Jon did the photography for our wedding in August, and we couldn’t have been happier with his work. From the outset Jon was approachable and friendly, and always made our meetings light-hearted and enjoyable. It rained non-stop for the duration of our wedding, but he still managed to produce an incredible set of photos that captured the day perfectly! I’d recommend Jon to anyone looking for someone to take the snaps of their big day - we couldn’t have asked for anyone better.

I cannot recommend Jon highly enough. A very pleasant, easy going and professional photographer. Jon has a gift of putting even the most camera shy person at ease when taking their photos. The wedding photos were made fun. All of our guests commented on what a lovely man Jon is and Jon seemed part of the wedding crowd which made everyone feel at ease with him. Jon was superb with the children. I was really impressed by the quick turn around of the photos and they are amazing. All are excellent and Jon has captured the day perfectly. We could not of asked for more from a wedding photographer. Jon was great from the start, he is very genuine & friendly and put us at ease straight away. His style of photography was just what we wanted - relaxed, natural & timeless. Leading up to the big day, Jon was always on hand to answer any questions we had and give us help & advice. It really is worth doing an engagement shoot to get to know each other & see how you work together. On our wedding day Jon (& Geoff) was just like another friend at our wedding - going above & beyond the call of duty, we spent lots of time together had lots of fun with our photo’s. Our wedding photos are out of this world, they truly captured the essence of our wedding day & are beyond what we had in mind. Looking at them brings back all of our memories and thoughts from the day. We have been stunned by how magical our wedding day looks and so many beautiful photos that showed us the whole day start to finish! We have the best wedding photos ever because of Jon. He was around all day with a partner, Mel to take photos of use getting ready, ceremony, wedding breakfast through till the first dance. He got on really well with all the wedding guests and made the day just fabulous. Right from our enquiry into Jon's availability for the wedding to the day itself and beyond, we have been so happy with everything. We really cannot speak highly enough of him. We felt so comfortable all the time and ended up feeling more like friends than clients. For our engagement shoot, Jon travelled to our village in Leicestershire and we walked to the local woodland. This was the perfect opportunity for us to get to know Jon better and vice versa. We were more than happy with the photo's taken too and felt completely at ease the whole time. On our wedding day, Jon arrived bright and early for my wife's preparations, while a colleague of Jon's met myself at the church. Both photographers worked incredibly well together and were more than happy to take some extra requests for photo's throughout the day. Jon seemed to always know the perfect opportunity to capture the best pictures. Nothing has ever been a problem for Jon. He does a great job without any complaints. Despite the long day and hundreds of photo's taken, Jon kept a smile on his face the whole time. We will be recommending him for all the future weddings of our friends and family.

Without doubt one of the best decisions we made related to our wedding day! Jon and Ben not only took amazing pictures, they were a laugh and made us feel completely at ease. They were just another two guests with lots of camera equipment(!) and at times it felt like they were part of the furniture with them managing to get some excellent shots without being obtrusive. As a result the photos captured the day fantastically and are exactly what we wanted. They provide a true reflection of the day with a mixture of traditional and modern shots, some funny ones as well as some really beautiful, classic ones. The quality of the shots is amazing with fantastic colour and with 715 given to us, we are struggling to pick our favourites! The engagement shoot is a vital part of the experience and for us was essential in helping us to feel relaxed on the day. The weather didn't phase Jon at all and he was up for anything allowing us to embrace the rain and get some unique shots in a river! The whole experience with Jon has been incredible, so easy and we now have beautiful photos as a result. We couldn't recommend him enough!

There are too many good words in the dictionary that we could use to descrbe how amazing and wonderful Jon Cripwell Photography made our wedding! From the first emails sent back and forth it was obvious that not only was this photographer pasionate about his job but genuinely wanted us to get everything we wanted out of a wedding photographer. When we found Jon we were (of cause) very stressed about the whole wedding planning and thought that the photographer was going to be one of the hardest things to find. Jon made us feel at ease instantly, talked through with us every option that we had and actually asked us questions about what we wanted... and delivered it all with excellence!!!! Jon without a doubt made our wedding planning more enjoyable than we ever thought it could be. Jon offered us a wide variety of options, never once made us feel that he was pushing to get the most money out of us and always replied to emails within a flash so that every decision could be made with all the information we needed. On the wedding day EVERYBODY instantly fell in love with his warm and helpful character, his ability to put you at ease when your feeling most nervous is a gift he uses so well. He became not only THE BEST PHOTOGRAPHER we could have asked for but apart of our wedding ( which is what we wanted ) giving us space when it was obvious we needed it and even helping to deliever champaigne to the bridal suit :-P To be honest once we were all dressed up we didnt even notice he was there, through the ceremony he silently took beautiful natural photos of all of our families and friends sharing our special day, with help from the bridesmaids he arranged everyone for group photos and then at the reception he erected a wonderful photobooth which everyone instantly flooded around and allowed us all to play with the costumes as he again took excellent photos of us all having fun. But lets be honest, Its all good and well Jon being a fantastic person its what his photos look like thats the best bit!!!! I can not explain to you the feeling you get when your photographer hands you your wedding album in a beautiful case... when you open it up and every single photo is perfect, when you can not fault any photo at all. His quality photos are a perfect representation of our day and the memories we have are displayed beautifully in every photo he took. Not only did Jon fit in perfectly with the run up to our wedding and on the special day but the aftercare he gave us to ensure we had the photo album of dreams just tops him off. I would (and have ) recommend Jon Cripwell Photography to every single person I ever talk to about photos, weddings, babies and just when generally talking about good people in the world. I believe that it is a pure representation of how beautiful his photography is when you see that not only us but couples and families go back to him for more and more photo shoots and events for him to be apart of. We chose Jon because of his incredible photography skills, his energetic personality and great price. We would recommend him to any friends we know getting married. My wife and I had Jon as our wedding photographer at the end of 2013 and we couldn't have made a better choice! Throughout every meet with Jon he was very professional and put you at ease the moment you met him. He was organised and efficient during the whole lead up and on the day. We had pre-engagement shoots with him and they were filled with laughter and a great chance to feel less uncomfortable in front of the camera before the big day. On the day itself, Jon and his fellow photographer Ben were very organised and efficient through all the group shots as well as at the portrait shoot. Post wedding we received the photos quicker than we thought we would and just keep looking through them and smiling about such a memorable day.

Fantastic photographer, professional, talented and an all round good guy. Like many others, I had no idea where to start when choosing a wedding photographer. I saw some of his photos online and really liked them, and contacted him. I was relieved by how friendly and open he was, a good communicator, and explained everything I needed to know completely. We first met up for our pre wedding photo shoot, in planning this there were a lot of issues with the weather (we were having it outdoors) and Jon was so flexible and understanding, allowing us to do it on a day when we could get decent shots of us not looking like drowned rats. As for the wedding itself, it was a privilege to have Jon and his assistant Mel around for the whole day. A wedding photographer is likely to be there from first thing in the morning, when you are having your makeup/hair done and getting into your dress, so you need someone who you feel at ease with. Jon is that guy. Always friendly, polite and professional, and also someone you can have a laugh with. He managed to make myself and the bridesmaids feel completely relaxed in the morning whilst snapping away, ensuring he got the shots he knew would work. At the ceremony, more of the same. Always where he needed to be without being intrusive or pushy, getting on well with everyone, getting more awesome photographs. On the way to our reception we stopped off for some photos, I was feeling close to passing out (hadn't drank enough water in the morning as was scared of needing the loo at the ceremony, silly girl) Jon was the person who gave me a drink! At the reception, things were all running a bit late, somehow still managed to organise getting some lovely scenery shots amongst everything else. As well as the 'staged' photos, loads of lovely natural ones of people at the reception. Even though things got very late (so I'm told, I totally lost track of time in all the excitement), Jon and his assistant were there for our last dance and even did some cool shots with clever lighting outside in the dark after that. I am also delighted by how quickly our photos were ready, lots of people I've spoken to who have used other photographers have been in for a seriously long wait. Not with Jon. About a week after we were back from our 2 week Honeymoon, he let us know they were ready. Words cannot describe how much we love the finished results. The photos really tell a story of our day. There are so so many, and they are all so good, the only problem is I have no idea how we are going to choose our favourites. In summary, fantastic. Lovely chap, awesome photos - thank you.

As a performance based Dance Company we are always in need of great photos and have worked with Jon on a number of occasions. Not only are his photos fantastic but he seems to capture a moment when no-one else is looking. When posing for photos Jon helps you feel at ease and relaxed and as a result the photos look natural and not forced. Jon is very easy to work with and listens to what you want as well as doing things that you wouldn’t have thought of. He’s good fun and gets on with everyone which is important as it can be quite nerve-wracking standing in front of a camera. I also booked Jon for my 30th Birthday Party and we had a dress up studio where guests could go and have their picture taken. The props were great and it got people having their photos taken who would normally shy away from it. As a result I got photos of all my guests as well as all the little details that I would’ve forgotten. It was great having pictures of things like table centres and the personal touches that you put so much effort into and then forget to take photos of. I would highly recommend Jon; he’s professional and friendly as well as being a very talented photographer.

We decided to pick Jon Cripwell Photography for our wedding day and it turned out to be one of the best decisions we made during the planning stages. Jon and Anna are both such nice, friendly people. The professionalism shone through whilst making the experience lots of fun and enjoyable. Included in the very reasonably priced package deal, we had an engagement shoot in a brilliant location suggested by Jon (Christmas market in Nottingham) where we had almost 100 superb photos taken. This gave us the opportunity to get to know Jon and Anna, find out how they work and get used to being in front of the camera before the wedding day. During the wedding day Jon started work at the early hours to photograph my bride and the bridesmaids at the hair salon whilst Anna photographed me and my ushers and best man at the church before joining up for photographs of the rest of the day until even way beyond the first dance. We are sooo pleased with the photographs from both the engagement shoot and the wedding day and would recommend them immensly to everyone wanting a photographer for any occasion - Jon Cripwell Photography are absolutely superb!!

We cannot fault the service that we have received from Jon Cripwell. From the point of enquiry Jon has been has been both helpful and professional, taking the time to respond to our many, many questions and having the patience to ensure that things were just the way we had wanted. Our engagement shoot with Jon allowed us to get to know each other and the way that Jon works, and put us completely at ease, particularly when we saw the beautiful photographs that Jon had taken. Neither of us feel naturally at ease in front of a camera and so this was incredibly helpful part of the package. We searched for a photographer for our wedding in December 2012 at Makeney Hall, Derbyshire. After seeing their website and meeting with Jon, we had no doubts at all and booked it there and then! Jon was great, he explained what he was going to do and even asked how we wanted the day to be. Seeing other photographer's at weddings, bossing people around and nobody really knowing what was happening, Jon sorted everything out. We gave him a short list of photo's we wanted and then just left him to it. The app's Jon uses to show you the edited images is great with the images being on there forever and totally free. I would highly recommend Jon Cripwell Photography, very friendly and he even sorted out my wedding present for the 'wife' and wrapped it!!! Great service and great people.

They went above and beyond to ensure that the day went without a hitch, Jon even texting Ben to make sure that the rest of our wedding flowers had made their way to the venue, and Ben coming to the rescue and ferrying the flowers to the venue in his car! I am a newly formed dance business in the area and wanted some promotional work doing to advertise our classes. I heard about Jon through a friend who personally recommended him. I had just under twenty children (under 7 years of age) and not much idea of what I wanted. He worked so well with the children, capturing such natural shots which showed how much fun we have in our dance classes! We also held a small set with one dancer to show the teaching/serious side of the classes and those too have also come out fantastic. We hired Job Cripwell photography for our engagement photos through a bridal forum. As soon as I told him we wanted the shoot at Alton Towers he was very excited and full of enthusiasm which instantly made me like him.
