Right from the start, Chris was approachable, friendly and a had good sense of humour. He was a pleasure to have at our Wedding in October 2021. He did an amazing job - and was even a little hero at certain points during the day. He is clearly very experienced when it comes to wedding photography and helped in many different ways. Chris has a relaxed style and is happy to listen to what you want but also able to be a 'fly on the wall', creating some amazing photos of your big day. Thank you Chris!

We couldn’t have asked for a better wedding photographer. My husband and I are not very photogenic or confident in front of the camera but Chris made us feel so at ease and directed us through everything. Chris was so much more than a photographer for our wedding - we knew we needed to book him within five minutes of meeting him. Incredibly friendly, phenomenal photos and super easy to work with. Chris' wedding experience is very clear and he used it through out the day to help in a variety of ways as well as make us feel comfortable with the day (and not just for the photos). For both our engagement shoot and wedding, Chris turned around the photos on short timescales without losing any of the quality. His documentary style captures all of the moments (including those you didn't notice on the day) whilst giving absolutely stunning photos. Friends and family have all commented on how great Chris was during the day and we didn't feel like he was intrusive at all. Chris was also very supportive throughout the pandemic with re-scheduling and suggesting that we do our engagement shoot on our original wedding date (his birthday!) - turned a sad day into a great, memorable one. Having got married recently at the third attempt (COVID!), we would highly recommend Chris. The pre-wedding shoot arranged by Chris was superb as we both got some lovely photos but also got to know Chris a bit better, making us much more used to his style and approach on the wedding day. On the wedding day itself, Chris and his assistant Darren worked tirelessly over a very long hot day, taking so many different photos of us and our guests, that when edited down have given us lots of fantastic photos for ourselves and to share with our guests to remember our special day. We really appreciated the non-obtrusive, relaxed and friendly approach by Chris and Darren making sure that all of us were relaxed and didn't feel the photography was intruding on our day. Having now seen the end results, we are so glad we chose Chris as we were looking for a less formal, candid set of photos from our day. Our guests have also commented on how good Chris and Darren were and they were both also very helpful in keeping our 6 month old baby happy and distracted!

We’d really umm’d and aaah’d about whether to have a professional photographer and had actually gone to the ‘Wedding Fair’ looking for ideas for favours, but came away with a business card for “Christopher Bunce Photography”, what a superb meeting that turned out to be...! We saw Chris on his stand & instantly noticed his unique talent for reportage style photography & capturing ‘moments’. He has a fantastic eye for composition, and along with his modern post-production style and skills, we knew these were exactly what we wanted for our day. For us, it’s not the formal photos that remind you how great your day was – it’s the natural events, fun and excitement & little things that are so important to be documented. A few days later we visited Chris at his studio & over a cup of coffee, very quickly realised that his friendly, approachable personality along with his enthusiasm, knowledge and clear passion for photography and ability to constantly think in a creative manner whilst always considering the clients wishes made him shine out amongst the crowd, and we had every faith that he would be perfect for our day, so our decision to go ahead & appoint was an easy one. Chris was an absolute pleasure to work with, he took the time to get to know us, listened to our likes and dislikes prior to the Reception, so that on the day he made us feel special, and we had loads of fun, he made us feel relaxed and comfortable in front of the camera and was discreet whilst also being authoritative when he needed to be. Chris’s ability not to miss a moment is incredible, and his energy and passion comes across in the photos, we loved his calm nature and ability to blended amongst the guests effortlessly, so well in fact that they hardly realised they were being photographed. From the day we booked Chris, through the preparations for our wedding to the big day, he has been absolutely brilliant to work with. On the day, Chris and Ania were incredible, working in tandem to ensure they captured as much of our day as possible. Their personalities, friendliness and warmth meant they felt more like one of our guests than a supplier and all of our guests said the same. Chris photographed our wedding in August 2019. As soon as we met Chris we felt at ease, for people like us who don’t really like having their photographs taken we knew we had to get the right photographer and Chris was exactly that. He made us feel really comfortable and we loved his style of photography. From start to finish Chris was super helpful and on the day was absolutely brilliant! Cannot thank him enough. Chris is an incredible photographer! We knew the minute we saw his work at a wedding fair that we were interested in working with him - looking at his website and talking to him only confirmed this. Wow... I couldn't be happier with our prewedding and wedding day photos. Chris makes you feel instantly comfortable in front of the Camera, we went from not kissing in public hardly ever, to being completely comfortable with kissing for photographs. He has some great techniques for genuine laughter and dissolving the awkwardness of gazing into someone's eyes! Chris was photographer at our wedding last year. I don't have the words to recommend him highly enough but I will try to. If you want: - classic photographs that are also modern and fresh; - a photographer with a creative flair who listens to and responds to your needs and wants; - someone who doesn't interrupt your day but still manages to capture all the moments (and more) you wanted to be captured; - some who blends into your celebration and builds a fantastic rapport with all of your guests... Then please book Chris. A couple of stand out moments from me were that we'd spent ages trying to put together timings for the day but in one of our meetings with Chris, he helped us figure out a relastic plan of timings within about half an hour! His experience and advice in that stage of wedding was invaluable. He was also incredibly fun to be around on the morning getting ready and more useful than any of my seven bridesmaids! Would highly recommend Chris for wedding photography. We met him a few months prior and he knew exactly what we wanted for our smaller, informal wedding day. A few weeks before he also came to meet us at the venue to have a look around. Chris put everyone at ease, including those who dislike having their photograph taken. He helped out massively on the day, fetching me (the bride) a drink and even helping with a tricky dress! We are over the moon with our photographs from the day, and Chris kindly sent us a preview slide show whilst we were on honeymoon only 3 or 4 days after the wedding day which was very exciting and lovely. 5 stars, would recommend!

Chris did such an amazing job of the photographs for our wedding – I really don’t know where to start! As soon as he walked through the door he became part of ‘team bride’ – offering out plasters and safety pins, and even giving advice on buttonhole placement and tips on walking down the aisle! He was like an extra bridesmaid – on hand when required but silently snapping away when we weren’t even aware! I think that’s the best part about the images we received back from Chris; although we had the typical formal posed photo arrangements too, the majority of the photos were taken candidly when we didn’t even notice Chris was shooting! These images really captured the feeling and emotions of the day in a documentary style, which was lovely for the groom and I to look back on because we were so focused on being nervous/making the day run smoothly that we hadn’t noticed the excitement and joy on other people’s faces! The turn-around time was ridiculously fast – we had sneak-peek of around 30 photos just two days after our wedding which was ideal because so many people were asking us to show them some pictures! We then had another preview set around a week after the wedding and the full set of over 400 images for five hours coverage three weeks after. All photos received were amazing quality and there is not one bad photo in the bunch! We really could not recommend Chris enough – if we ever need a photographer again he’s our guy!

I have had numerous people from our wedding comment on how professional, friendly and genuinely nice people chris and martin are. They blended in like they were guests at our wedding and also were on hand to help (with his magic box of tricks) with button holes/ veils/ hair and much much more. Chris has a great eye for taking stunning, dramatic and very modern looking photos and really knows what he is doing but not only does he take amazing photos, he is also a top bloke. We were lucky enough for Chris to photograph our wedding in August this year, and I have to say throughout the whole thing he was absolutely brilliant. From the outset it was very important to us that we felt comfortable with who we asked to be our photographer, and after meeting several other people, on a personal level we both decided pretty quickly on Chris. Throughout the day and the run up he was great, communicated well, was excited for us, and even helped to organise and dress a group of men in dire need of direction and tips! What was nice for us to hear was how complementary our friends and family were about Chris, without us even asking their thoughts. He really got into the spirit of things, he wanted to take great photos and we wanted great photos and after seeing his work from the day we were delighted with what he took. One of his strengths is his clear love for photography and ability to constantly think in a creative manner, outside the box. Chris’s appearance on the day was also a picture: starting with us early in the morning looking fresh and smart, and by the end of the evening when he left us he had the appearance of a man who had used a huge amount of energy and enthusiasm for our benefit, with a dedication that he didn’t have to show. What Chris did was put his heart and energy into our day and we can’t thank him or recommend him enough to anyone thinking of using him. We cannot speak highly enough of him or his role in the day, before, during and after. We would also like to thank Lucy Lloyd who helped Chris on the day, she too was brilliant throughout and they worked very well as a team, capturing ourselves and our guests in what for us was the most important day of our lives to date. Our wedding day honestly wouldn't have been as perfect if we hadn't had Chris there with us. He was a constant calming influence helping to keep everything moving along smoothly and efficiently. He was not just a photographer, but so much more. Your'e not just hiring a photographer, but also a coordinator, handyman, mechanic and fashion adviser. Before the wedding every time we met to organise, everything was very natural and focused on exactly what we wanted, with him giving us advise and guidance for what would be best, but not forcing his own opinion on us either. As a couple who do not feel comfortable in front of a camera, he somehow made sure we didn't feel self conscious, and even had fun doing it! Chris has helped us out twice now and both times he has been brilliant. In the first instance, we were looking for a photographer to come and record profiles of our associates for the website. Chris arrived on time with a plethora of kit and provided us with the finished product well ahead of schedule.
