Our Bluebell Wood photo shoot was amazing. Without hesitation I would recommend Helen. The photographs that she has taken of our little baby boy were just beautiful and she really captured his little cheeky personality. She made all of us feel at ease and completely comfortable in front of the lens and is so lovely and natural with children that they can't help but smile at her. I feel like we were extremely lucky to have found Helen, especially at such short notice when she is normally fully booked. Making the original contact was easy and she responded very quickly with everything we needed to know. We then had a meeting with Helen to go through the details and we were so impressed with how easy she was to work with and talk to and she understood everything we wanted or needed, and especially understood how to cope with my family (no easy feat). Helen just understood everything and really listened to us, which made us so relaxed and we simply enjoyed the whole experience. I'm not confident in front of the camera so it was so nice how relaxed she was but with the right amount of enthusiasm and fun, and could work with anything thrown at her. The quality of the photos are incredible and she's really captured the characters of us and the guests, which was perfect. Everything just felt like she had gone the extra mile and so effortlessly as well. I really felt like we had a bond from start to finish and we're looking forward to working with her again one day in the future. We asked Helen to take our wedding pictures, and we are very glad that we did. Helen was very professional, meeting us before the wedding, and then at both the church and reception venue a few weeks before. On our wedding day, Helen took some beautiful pictures both of us and of large groups friends and family. All the pictures we asked for were taken and there were some lovely shots of guests arriving for and after the wedding service. All images were supplied to us on a memory stick very quickly after we returned from our honeymoon, and the photo album that we asked Helen to create was fantastic. I usually feel so uncomfortable having my photograph taken, so the thought of having to get some new professional images taken for my website and social media platforms filled me with dread - I should not of worried!! Helen instantly put me at ease. She was warm and friendly, she made the whole process easy and pain free. Helen recently photographed my sons christening. From start to finish Helen was brillant. She answered all my questions I had prior to booking as well as after. Helen even visited our church prior to the day to check the light etc. She accodated my requests perfectly. She is a very friendly and open photographer, listening to what we wanted. On the day of the christening she was lovely, she introduced herself straight the way making us all feel very very comfortable. Her expertise really shines though. She suggested different photos throughout the day, capturing my sons soecial day beautifully. After the day she regularly ‘checked in’ keeping up to date on the progress of our images. She posted our gallery online as well personally delivering a USB to our house. Couldn’t recommend Helen enough. Already booking in for more :-)

Helen photographs my sons every 6 - 12 months and has coped with them as helpless newborns, naughty toddlers and now as little boys. Her talent is being very 'level' with kids - she doesn't talk down to them, just treats them like and equal and so they relax with her and just behave normally, meaning the photos are relaxed and very much representative of their true personalities. A true professional, the photos and beautiful and very reasonably priced. A must have for any parent who wants to capture the best of their children!
