a tiny 4lb premie when she first met her) and since then we have been back for family pictures too. Most recently we had a socially distanced outside shoot due to Covid and not only did she make us and our children now aged 3 and 6 feel completly safe, the photographs she managed to get are exquisite anyone that can get my 3 year old to smile rather than grimace is a miracle worker anyway to be fair 😀.... If you want a guaranteed stunning photo this is the lady to see. We will deffinatly be back as the kids grow 😀 Highly recommended *****
