My newborn photo shoot was cancelled due to COVID, Ellie went out of her way once we were able to have one done to arrange it with all the precautions in place and in limited time! I chose Ellie for a baby photoshoot back in December 2018 and it was the best decision. I liked how Ellie comes to the house as when I had just a baby the last thing I wanted was to travel out especially with a newborn. The photoshoot went really well, and Ellie was amazing with my daughter Aurora. It was nice in the comfort of our own home and feeding/changing was not a problem. The photos were so beautiful and we couldn't wait to share with friends and family. We have a large canvas on our lounge wall and admire the photos everyday. My 2nd baby is due in 2 weeks time and I did not hesitate to book Ellie again for another baby photoshoot. Highly recommend!!

We chose LUX photography for our 7 month old daughters pictures - it was the best decision we could have made. Ellie was so lovely to work with and knew exactly what shots to take and when - which is difficult when you have a child who is constantly on the move! She’s a mobile photographer so it does make things a lot easier. It was nice to be in the comfort of your own home and it definitely made a difference to how relaxed our daughter was as well. I can’t recommend LUX photography enough - very professional and prompt - and Ellie makes you feel very comfortable. We were so pleased with our pictures, they were exactly what we were after and captured our daughters personality perfectly.

I cannot thank Ellie enough. I contacted Ellie once my daughter was a week old, worried I had left it too late to have some new born photos. Ellie was able to fit me in the following week and reassured me that new born pics can be taken upto 6 weeks old. As soon as I met Ellie it felt like we had known her for years. She was so easy to get along with and was brilliant with my five year old son who she was able to make laugh which helped to get such a natural smile on the photos. Ellie was brilliant with my daughter. She was able to capture some amazing new born photos and I knew as soon as she was taking the photos that I would need to buy all pics as there would be too much choice. The shoot was brilliant, Ellie made sure my daughter was warm enough and allowed time for feeding. She was so patient which allowed us to capture some great images. I was so excited to receive the images and could not believe how amazing they were. It made us fall in love with our children all over again. The poses, outfits and style were just what I wanted and I will treasure these pictures forever. She has captured the newborn features so wonderfully. Thank you Ellie! We booked newborn photoshoot with Ellie very last minute having ummmed and aaahhhhed at whether we would even get our newborn pictures done professionally, but after a return to hospital after the birth I knew I wanted it having had stayed away from baby for 3days, and the whole pregnancy in covid situation.. It was such a simple process booking with Ellie and when the day came we were well prepared with her instructions, and made very comfortable in knowing our baby was in safe hands. It is ideal that Ellie can come to the house, and she took all covid precautions. We loved the photoshoot and the time spent with Ellie, very professional and friendly. She definitely went above and beyond! We had prompt delivery of the pictures which have filled us with joy and awe as to how much baby has changed in this time! We most definitely will book again with Ellie, and would 100% recommend her to our friends and family.

A day to remember! We had a newborn shoot with Lux when our baby girl was 17 days old. The studio is warm, welcoming and homely, a real treasure trove. The colour palette of all the accessories and props is beautiful, sophisticated and delicate. Ellie was amazing with our baby and much better than me at getting her settled ready to position. I would recommend this experience to anyone, so wish we had been in the position to do it with our first two babies. All of the photos are stunning, we still can't decide which ones we will be having printed. I suggest you attend in cool clothes or layers you can take off, the room has to be kept warm enough for a naked baby. Would make an ideal gift rather than the endless clothes and teddies new babies get!

Monday afternoon I went for a photo shoot with Ellie, i was invited to attend this photo shoot because Ellie wanted to try something new, something that she hadn't done before so when it comes to her paying customers there not disappointed or dissatisfied with her service, this was like a trial run for her to find if it would work or if there was any minor details that needed to be changed and so forth. Today it was 30 degrees and my little girl is nearly 8 months and teething with her second tooth cutting threw, Ellie had the room all set out ready for us to get on when we arrived, she provided everything from the outfit to the hairbands and towel! My little girls wasn't feeling in a particularly great mood today as you can imagine but Ellie did her best to keep my little girl calm and stress free while trying to get the shots she wanted. we played peekaboo, sang we had a 5 minute break just for my little girl to have a drink and chill out and then Ellie made sure we were okay to continue as my little girl was getting abit aggregated by this time, Ellie was trying to be as quick as she could while trying to be as efficient as she could bless her! I'm so glad I got to experience this great opportunity with Ellie it was the first time my little girl had experienced a photo shoot to! Ellie was so patient, so polite and down to earth, she was so understanding about how restless my little girl was being and the whole way threw Ellie was complimenting my daughter, trying to interact with her, make her laugh and most importantly Ellie is so good at what she does I would recommend her to anyone! She got some amazing shots of my little girl and she worked so hard for them I couldn't of asked for a better shoot! Not only were the pictures great but Ellie was so lovely to which made the experience a whole lot better! Can not Thankyou enough Ellie and I'm beyond excitement to see the finished photos!!
