We had a fantastic experience during our first visit to Studio 101. Darren was very friendly and went out of his way to put us at ease. The shoot was very relaxed and much to our surprise, very fun - both ourselves and our litte girl had a blast. The coffee on offer was also excellent. Upon returning to view our photographs, we were beyond delighted with the results and Darren did everything he could to make sure we were comfortable, making us more of his delicious coffee. This was definitely a photo shoot that went above and beyond all our expectations. We will be returning for future family photos for sure. Can't recommend Darren and his studio enough.

Highly experienced, relaxed and professional. After careful research of the local area and working through recommendations, we visited a few similar businesses and quickly decided to choose Studio 101 for a photoshoot with our two younger daughters aged 10 & 14. Upon walking through the door my wife and I immediately received a sense of calm and were greeted by Darren. His studio was well equipped, presented and meticulously clean and tidy compared to others we had visited. An exceptionally warm welcome received with a nice chat over a coffee on what we wanted, Darren guided us through the process with absolutely no sense of pressure. He had plenty of ideas to help us and his portfolio of prior photoshoots had opened our eyes on how some of the utterly amazing shots were achieved. On the actual photoshoot session it was an absolute joy. We had laughs, giggles and a fantastic time. Although the session was solely for our daughters, he included us on a couple of photos capturing the time we spent there. The backdrops, furniture and lighting were all there to make the most out of each shot. The amount of photos taken were overwhelming and he captured many ad hoc moments in conjunction with the main shoot. During the shoot, and towards the end of the session he selected some photos for us to see and the results looked amazing. We arranged a date to come back and view the photos and left as happy and as relaxed as when we originally arrived, but oh so eager to see the final results of the photoshoot! Darren invited us back to Studio 101 and presented the photos to us both. They were absolutely incredible!! My wife and I were lost for words. Darren had captured every little moment, smile, laugh, expression and movement that sums our daughters up. The whole of our family and relatives were all completely blown away by the photos that were taken. So much so, we have easily decided to rebook and arrange the whole family to attend (happily with pets if you wish) to have another photoshoot at Studio 101 to make further memories. Thank you Darren, we can’t wait to see you again. For anyone deciding to have a photoshoot within a family relaxed atmosphere or single professional portrait shoot, we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Darren and Studio 101!

Whilst visiting family in Lincoln, we had a family photoshoot with Darren at Studio 101 Photography. Having never done this sort of thing before we were very nervous upon arrival but our nerves were very soon put behind us. Darren greeted us with a very warm welcome and took some time to explain everything to us. He was very jovial and made us feel at ease very quickly. He was super keen to make sure that we had a great experience and surpassed all of our expectations. We had booked for an hour session but Darren did run over just a bit so that we were sure that we had the perfect images. We were a family of four and were all made to feel very much at home. Our hour session was great fun and seemed to fly by. Darren did inform us that he normally does the viewing approx. 7 days after the photoshoot but we were leaving Lincoln in 3 days. We booked the viewing the evening before we were leaving and again was made to feel very welcome when we arrived. The images that we were shown at the viewing were amazing. So much so, that we purchased one of the digital packages that they sell. “Darren, thanks ever so much for making our experience with you at Studio 101 so special, we have now had a few of the images printed / framed professionally and they now sit pride of place on the wall in the lounge”. If you are looking for that special memory, I can’t speak highly enough of the service that Studio 101 Photography provided.

After being bought a family photoshoot session as a gift myself and my husband were a little apprehensive about booking as neither of us particularly like having our photograph taken. However Darren immediately put us at ease and made the whole experience very enjoyable. We received a pre shoot phone call to ensure we knew what to expect and to allow for any special requests such as props to be found. The photo shoot was relaxed and fun, and Darren was fab with our two year old son and happily worked with various props and back drops and mixed it up to keep our son occupied and get the perfect shot! The photos Darren captured were amazing and we were able to spend as much time as we needed to review them at the follow up appointment and select the ones we wanted. Overall our experience at Studio 101 was fantastic. If you are looking for a relaxed, friendly and professional photographer then we thoroughly recommend Darren.

Needed the use of a local studio for some photography work. Studio 101 is clean, modern and well equipped. Pricing is reasonable with flexible hours available. Darren is very approachable and helpful, will definitely use again.
