We first met Jenny 2 years prior to our wedding at a family wedding. We loved seeing her at work, seeing how how she put everyone at ease and how she made obligatory family photos so much fun! The photos of that day were so good that when we booked our wedding, we knew she was the photographer for us! We certainly could not have chosen anyone better. Jenny’s communication from our initial contact, right up until arranging our album is second to none. She is so friendly and responds quickly to any enquiries. Not only that, she also offers advice and insights into the running of the day, which were very welcome! She really got to know us well in the lead up to the wedding and understood what was important to us. Jenny and our second shooter, Lianne, were outstanding on the day. Not only did they make us feel completely relaxed, but they worked incredibly hard to ensure they captured every detail of our day. We can’t believe just how much of the day they photographed! Jenny understood the photos we wanted and her gentle guidance and suggestions for shots have given us so many wonderful photos which we will treasure forever. She knew that although we wanted some gorgeous couples photos, we also wanted to spend lots of time with our guests, and we were never away from the party for more than 10 minutes! We couldn’t be happier with our photos. If you want beautiful, relaxed and fun photos, then Jenny is absolutely the photographer for you. We can’t thank her enough.

Jenny was our AMAZING wedding photographer, she was fantastic both on the day and in the lead up to the day with our pre-wedding shoot. We could not have chosen a better photographer or person than Jenny at Indigo and Violet! From the moment we met Jenny she was the most lovely person who put us completely at ease. She has been amazing at communication from the start and the relationship we built with her made us feel like we were hanging out with one of our friends on our wedding day, not our photographer. Having a pre-wedding shoot got us really well prepared for our wedding day and meant that on the day we could recreate those photos we loved! Both Jenny and the second shooter, Charlotte, were amazing on the day. They completely understood how important having lovely photos was to us - but also how we didn’t want to be away from our guests too long! They made the whole process of photography on the day super easy and relaxed. The photos speak for themselves - fun, relaxed, emotive and they reflect our personality perfectly. Jenny was our wedding photographer and she was just perfect!! Throughout the process she really took the time to get to know us, find out what our day was about and what was important to us. The pre wedding shoot was another great opportunity to get to know each other and for us to get used to being photographed, we felt very grateful it was included in our package as it helped us relax on the big day itself. But most importantly, Jenny's photos captured our day in a way that is unique to her but really told our story. Her photos are fun, vibrant, natural and most of all, breathtakingly beautiful! We have had so many well deserved compliments from our family and friends! I cannot recommend Jenny highly enough, the service (along with some lovely personal touches along the way), experience on the day and of course the photographs themselves are brilliant. We can not thank Jenny enough for the wonderful photos she took in both our pre-wedding photo shoot and on our wedding day itself. Jenny is so passionate about her work and really took a personal interest in both of us and what was important to us for our wedding. On our wedding day one of things we loved was that there was no pressure to pose for lots of staged photos, rather Jenny taking natural photos of our guests which really captured the magic of the day. Jenny was also fantastic at communicating with us throughout the time we were planning our wedding, always responding quickly to any e-mails we sent. Another thing about Jenny was nothing was too much for her on our wedding day, going above and beyond taking photos to helping the grooms party with their button holes to bringing smoke grenades to really make some of our photos stand out. Jenny also sent our wedding photos back really quickly (over 900 of them!) which was great. All the photos were of perfect quality and really captured the magic of our day. We loved that Jenny sent us a personalised box which even included more copies of photos than we’d actually asked for which is testament to the type of person she is. We can’t recommend Jenny enough if you’re looking for a wedding photographer. As Jenny is independent, we really felt we received a personalised, tailored service which is exactly what we were looking for. Nothing was too much trouble throughout the time we were planning our wedding and on the day itself. And we are obsessed with looking at our wedding overs and sharing them with our family, friends and anyone who comes within 500 yards of our house!

My husband and I were absolutely delighted with our wedding photographer, Jenny from Indigo+Violet. Our photographs really show the story of our wedding and capture the energy of the day. Jenny was merticulous in her preparation for the day. She asked me lots of questions that really got me thinking about what we wanted from the day and the photos. Jenny took the time to get to know us, which helped her to capture our wedding so well and tell the story of our day. She visited the venue beforehand to check the angles and lighting and meet the wedding planner. We had a second shooter, which I would recommend because it was really nice to see shots taken from different angles, and it meant that more of our guests were captured on the candid shots. On Jenny's advice we kept formal photos to a minimum and had lots of candid shots. This meant that on the day, we hardly noticed the photographs being taken, and we got a very true record of the day. There were lots of photos of people laughing, which is exactly what we like to remember from the day. Jenny had lots of great advice that we really appreciated. She's seen so many weddings, so her tips are well worth listening to! I can't recommend Indigo+Violet enough, if you want a very personal service from someone who cares about capturing the energy of your day.

I was lucky enough to have Jenny of Indigo+Violet to photograph our wedding. I am a hobby photographer and Jenny takes the kind of photos that I can only dream about taking, so I knew I could trust her to get the shots that I wanted. I am not very comfortable in front of a camera, but Jenny helped me to relax and feel at ease. She also has the amazing ability to become invisible and capture some truly beautiful shots without anyone being aware of her presence. She is wonderful with children and was my 3 year old's new "friend" while we were getting ready in the morning, which made things a lot easier for me. Her communication was fantastic throughout and as for the photos themselves? They will be treasured forever, I couldn't have hoped for better!

My children don't like posing for photos.....trying to get a good family photo quickly turns stressful. Jenny made the experience relaxed and enjoyable for the whole family. The kids were comfortable, relaxed and natural. Jenny has a very calming personality and can adapt to childrens personalities and emotions straight away to get the best out of the session. We wanted to say a massive thank you to Jenny for the fantastic service she provided long in advance of, and throughout, our wedding day. We knew right from the start that she was definitely the photographer for us, and that we thought would make us feel most ourselves on our wedding day. We are a female couple who are not massive fans of being in front of a camera, but are so glad we did, as we have so many beautiful, happy memories that we keep re-living. Where do we start?! She has very high standards and it comes across very clearly that she is extremely passionate about making the day memorable and individual for her couples. She was transparent about costs, and exceptionally organised, well in advance (we found this in hindsight, extremely important, with the multitude of things to arrange pre-wedding!). In our case, we didn't have a massive budget, and cut wedding costs in various places. Beautiful memories were very important to us though, so we prioritised the photography (compared to chair sashes- we couldn't care less!), and we're so glad we had Jenny as our photographer. Due to a later ceremony, we opted to have photos taken at a beautiful park locally. She was non-invasive and allowed us to just be ourselves and worked around that. We felt comfortable and relaxed with her, that she was just being herself, and that was enough for us. She had us fill out questionnaires at specified times pre-wedding, about how we wanted the running of the day to go. This was very user-friendly online (also easy to make and keep track of payments), and allowed her to get more of an idea about our personalities /how we met etc. With these approx 6 and 3months before, it gave us a kick to start organising, and allowed us plenty of time to sort the other bits and pieces for the wedding without too much stress. We had a beautiful photo sent the morning after the wedding, and then a preview (about 30photos of our day), just after we arrived back from honeymoon, so again a great service! These were really beautiful and capturing personal and memorable moments - we hadn't even realised she was there for! We have just received the rest of the photos in full, they are just so gorgeous and we are very overwhelmed at how brilliant a job she has done with creating our memories. I hope this helps other people with their decision - we've not looked back, and feel very lucky to have had Jenny sharing our day with us. Thank you! Ann +Stacey Chadwick-O'Neill

Jenny is such a wonderful lady! Her work is absolutely stunning and speaks for itself, I mean she can make anyone beautiful by finding what makes them glow and capturing it! I recently had a family session with her and she was so proffessional and made us feel so relaxed at the same time. My son is usually so shy around new people but he was so comfortable around her and in turn this relaxed me and my husband too! We had a wonderful time just walking around being a normal family and her pictures documented it all perfectly. She was very clever at encouraging us to engage in a relaxed activity together without us even realising at the time. The images turned out more wonderful than we could have expected, they really do feel alive when we look at them! I can't wait to spend many years reliving that memory all over again. It didnt feel like an awkward photoshoot at all and the images can totally reflect that if your not comfortable, I can't wait for jenny to capture our wedding in 2 weeks time!
