Where do I start? I’m writing this after only receiving 10 sample pictures of our wedding over the weekend of June 11 2022. I’m writing now because despite what any of our future pictures turn out like the experience with Cat was beyond compare. Cat felt like part of the family and blended in as if she’d known us for years. The preparation period was so easy and she was so brilliant accommodating our “mostly candid” request. Her recommendations for our wedding plan and timings were beyond helpful. We cannot thank you enough, and we cannot recommend you enough. Her positivity and bright bubbly energy was perfect for our day. We had 10 exquisite pictures back the day after (so quick) and we can’t wait for the rest. She glided around our day with ease, controlling and guiding when needed but mostly just effortlessly blending in capturing gorgeous moments. We consider you a friend after this weekend and truly believe no one else could have done half as good a job as you. What a wonderful creative artist you are! Thank you endlessly Heather and Alex

I can't say enough wonderful things about Cat. From the first time I spoke with her, I knew our wedding photos were going to be in wonderful hands. Due to various COVID restrictions, we didn't actually meet Cat in person until the day itself but Cat arranged a couple of conversations beforehand via zoom which were super helpful in getting to know each other. It made my husband and I feel completely at ease, as we were both slightly nervous about having our photo taken. On the day itself, Cat was so kind, made us feel super relaxed and managed to capture all the special moments from our micro wedding. Some of the candid shots we have are so special and I don't even remember Cat being around when they were taken. All our guests, commented how lovely Cat was and I think her warm personality and the way she put everyone at ease really resonates in the photos. We now have such wonderful memories of our special day. Everyone we have shown has commented on how fantastic the photos are. It's truly going to be a challenge to select which ones to put up! I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Cat, a lovely person who made our day so special, capturing memories that will last a lifetime.

We are so glad we decided to have Cat as our wedding photographer who we found from a web search which took us to her website. It was immediately obvious that she knew what she was doing with a camera. On contacting Cat she was warm and welcoming and suggested we had a video call to discuss our options. From there the communication continued via email and we had another video call to agree the finer details for our big day. On the day Cat just blended in, in an almost 'behind the scenes' manner and captured some really nice moments. We are so pleased with every photograph Cat took and we would highly recommend Cat for any wedding. We have since received our USB with all our photos on and even that was so well presented and unique. We are so so happy that we chose Cat and Richard to photograph our wedding in November! They were absolutely amazing and made us feel so at ease, working around the early loss of light in November, coming up with some fantastic photo ideas and accommodating every request that we had. Cat joined me whilst I was getting ready with the Bridesmaids and Richard joined Rob at home meaning we both got photos leading right up the the ceremony even though we were a fair few miles apart! We have had so many amazing comments about the photos with people mentioning that they didn't even know Cat and Richard were there, they took the photos so naturally that people did not feel under pressure in front of the camera. When looking through a photographer’s portfolio ask yourself: Do the images resonate with you? When looking through Cat’s portfolios and examples of wedding folios, it was obvious to us that Cat had real talent for capturing the emotional moments – a kiss, an embrace, a look, smiles & laughter and the small details that often as a couple you’ll miss. We spoke with Cat about our preferences of a more relaxed, candid documentary style approach, with elements of our quirky, playful nature. With Cat, everything felt so easy and ultimately we felt we had a genuine connection with her and her style. After all, you have to get on, as any photographer will form such a crucial part in your big day. Where Cat really shone was on the day itself. From the moment Cat arrived to photograph the bridal preparations, Cat was so friendly and had a calm, yet confident way of making sure our photograph wish list was underway. We had the pleasure of Cat and Rich at our intimate wedding that took place at the end of October and we are so happy we got to have them both there to capture our day! We were originally due to get married back in April but had to reschedule our plans when the pandemic struck. Cat was so accommodating and supportive when we made the difficult decision to change our original venue to a smaller venue further away (that they'd never even been to before the actual day!). We loved the artistic style of wedding photos that we'd seen Cat previously take and the results of ours didn't disappoint! Having considerably fewer people at our wedding than originally planned it has been extra lovely to share photos with family and friends that captured the magic of our day and all the special little moments! The video that Rich took for us also turned out amazing! We were worried a video might end up seeming a bit cheesy but it was edited in such a classy style and complimented the photos so well. They are truly a great team to have there on your wedding day and their enthusiasm for their work shone through and made us feel very comfortable in their hands. We were so pleased we found Cat she is a fantastic photographer and when we spoke to her for the first time on Skype her honesty, passion and genuine nature shone through. We knew she was the person we wanted to photograph our wedding. She made us feel totally relaxed and at ease with her calm style. Cat is such a professional. We chose her to photograph our wedding in May and we couldn't have chosen better. She was so lovely and helpful when we met at a local wedding fayre, and her work so beautiful, we knew she was the right fit. Getting it right for us was really important to her and this came through in how carefully she listened to us. Equally, Rich's videography was fantastic too, encapsulating all the key moments of our special day! They are both incredibly down to earth and will make you feel at ease on what is probably the most nerve-racking and the most exciting day of your life. A work colleague shared Cat Beardsley photography's post to me on Facebook and having looked at her portfolio, we were very interested in finding out more as we were looking for a photographer for our wedding. I messaged Cat and we arranged to meet to go over what we wanted and find out more. When you book Cat you also get her husband Rich too. This is lovely and means you get both bride and groom morning shots. I didn't realise how important that was until after we were married to be able to get a look into his morning and he got to get a look at my morning. You get to see missing pieces of a big day. Our main concern was achieving natural photos, and feeling comfortable and Cat and Rich were so friendly and easy to get along with conversation was natural and instantly we came away knowing we wanted them to photograph our wedding day. The price is great for 2 photographers. They take candid natural photographs capturing precious memories and moments throughout the day. They blend into the background and our guests were relaxed and unaware they were being photographed. They handled my long list of group shots well working as a team to get them done efficiently. It's a long time to stand still as a bride! Our couple photo shoot was easy going. I felt completely at ease and the results are stunning for us to keep forever. They worked all day and resulted in a huge amount of photos for us to treasure. The day goes by so fast but looking at the photos almost feels like we are back there again. We love the natural and artistic style of their photography and fully recommend them to anyone who wants down to earth, professional photographers who blend into your day and make you feel comfortable.
