I was really nervous about a shoot like this, but wanted to challenge myself as I have been working really hard on my self-esteem and felt this was an important next step. Sarah was recommended to me by friends who'd used her services and from the moment we first spoke I could see why she is praised so highly. She put me at ease, she soothed my wobbles and I felt really ready for the shoot before the day arrived. The day itself was an experience I'll never forget. I felt utterly pampered having my hair and make up done, which looked AMAZING, and throughout the shoot I was made to feel like an absolute queen. My confidence grew as the day progressed and I left feeling like a different woman. I still can't believe it's me in the photos, as I've never felt sexy before, but I'm certainly growing into it more now thanks to Sarah! Every woman should feel like this!

I had a Boudoir session with Sarah last week. I am still in a wonderful happy glowy haze. Doing a Boudoir session is something that was very much outside of my comfort zone; I am not a very girly-girl and I have confidence issues. Sarah kept me in the loop throughout the months leading up to the shoot. I felt incredibly well prepared. Her Facebook page really helped me prepare and feel familiar with Sarah and her setting. As soon as I walked through the door I felt at ease. Sarah has a way of getting you to relax and feel calm, while at the same time, she brought out an unexpected sassy side to me that had been well and truly hidden away. She was great at helping me to do the poses and talked me through everything in a way that was easy to understand. I’m not the most coordinated person, and I have poor balance, but she demonstrated all of the poses and was really lovely if I didn’t get it right straight away. The hair and makeup by Jemma was totally amazing, I felt like a cross between a princess and a rockstar: it definitely helped me find my mojo. The reveal was an emotional experience. Sarah most definitely worked her magic on me. Seeing myself through the eyes of a talented Boudoir photographer is an experience that I will never forget. It was most definitely empowering. The whole experience was wonderful. A Boudoir session with Sarah is a truly magical day. I can’t recommend Sarah Rachel Boudoir highly enough.

Absolutely AMAZING experience today! Highly recommend a session with Sarah to anyone. She’s creative, empowering and super comfortable to be around, so much so I took a baggy jumper to do some slightly revealing shots and ended up comfortable enough to do full nudes. I had the most amazing experience at my boudoir session. I am just an average mum who's a size 16/18 and I wanted to to do something for myself to boost my confidence and have something to look back on after my body had changed. When I enquired with Sarah, straight away I felt at ease, She is so personable and listens to all your needs. From the lingerie you want to wear down to the music you want to listen to on the day to make you feel comfortable. There's loads of add ons and extras like hair and makeup (Which is brilliant by the way) but Sarah doesn't pressure you to get anything. I was super nervous going in for my shoot but after 5 mins I just felt like I was round a friends house having a laugh. Honestly if you have the slightest feeling that this is for you, reach out as you wont regret it! Best thing I have done for myself and have so much more body confidence for it! Sarah is all about empowering women and not having to change yourself before doing this and I 100% agree x

I was inspired to book a shoot because having my children really knocked my body confidence as I was left with the mum tum which made me really insecure. So doing a shoot helped me regain confidence in my appearance. Walking into my session I felt nervous but excited about my shoot. Sarah very quickly put me at ease and the nerves soon left. When I got home after my boudoir experience I felt very empowered, confident and sexy!! If you are unsure about booking a shoot with Sarah there's no need to. It is the best thing to do if you need a confidence boost, Sarah has a magic way that helps you prove to yourself that you are a stunning, beautiful person inside and out. Going into the shoot I was worried/nervous etc. about my mum tum as I have major confidence issues around it but they were soon dashed away because Sarah posed me in ways which accentuated the bits I love about myself and not the bits that I struggle with.

So today was the day I finally had my shoot with sarah! Tbh wish health hadn’t got in the way previous! But I’ll definitely be booking again!! Anyways! Ladies if for one minute you’re doubting yourself If you can do this or not! Believe me you can! I totally went out of my comfort zone today! And wore a red number! I was almost not going to wear it! But sarah gave me a boost and obviously these were my most favourite pictures! The hardest part of today wasn’t my shoot it was actually picking and narrowing down the pictures I wanted to put in the album! ( then I ended upgrading my package because let’s face it magic was worked today!!) From the moment I entered sarah and her amazing make up and hair lady ( sorry forgot your name 🙈 ) made me forget all my nervousness! Once I looked in the mirror I was shocked at how beautiful they’d already made me feel! Today’s been a whirlwind but in a good way! My intentions today were too try and see myself from a different point of view, well that Definitely happened! There was lots of laughter and giggles! Honestly to see yourself in this way is just INCREDIBLE!! These pictures will be cherished forever! It’s not all pouts but lots and lots of smiles too!! Also for anyone wondering about their size don’t worry! Size is a number it doesn’t define you and you are beautiful!!! I’m a bigger girl myself and had those same thoughts!

I won a competition with Sarah and it was the best thing that I ever took the plunge and actually did. Walking up to the door I was so anxious but From the minute you walk in the door to the minute you leave Sarah makes you feel so at home and at ease. She guides abs supports you the whole way through. I’ve really struggled with confidence my whole life and since going to Sarah and seeing her capture me in a way that I didn’t know possible I have a new found confidence in myself. If you have ever debated doing a shoot then please do it. Sarah is amazing from start to finish and I promise you will walk out that door feeling so empowered and see yourself in a while new light. Every woman MUST experience a boudoir session with Sarah! I had wanted to try something like this for a long time, spent lot's of time looking at all the beautiful women she had photographed and always talked myself out of it because I felt that I wasn't thin enough, tanned enough, pretty enough but it turns out that we are too critical of ourselves and Sarah showed me this by allowing me to see myself with different eyes. No smoke, No mirrors just an amazing photographer who see’s beauty in all women and captures the real you!

I'm not sure were to start, from start to finish Sarah was calming, welcoming, and overall it was a fantastic experience. I opted for the extra of hair and Make up which I highly reccomend. When it come down to the nitty gritty she not only got into the poses to show you but was encouraging all the way through! I honestly didnt know I could bend that way. Looking at my pictures at the ended and picking my favourite was definitely the hardest part I never knew I could look like that. I highly reccomend to anyone thinking about it.

I have extreme self- esteem issues, so when I asked Sarah to take nude images of me I was initially hesitant. My thought process when booking the shoot was that it could raise my confidence and self –esteem just slightly, and I’d seen Sarah’s work previously so I thought perhaps she could make me feel a bit beautiful. But after seeing the final images I can say with absolute confidence that Sarah’s photography and the experience itself absolutely exceeded all expectations. I chose to do nude images, rather than images in lingerie, as I felt having no mental mask might have some kind of “freeing” effects. I was plastered in makeup, hair extensions and jewellery because (as I said to Sarah when she questioned this) “If I’m going to be naked I need as much hair as possible!” The makeup and hair made me feel somewhat less nervous about being nude in front of a camera, although I was still filled with unquenchable anxiety. When Sarah arrived at my home, with that wonderful smile and fearlessness that she seems to wear with utter confidence; she instantly put me at ease. After all, I had created some kind of bizarre scenario in my head where she’d arrive, look me up and down and say “clothes off then, I haven’t got all day!” But it wasn’t like that at all. I put my playlist on to calm my nerves. With my music on, it was time to take the images, Sarah requested we do a few where I’m just wearing only a large baggy jumper. Despite the fact she was eventually going to see me uncovered, Sarah turned away to allow me undress with dignity, which I appreciated to no end, and put me further at ease. We did a few of these shots and then it was the moment of truth. With a “rip the plaster off” attitude, I went for it. Completely nude Sarah never hindered any confidence in me. She reassured me I had a beautiful body, and explained the various (albeit difficult) positions which would make me look most appealing to the camera. I think what made me feel so confident was that I felt that Sarah absolutely believed what she was saying when she would say how gorgeous she thought I looked, and until that moment, I’d never believed it myself. It eventually felt completely natural. Like “Yes! This is my body, I am completely naked and loving every second of it!” With thorough professionalism throughout the entire process, Sarah managed to break my barrier of self- loathing which has weighed me down my entire life, and more than that, it was so much fun! We had a few giggles and silliness, and it felt just like I was hanging out with a friend. The camera stopped mattering and I was just in the moment it felt like I was laughing with someone I’d known my entire life. It was so easy almost, like it was supposed to happen. Once the shoot was over, I was still buzzing off the incredible confidence I had gained from being nude in front of a photographer, which is something I never thought I’d say. The very next day Sarah messaged me with images, and sent me a few pre-edited with undeniable excitement: “Kate, you are absolutely stunning!” and what I saw I will never forget, it was me, looking like a professional model, me! As some kind of beauty queen! Within a few days Sarah had created the album I had requested, and I don’t think in my wildest dreams I could have looked this good. Sarah is incredibly talented, knows what she’s doing and is a brilliant photographer; but she does so much more than that, she raises self- esteem – turns blobs like me into Kate Moss, I am extremely grateful. I cannot encourage you enough, if you’re struggling with who you are, or have body issues, book a shoot with Sarah, you will not regret it!

I was inspired to do a photo shoot with Sarah after being apart of her fb group during lockdown. I would never have considered doing a boudoir shoot before thinking I don’t ‘look like a model’, but Sarah always made a point of making us believe we are all uniquely beautiful. Although I was insanely nervous, Sarah was amazing at making me feel comfortable, from the face to face zoom consultations - to guided me through each poses on the shoot. I spent the day with Sarah feeling the best I have felt about myself in ages, and every time I look back on the photos I remind myself of that feeling. As a female powerlifter it felt amazing to represent strong women in such a beautiful / feminine way, and I’m so pleased I chose Sarah to guide me through that experience.
