A male staff(sorry, I forgot the name)with the words "SONY" on the overalls kindly introduced the performance of the camera and recommended the camera and lens to me. I chose Sony and they give me extended card!! Very nice experience!!!!!!Thanks to him.

I was served initially by Alec (I think). The following day I phoned the store with some more questions and spoke to Ben. Unfortunately, due to the logistics of getting back to the store I ended up buying from Jessops on line. There prices are as competitive as the likes of Amazon. Even if they were a few pounds more I would still prefer buying from Jessops. If we do not support the high street shops this expertise will not be available

I bought an instax printer after having gone in to just develop some old film rolls. I was thinking of buying an instax camera, but after speaking to the sales person, I came to a decision I’m not regretting.

I. R. S.I visited my local branch of Jessops in Sauchiehall St in Glasgow with my Fuji MX1 camera. I was hoping that a member of the staff might have an idea of what the problem was and how to resolve it. The staff member Jo, tried everything she could think of to fix it, but like myself, eventually had to admit defeat and arranged to send camera back to Fuji for repair. Although she couldn't fix the camera, she was so interested and friendly and keen to assist, I was very impressed. Having worked in the retail sector for 35 years till I retired, I thought that she was a great advert for Jessops!!
T. K.Jessops, next to Buchanan Galleries retail complex has the latest image technology, well displayed and able to handle the cameras laid out with descriptions make the experience good. Staff seem very knowledgeable and are eager to give you as much info as you need to Know. I left the store with a Lumix digital camera and a load of extras so I am goin to be busy studying up on getting the best from it.

You can get things at little cheaper online at times, but I prefer the peace of mind of shopping here. I can pick up major equipment purchases in person, and I have some where to go if there is any problems.
L.I've had many years of great service and always helpful staff when I needed help, it's a great place that does exactly what it says so I'd recommend them for developing prints, buying any equipment or just needing to ask for advice on any products. Everyone is always happy to help.
n. l.Visited on Monday and Tuesday this week looking to buy a new camera. Had done some research on-line but frankly was bamboozled by the sheer volume of technical info on new cameras, most of which I did not understand and was fairly certain I would not need.Was served by a very helpful assistant called Adam who spent endless time explaining and demonstrating the type of camera I thought I wanted. I then went off for a think and to see what else was on offer elsewhere returning later to Jessops having had a complete rethink. Adam then spent a similar period going over another type of camera. I left for an overnight mull-over. Tuesday morning I made the purchase Adam even helping with the footery start up bits.
An excellent camera buying experience and I am very happy with my choice..

Engage with the staff and talk to them, don't be afraid if you're not really sure about what you're looking for they are there to help and if you are patient (because sometimes they are flat out) then you will benefit from a wealth of experience from their team!
E. 4.Problem with my 2 week old Nikon D3300, I was quite concerned about taking it back as reviews on customer service were worrying, however the manager was excellent and replaced my camera straight away. also the gentleman who works for Sony within the shop was incredibly helpful.... Thank you

S. P.Seems well stocked, but it's a small shop. I couldn't get looking at what I wanted to because of the lack of space and amount of people in there. Staff didn't seem to notice me as they were chatting amongst themselves.
