I instantly fell in love with Georgi’s style of photography when planning our wedding and she was one of the very first bookings we made. From the outset, Georgi was a total dream to deal with. I really appreciated being able to have a long phone call with her in the beginning so she could answer my many questions. Having a somewhat long engagement, Georgi and I stayed in touch via Instagram and I quickly began to think of her as a friend. Despite her very busy life, she was more than happy to chat through any random ideas or questions I had at all times of the day (something that increased as we drew closer to the big day), offering her expert knowledge and making suggestions. My husband was nervous before our pre-wedding shoot with Georgi but thanks to getting along so well with her (all thanks to Georgi’s warm and friendly personality), we quickly got used to having our photos taken. This was a great opportunity for us to not only meet Georgi but for her to get a sense of what we were like in front of the camera. Georgi got some gorgeous photos of our sausage dog Luna and also kindly took a few headshots for me for my work, ones I still use today. We adored our engagement photos and it made us even more excited for our wedding photos. When we learnt we would need to postpone thanks to Covid, Georgi was one of the first people to reach out and sent voice notes of sympathy and reassurance. She was very efficient at helping us find a new date with her and even went as far as sending us some brownies to cheer us up. On the day itself, Georgi was a total dream. She was calm and chatty and generally really lovely to have around, it felt just like having a friend taking our photos. So many of our guests commented on how nice she was. She was also able to quickly build a rapport with our videographer who she had not met before, meaning they could work together really effectively. Throughout the day, Georgi skilfully performed a mixture of helping to position us for some more posed photos as well as capturing all those natural moments. She was able to fade into the background meaning a lot of the time, you didn’t even realise she was there. Georgi was such an enthusiastic supplier to have on board and she made sure we got every shot we wanted, while making sure we also had plenty of time to spend together and with our guests. I never had a single worry about our wedding photography as I had complete faith and trust in Georgi and her talent. That said, she still absolutely blew us away with our finished gallery. It still feels unreal that we are the people in those photos and that was actually our day. Nearly two months on and I am still not over how beautiful our wedding photos are, I genuinely struggle to pick a favourite as I think it changes daily. From the bridal prep to the ceremony and the group shots, I love them all and that’s all thanks to Georgi and her skill and hard work. We have had so many compliments from friends and family who have also loved the photos and I know our parents are struggling to decide which to print. Knowing how much I love photos generally, Georgi provided a huge amount for us to keep. I’m also so pleased she suggested booking a second shooter as I love having photos of my husband and his groomsmen getting ready and seeing what they got up to before we met up the aisle. Considering we had DIY-ed quite a few bits ourselves, it was really lovely that Georgi acknowledged this by capturing all the minor details she knew we had spent time creating. She was quick to send us some previews the day after our wedding, something I hugely appreciated as we had a lot of guests wanting to share their own photos on social media but waiting for us to do so first. I remember looking through those preview photos and crying with joy much to the amusement of my husband. You get so much more than a photographer when you book Georgi. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her. We feel so incredibly lucky that she was part of our day and I hope we’ll have the absolute pleasure of working with her again.

I simply cannot recommend Georgi enough as a wedding photographer. From our pre wedding shoot through to receiving our beautifully designed album. I hate having my picture taken but she put me at such ease. She took every stress out of the wedding day getting the most natural photos. I absolutely love her style. And the one thing you’ll get is some amazing surprise photos you didn’t even realise she took. We get to relive one of the best days of our lives over and over now with these photos. Where can we start, Georgi was amazing from our first contact with her. She listened to all aspects of our wedding and what we wanted from our photography. We loved Georgi’s style and approach to photography. Georgi is the most friendly person to share your special day with, she didn’t rush us and made sure we captured all of the special moments throughout our day. Our wedding was postponed a year due to covid, and Georgi couldn’t have been more accommodating in both our feelings and moving our date. We really appreciated everything Georgi did to help us on the run-up and on our special day. Georgi went above and beyond for our day, we had so many compliments on how brilliant Georgi was on the day, as well as the end result of our beautiful photos. Finding Georgi to photograph our wedding day was by far the best decision we made! Her photos are just perfect. So natural and captured some amazing moments throughout the day we otherwise wouldn’t have seen. The addition of a second photographer was such a great option to. While we were getting a few family photos and couples photos the second photographer was making sure our guests were looked after too! Our album is always out at home for our family and friends to look through and is really high quality! I cannot recommend Georgi enough. Several guests commented that they had forgotten she was even there, which speaks volumes! Capturing the most wonderful photos without guests feeling they were being watched.

We first met Georgi at our wedding venue open day (Irnham Hall). She was warm and likeable, showcasing lovely examples. After the open day we spent a lot of time looking online at other photographers, which only further confirmed she was the only option for us! We had a pre wedding meet up with photos at the venue, which I cannot recommend enough given how initially uncomfortable I was about having photos taken. She put us at ease and the progress of relaxation is apparent in the photos! On the day itself Georgi took great photos and supported our plan to minimise formal staged pictures, focusing on candid snaps. She coordinated smaller windows of time for us to slip away for more intimate couple pictures without us feeling like we were missing out on being present with our guests. Georgi captured our day perfectly and we cannot recommend her enough!

Georgi and her second shooter Liz, photographed our wedding 6 months ago at Stubton Hall and thank you isn't really the right word to express how we feel. Georgi was personable and so friendly from our initial phone call right up until after the wedding when we received our photos. We didn't even know there was a photographer there for most of the day and during the group and couple shots, Georgi was able to get the most perfect photos whilst also keeping things moving. Georgi is passionate - everything we could have wanted in a wedding photographer and more! Captured our day perfectly, blending in to get the best natural shots of us and our guests. Website is excellent, clear layout, all required information. Instagram page is worth a follow too, great way to see her work and get excited about your own photos. Initial consultation - phone call before booking to discuss her style, our wedding vision, venue etc Booking process very easy, extremely prompt replies via email, clear contract / terms of agreement. Meeting 6 months before wedding to discuss details, key names, group shouts etc. Impromptu "engagement shoot" which was relaxed and informative, great way to get to know Georgi as well as how we both felt in front of the camera. She edited almost 50 images from this shoot for us to review and favourite so that she knew what sort of shots we were keen to get on the day. Great give it a go attitude, keen to try lots of techniques to get the best shots. Showed albums and discussed second shooter as option for the small church. No pressure or upselling of her additional extras, very much about what was best for our day. Album options are varied so worth considering. Arrived promptly at about 8am on wedding day to begin bridal prep coverage, very calm presence and completely unobtrusive. Well-presented and friendly, chatting to guests throughout the day. Calm direction when needed (even managing to dampen the worry after the bride gave herself a black eye packing away a sofa bed at 7am on the big day!) Captured the raw moments as they happened, as per her documentary style. Handled group shot section quickly and efficiently with large number of guests. Did three separate sections with us to capture the best lighting throughout the day, staying way past 9.30pm to get the sunset, above and beyond what we expected. 30 previews within 4 days to review whilst on our mini moon. Over 700 edited images in personal online gallery within 7 weeks which we were impressed with given the fact that it was peak wedding season. Beautiful USB with all high-resolution images from our wedding posted to us with a little treat and handwritten note from Georgi. So many little touches that add up to a spectacular wedding photographer. We’re over the moon with our photos and thank our lucky stars that Georgi was available on our day!

Georgi is an extremely talented photographer. We cannot believe how good our wedding photographs turned out, they completely exceeded our expectations. My husband isn't the keenest on having his photo taken, but you can't tell! Georgi has a unique style and vision that shines through in all of her pictures. Album after album and all her blog posts show that she has the skill and talent to capture consistently high quality shots across whole weddings that simply leap off the page, time and again. Some photographers only present portfolios that cherry-pick their best shots from individual events. That's a massive red flag indicating poor consistency but there's no risk of that with her work. It's all amazing. Of the 15 or so photographers we met (our first cancelled a few months before our wedding), her images stood out as by far the strongest amongst a pretty strong field. She was a pleasure to work with from our initial meeting to the final delivery of our album; an incredible artifact to behold in and of itself. As enthusiastic amateur photographers ourselves, we had high standards and quite specific and demanding requests. Georgi took all of these in her stride and was amenable to everything we asked for, always acting as a consummate professional. This was even when faced with the challenges of shooting in a busy city centre or dealing with a belligerent and unexpectedly recalcitrant vicar. TL;DR: if you want fun, informal and beautiful documentary style wedding photography you should book her. She's the person other wedding photographers hire and with very good reason.

We absolutely love our wedding photos! We charged Georgi with providing us with pictures that were natural, relaxed and a little bit quirky, and she did just that and more. The photos are gentle and capture the story of our day perfectly. I am not someone who is particularly comfortable striking a pose - or really being photographed in general - but the e-shoot Georgi did really put us at ease and meant that on the big day itself we weren't worrying about the photos. Most of the time we didn't even know Georgi was there and we were left wondering how she managed to capture some of the pics she did! We are are so pleased we chose Georgi Mabee Photography for our wedding day. Georgi has been an absolute pleasure to work with from start to finish - from the initital booking, right the way through to helping us chose our photos and editing the wedding albums. On the big day, she was extremely professional. She arrived early and spent time looking around the venue to find the best places to take photos (she managed to find some great places for the group shots and the portraits of me and my husband).
