We originally met Stuart at a wedding show at Mar hall in 2018. He was funny & charming and we knew then and there we wanted him to photograph our day! Fast forward many many Messages, one global pandemic and 3 rearranged wedding dates later… we finally got our day!! Stuart was absolutely on top form right from the get go! Needed a plaster to stick something in my shoe, he has one to hand! Mother of the bride forgot the crochet hook for my dress… Boom Stuart had one in his bag! Not only did he capture our day absolutely beautifully, he was a welcome face getting all the best smiles and giggles out of even the grumpiest of guests!! If asked, would I recommend 1500 Photography I would 1000% say yes! We have not yet been able To pick photos for our album as there are far too many beautiful ones to choose from! Thank you so much for capturing so many special moments we can cherish forever!

When we were planning our wedding I had no idea where to start when it came to finding a photographer, 1500 photography were recommended to us and they didn't disappoint. Stuart was so approachable and nothing was too much bother. On the day of the wedding I hardly knew he was there! Having been to weddings where the photographs have taken so long that things have run late, I was worried this might happen but Stuart being the professional that he is had the photographs completed quickly and with ease meaning we had more time to spend with our guests. The photographs themselves were fantastic! It was such a hard decision to chose the ones for our album. Would recommend 1500 photography to anyone planning their wedding.

We spent a considerable amount of time deliberating over the perfect photographer for our wedding day. From modern hipsters who wanted to snap us in colour against black and white backdrops, to classic ‘the bridesmaids are stunners, give us a wink’ blokes with sets of ladders! We chose 1500 because of the attention to detail. When we met Stuart prior to booking, we felt like we really clicked. He put us at ease (and bought us coffee) and showed us really broad range of his work. With arrangements in place (and a couple more meetings at the venue), Stuart and Gillian simply appeared on the day like a modern day Mr Ben. Snapping candid shots and fixing our buttonhole flowers, making everyone feel relaxed without intruding upon the family day. The quality of the pictures was outstanding and my Wife still spends a concerning amount of time looking at our album two years later. We exchanged a number of emails while we chose the perfect pictures for our album and we were ecstatic on the night we met Stuart and Gillian to receive our album and digital shots. I can’t recommend this team highly enough. Unless you’re looking for pictures where you’re being chased by dinosaurs, you probably want a guy with some ladder for that :)

When my wife and I got engaged, we were given an engagement shoot with 1500 Photography by our good friends. From the day we had that shoot, there was no question. Stuart very quickly makes what can be a quite awkward situation, posing for photographs, very comfortable. His skill in quickly building rapport and people skills, coupled with his utmost professionalism make 1500 immediately stand out from the rest. Stuart controlled the wedding day photography, which can be a challenge, with family and friends having their own ideas and aspirations for being involved. Something that could be a sensitive situation for the bride & groom to deal with, is taken away from our responsibility, which added hugely to our enjoyment of the day. Stuart then hand delivered our proposed wedding album, which was almost perfect. He was not precious about some changes we (my wife) wanted to make, and the end result was absolutely stunning. We would and have recommended 1500 to anyone.

We saw an example of a 1500 Photography at our wedding hotel. Loved the album so after meeting Stuart we booked him for our wedding. Stuart and Gillian were excellent on the day, and happy to do anything for a great photo even stand in the middle of a mucky farm in the middle of December! We were so pleased with the service that we received, we have booked a few family photo sessions over the years with our children. We would definitely recommend 1500 Photography.

We were delighted with the service we received from 1500 Photography both before and during the wedding, and with our final album and photos. Stuart was extremely professional, friendly and organised throughout. He met us at our venue a few weeks before the wedding to discuss what photos we wanted and how he could best use the features of the venue to get some great shots. He really has an eye for using the landscape and architectural features to get the best results and this is evidenced in our photos (and lots of his other ones!). On the day he did a great job of herding all the guests for group photos so it didn’t take up too much time. Our photos were ready to view before we came back from our honeymoon and we were delighted with the results. Our album is of very high quality and the photos are a great mix of group shots and reportage with Stuart’s creativity. We are so glad we chose 1500 Photography. We could not recommend them highly enough. Our album is the perfect, professional reminder of our wonderful day.

Wedding Photographer - First Class One of the big questions that require an answer, once you decide on a date and a venue, is which photographer to go with. We chose 1500 Photography and would thoroughly recommend Stuart and Gillian to anyone looking for a fantastic photography team for your own big day. From the pre wedding meeting at the venue a few months before the wedding, until the arrival of our photos, the service provided by 1500 was a cut above. The photo galleries on their website speak for themselves, but they can't convey how positive an impact Stuart and Gillian can make on your own big day. We were rather specific in the shots that we wanted (large family who all wanted a photo for the wall!), but nothing was too much trouble and I can't believe the amount of shots that we managed to capture over the course of a busy day! One key skill to look for in a wedding photographer is the ability to take command of the situation on a day where there is a lot going on - Stuart hits the nail on the head perfectly, directing the couple, friends and family into the relevant poses but always with a smile and a quip. Just as an example of 1500 going the extra mile: A few hours after Stuart and Gillian had left the venue, we were chatting with our guests whilst the ballroom was being turned around. Stuart and Gillian reappeared with a camera still of the sunset that was going on outside and asked whether we would like to nip out and try and capture some more photo with the incredible sky as a backdrop. There was no need for them to do that, indeed they had more than done a day's work, but thinking about how my wife and I might like the end product they came all the way back to the venue to ask us. As stated above - first class.

My wife and me compared several photographers via internet before our wedding. 1500 Photography was the best choice we could made! One point are the pictures. We looked at some websites from different photographers. On the one hand you find photographers which take pictures that look like snapshots with your mobile and on the other hand you find photographers which "photoshop" your wedding to a day that never happend. We don't want that. So 1500 is a great choice for people who want realy professional but natural pictures. If you see them you will know what we mean. The other point is the team from 1500 Photography. Because you share one of the most important days in your life with persons you didn't knew before. So you don't need people who just could take some good pictures but has not the sensitivness you need for all the people and challenges on such a special day. The team from 1500 photography is friendly, polite and very funny. They are realy professional and attend you through the day. In most cases you don't notice them but get great memorys of your special day. You realize the years of experience. 1500 also mastered the challenge with a whole German family which didn't speak any English. 5 Stars for 1500 photography! Thanks a lot for the great pictures and the lovely memorys!

Amazing wedding photographer! We hired Stuart for our wedding at Rowallan castle in July of 2022. We were originally scheduled to get married June of 2021 but had to delay a year due to COVID and Stuart was more than accommodating which helped relieve a massive amount of stress in a super stressful situation. Prior to the big day he was great about staying in touch and was super receptive to all of our requests for the day of. The day of the wedding he was quick to take charge and happily played the role of 'bad guy' trying to corral unruly friends and relatives. His humor and relaxed style put me at ease throughout the day. Stuart credits himself as being a photographer for people who hate to get their pictures taken and I can attest that is a true statement. He was also super efficient which meant less time taking photos and more time enjoying the day. Our wedding photos turned out beautifully and he helped frame an amazing photobook to document the day. I would 100% recommend 1500 Photography.
