My husband and I used Gilbert for our wedding 2 weeks ago and from the initial contact have been really happy with everything. Communication throughout the planning process was great. The photos are beautiful and relieved very quick- we got some sneak peaks the next day! As someone who hates her photo being taken I felt at ease on the day and actually enjoyed the whole day. Really glad we chose this photographer. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend for others.

He's 100% professional, friendly and most importantly for us personally, he's unobtrusive and catches the candid and intimate moments rather than the awkward, posed wedding photos of the past. He is super helpful, approachable, and most invaluable, his work, editing and attention to detail is second to none. We booked Gilbert for our wedding photography, he's such a lovely guy who is always on hand to help and answer any questions. We met with him for a coffee and a chat before our wedding, which i thought was a great touch as it let him get to know us better as a couple and let us be more at ease with him on the day. Honestly couldn’t recommend Gilbert enough! Not only are the pictures fab he listens to all your needs, myself and my now husband can’t be serious for too long for staged photos and love a laugh so requested for mostly candid shots and that’s exactly what we got and it’s so lovely going through the pictures and knowing there’s a story behind every one especially the ones we didn’t even notice you taking and reliving those times again🤣 The photos are such great quality and you really have a talent for capturing the best moments, as soon as you sent us the first couple of highlight photos and we saw how amazing they were we couldn’t wait to get the rest and they definitely did not disappoint You made us feel so relaxed and at ease and we couldn’t have chose anyone better to capture the memories from our big day Thank you so much x

Any chance I get to leave a review for Gilbert I take it! When me and my husband got married during the lockdown Gilbert was more than helpful, he adjusted to us and what the rules allowed , I had a lot of family and friends that had to wait outside and watch the wedding on a video feed and Gilbert captured every emotion of the day - from my husband and brother in law waiting outside to me arriving to our family and friends outside waiting on us. When we booked with Gilbert we even managed a mini shoot with our little girl and they pictures are something we treasure! Any of my friends who are engaged I always ALWAYS recommend Gilbert. Everyone that was pictured by him at our wedding said about how lovely he was.

Finally I am getting round to leaving a review. What can I say. Gilbert has been nothing but perfect for the whole time since we booked. We booked pre covid and he was always in touch throughout our cancellations/rebooking/any questions I had. Nothing was a problem for either side changing dates 3 times. We had a special pre photo shoot and he made us feel so relaxed and the photos prove this as they are so natural and not posed. Bridal prep at my mothers home was even very easy for him surprisingly with all my (bonkers) bride tribe. The same throughout our big day. I had happy tears every time I was sent a few. I wanted to relive the day I got married. He captured all of our guests at their most natural/ emotional and happiest moments. I cannot recommend Gilbert enough. He will always be the photographer I will recommend. The whole family loved his company and professionalism. Thank you Gilbert once again for everything. xXx
