We had asked for candid pictures and not to be away too long from our guests and John carried that out perfectly with a great mixture of natural shots while still having pictures with all the important people in them. I could honestly sing John Clarks praises all day. This guy is an outstanding photographer. We recently had our photos back and were blown away. They are amazing. We had some quick posing shots and got on with enjoying our day, we didn’t realise John was there taking photos. The natural photos are insane! We had our wedding during lockdown in November 2020. John was great with us and was really flexible with what we wanted to do when the rules changed about a week before the wedding! We spoke to John before the wedding about the day and we both had a blast! He made it really fun and had lots of ways to make everyone feel more comfortable in front of the camera. After the wedding, John kept us up to date with how our photos were coming along and even sent us a sample of photos the same day. We received a photo album, a box with photos and a memory stick with all of the photos on it from the day, which were all great quality. The From the minute we started chatting it was like talking to a friend and we were completely at ease. John just slotted into our day and he felt like a friend mingling with our guests rather than being there to photograph them. The pictures we have of our wedding day are amazing, it really has captured every little detail and even now, months after the wedding, I still can't stop looking at them. John went above and beyond for us, having a pre wedding photo shoot on the wettest, wildest day in Ayrshire. We climbed hills and slid back down them, all the while laughing. And the photos captured are more than I could have ever imagined. Then when it came to the wedding, we had to pull everything forward with only a few days notice due to Covid restrictions. John was so amazing during the craziness of rearranging everything. He was really easy to get in touch with and quick at replying, he made sure he was there on our new date to capture it. John is a very friendly individual who made who day all the more special, we had a zoom call before hand were he asked what sort of photos in particular we preferred, took notes on what we wished for and pitched many insightful ideas for both couple and group photos etc and on the day he delivered a great service, his great friendly nature mingling with everybody whilst busy snapping away, his professionalism reflected on the countless amazing pictures he’s captured of our special day. We have just got our wedding photos back much earlier than expected and we are so overwhelmed with how they’ve turned out we don’t know how to express our gratitude to John for capturing our day so brilliantly! Even organising our very own indoor confetti tunnel which was just awesome! They say a brides worst nightmare is rain on her wedding day but it definitely wasn’t mine! Who needs dry weather! One of our favourite photos is a shot John managed to capture of us outside in the rain and pitch black! Genius and just stunning! We are delighted that at the moments that John has frozen in time for us to always look back on, without us even being aware that he was there! He seemed to have the knack of making us and our guests absolutely laugh our heads off which has made for some amazing photos and added to the overall enjoyment of the day. From the start John was friendly, helpful and nothing was a bother for him, even after having to change dates multiple times due to COVID, On the day he knew exactly what he was doing, he made everyone feel at ease and made everyone laugh, everyone in my photos look so relaxed and happy all thanks to John, After the wedding John’s wife Jackie came to help and she was just as lovely, John took us a wander round the city centre and our photos couldn’t have turned out any better, he knows exactly how to get a good shot and how to get us laughing so all our photos look amazing!! We can’t thank John enough for our photos, we would recommend him to everyone and we’ll definitely be using him in the future.
