We were very impressed with the photos that Simon took, especially the candid ones (although the staged photos were also excellent). He has an amazing eye for capturing the moment and finds unusual pictures that are much more fun to look at afterwards. His un-staged pictures provided us with a collection that documents the day as it happened, and allows you to clearly re-live it in full - this is exactly what you want from wedding photos. Check out the photos on his webpage, they are all amazing. Even at a small wedding, Simon is good at blending in to the background and making everyone feel at ease. The photos are of the highest quality, and the whole experience was positive. He made sure to talk to us in advance to get an idea of what we wanted, and prepared in advance to make sure everything went smoothly. Highly recommended.

We hired Simon on the basis of his portfolio of natural, non-staged photos that seemed to capture genuine moments of emotion throughout the day. He delivered just this. Simon is quiet, unobtrusive and somehow managed to be everywhere at once. He is not one for loudly staging large groups of people together, but rather discretely capturing the special moments of your day. If there are particular sets of photos you want, Simon will ensure these are covered. This aside, you can certainly put your trust in him to do what he does best - take highly personal, beautiful photos. Excellent service from beginning (including meeting for a walk around the venue) to the end (sending us a small set of complementary prints and chocolates). Highly recommended, thank you again Simon. Simon is an exceptional and unique wedding photographer. He is well worth every penny we invested in our photos. As bride and groom, there are so many little details you miss on the day, and you're so busy and excited, there are so many others you forget. Simon captures the most important, beautiful moments, so that you can relive every emotion, funny anecdote and memory of the day. He is also very good at the couple shots, especially for people don't like posing! and has a knack for beautiful lighting. Our family and guests have gone crazy for the photos- if they're not printing them for their home, they're making their photos their profile picture or having a laugh looking back at our album on Facebook! I also loved Simon's attention to detail and dedication. He understands newly engaged couples, and made us feel special- from little thank you gifts to cards... it was a wonderful experience working with him from the moment we first contacted him right until the photos were in our hands. We are very happy. Would highly recommend. Book the whole day if budget allows.

Simon is just magical, he captured our wedding day just how we wanted and the photos he has taken are outstanding. My husband and I are not the best in front of a camera but Simon made us feel at ease and comfortable in our day! We wanted someone to tell a story of our wedding, not spend hours smiling in front of a camera. We cannot recommend Simon enough. Having a small, intimate wedding, we were cautious that having a formal photographer might spoil the atmosphere but Simon was extremely discrete, managing to capture it all without us hardly noticing he was there! We absolutely love our photos. Simon has a true talent for capturing natural, subtle moments, with beautiful light, colour and context. Genuine interesting photos, which I personally feel is quite rare in wedding photography! A comment from a guest on seeing the photos: "what a talent to catch so many spontaneous, natural moments and such a range of emotions. It was a brilliant idea to have a variety of settings and the ones of you two - and the crowd scenes, up on the hills contrast wonderfully with the ones of the ceremony and its confetti filled finale.
