We were extremely fortunate to have Tom film our wedding in September 2021, we are absolutely blown away by the quality of video's he has produced to capture our special day. Not only is he extremely professional and experienced in cinematography knowing how to truly capture the best moments possible he is also a very nice guy who was an absolute pleasure to work with from start to finish. I cannot recommend Tom's services highly enough for any couples looking for the perfect videographer to capture their special day, 5 stars doesn't justify how happy we were with Tom if we could rate higher we would!!

We booked Tom as our videographer for our wedding in March 2022 and it was honestly such a fantastic experience. Toms attention to detail is amazing, and in addition he was a pleasure to be around all day. He made us feel so comfortable. Once we received our video, genuinely we were blown away, not only did he capture all the main parts, but also the little moments he captured were so so special and how it was all edited together - the whole video just let us re live the day! If you are debating to get a videographer or not - 100% do it and book Tom, I really could not recommend him enough! Thank you Tom for the best keep sake for our wedding day.

From the initial emails, right through to after the wedding, Tom has been absolutely fantastic. The booking process couldn't have been easier, due to the variety of packages offered (which were reasonably priced), as well as Tom's prompt and detailed responses to any questions I had. A few weeks before the wedding day we met to go through the final details, and even talking to him then put our mind at ease. He was polite and friendly, which our wedding guests also commented on, and he seemed to get along with everyone. I was worried I might feel awkward being filmed but Tom is clearly experienced and did a great job at blending into the background, shooting some great footage of everyone just being theirselves. Tom provided our Wedding Videography in November 2021 and we are both absolutely blown away by our Videos. We purchased the Short and Sweet package as we didn't have a huge budget but it was worth every single penny we paid and more. Tom was really easy to deal with, answered all of our queries promptly and was very professional throughout. During the day, Tom was brilliant - we barely realised he was there most of the time and he managed to capture all the best moments perfectly. There were some issues with the venue and drone usage but Tom rectified this straight away - going above and beyond his duty to ensure we didn't miss out. If you are looking for a reasonably priced Videographer, Midgley Wedding Cinematography is the definitely the best choice and I can't recommend the service enough. Thank you Tom for capturing our special day so beautifully so we'll always have our precious video to look back on.

Tom covered our wedding in April this year, he has produced 4 totally amazing films covering virtually every element of our day, the finished films are perfect in every way! Tom managed to capture all of the emotions so well - I was in tears (of joy) within 90 seconds of the start of our feature film. I couldn't recommend Tom more highly if I tried. I was quite nervous of being filmed throughout the bridal party preparations, but within 5 minutes of Tom & Brad arriving i had totally forgotten that they were there. We almost didn't have a wedding film, as neither of us were too fussed. With the wonder of hindsight, changing our minds and booking Tom was one of the best decisions we made with regard to our wedding plans. Tom was really helpful and easy to work with through the lead up to the wedding, and on the day itself. His flexibility and relaxed approach meant we could bounce ideas off him during planning and we had no need to worry about his role, as we knew he would take care of things. Working with both Lauri and Tom meant that all the important aspects of the day were captured in great quality and we could just go about the day as we liked - no need for multiple takes, everything was natural and free-flowing. Absolutely outstanding service! Our wedding video is just perfect, like a film, the music, the still and slow moving shots, the sunset, the drone views, the way the speeches and music play alongside the video, it’s just mesmerising and perfect. So many memories captured, and all the little things you often don’t see on the day. We weren’t sure at first if we wanted a videographer, but honestly it’s probably one of the most important things, above everything it’s a lasting memory forever. Tom was fab, we hardly knew he was with us all day, so polite, and nothing was too much. He pays so much attention to every detail, makes sure everything is just perfect. Best videographer experience we could have wished for. Delightful to deal with from start to finish, easily contactable, attentive, competitively priced, my praise could go on. The quality of the video wouldn't have looked out of place at a box office movie premiere with clearly the highest quality equipment used. He stays discreet and in the background during your wedding and was totally unnoticeable throughout the day. The only downside is that I can't use them again as don't plan on getting married again! ** If funds allow, Midgley Wedding Cinematograpy is an absolute must for your wedding! ** I'll start at the beginning...we had dreamt of having a videographer at our wedding to capture our special day but decided pretty early on that it was an unnecessary expense and that we couldn't really afford to book another supplier. We left the door open a crack in case we could find the funds to book a videographer and, after months of deliberation, we found and contacted Tom at Midgley Wedding Cinematography. He was the last supplier that we booked and I worried a lot about the additional expense at a time when costs were already running into multiple thousands of pounds and it felt like we were spending money quicker than we could earn it! I was unsure for weeks whether we'd made the right decision but, since the day we met Tom, I have been nothing but overhwhelmed by his professionalism and skill. He was polite, kind hearted, seemed to care genuinely about us as people and clients, and has an innate passion and flare for what he does. On the wedding day, Tom and Lee were a delight to work with and helped us to feel special, looked after, and generally on top of the world! Capturing the video footage didn't take away for a second from our special day and I can't put into words what a fantastic investment the cinematography was. Now that the dust has settled, we're settling into married life, and the intricate memories of our day have faded surprisingly quickly, our wedding video helps to bring those memories flooding back. We have watched the feature film about 50 times and clap, cheer, and cry every time! We have loved every second of showing it to friends and family and I wish I could describe just how beautifully put together it is. Tom and Lee captured every part of our special day and have worked it into the most stunning product that is a beautiful work of art. We are grateful to have also had an outstanding photographer on board for the wedding but still photographs can only say so much. To hear our speeches back, listen to our vows and the sincerity with which they were said, listen to the music we chose, hear the church readings again, see moments on film that we didn't even get to see ourselves on the day, and so much more that is caught on film is just priceless. It is ironic that Tom was the last supplier that we booked and has turned out to be single handedly the best investment of our wedding. Tom advertises as 'cinematography' rather than videography and, in our opinion, it is exactly that. It is different to, more emotive than, and more beautifully crafted than standard videography and our feature and highlights films have been cut with flare, care, passion, and skill. We can't thank Tom and Lee enough for their brilliant work that will help us to remember our special day forever. In the words of John Cooper, time goes by faster than you can imagine and we are so SO glad we made the difficult decision to capture it on video.

We were looking for videographers who could story tell, whilst capturing those all important small and intimate moments and more importantly capture who we were and what we were all about. My wife and I would highly recommend Thomas Midgley as a videographer. In the build up to the wedding Thomas was very flexable and attentive to our needs, as we are currently living in London we sometimes struggled to have a window of opportunity to meet Thomas when we were in Yorkshire on wedding duties, but Thomas was able to work around it and was very thorough with his communication, from start to finish. Even when at one point, due to clash of dates, we thought we might not be able to use Thomas, he was so thoughtful to even offer to help us find someone else as a replacement. Fortunately for us this was not the case and we were able to go ahead with him and we are so very glad we did. He and his friend Lowry did a great job of capturing the day and we had great fun with whilst doing so. The final product is simply amazing, ourselves and our families have watched the wedding video time and time again and it really brings everything back to us to help relive the day over. It has also been nice being able to share the video with those who were not able to make the day and we are glad we went with him. We would definitely recommend him to anyone who is thinking of a wedding videographer and I'll definitely be using him for my second wedding :) Mr and Mrs Erwood
