After scouring the web for an outdoor baby/family photographer, we stumbled upon Alexandra's portfolio and loved her photography style. Alexandra was very kind and responsive and we quickly booked a 2-hour session in Greenwich Park. It was such a lovely afternoon spent outdoors with our baby, and the photoshoot itself felt surprisingly effortless. Alexandra was very friendly and professional, gently directing us for the posed photos or quietly capturing our candid moments without us noticing. We were very pleased with the resulting images and ended up purchasing the entire gallery! We will be keeping fond memories of this photoshoot day and treasure our family photos for a long time!

Alex took photos at a corporate event for us - the end results were beautiful - exactly what we were looking for. She made everyone feel at ease while taking headshots and was unobtrusive during speeches and panels, while still managing to take great photos. We'll definitely use her for future events.

I contacted Alexandra because I loved her instagram's photos. It was so easy to take do the pictures as she is so welcoming and warm but also has tons of experience with people, like me, who have panic to be in front of the camera !. Alex was a pleasure to work with. We haven’t got a huge amount of spare time and aren’t a family that usually enjoy having our photos taken. Alex completely exceeded our expectations- she was quick, thoughtful, didn't make us feel awkward or uncomfortable and most importantly worked around our crazy schedules by coming to our house. She followed the kids round and just let them be them, rather than formal poses. The results are fabulous and capture exactly who we are as a family. I couldn’t recommend her more highly! Alexandra’s photography is absolutely beautiful. I’ve never been that keen on the traditional family photograph, but I am so glad Alexandra came to ours and photographed my daughter (and dog, who sneaked in on the photo shoot!). The photos are excellent; Alexandra has such a good eye for capturing details that are so special. Her framing within the camera view and her use of depth of field give the images a modernity that I really love and the images are also very natural – an antidote to the usual staged affair. On top of that she’s an absolutely lovely person, my daughter felt very much at ease with her and I really enjoyed having her round too. I couldn’t recommend Alexandra Dao’s photography enough.

We do the odd family selfie but they never turn out like this. Cannot thank Alex enough! A wonderful photographer not just for being skilled with a camera but because of the way she connects with her subjects. My son and I hate being in front of a camera, but Alex's photographs seem to tell a very different story. She made us feel comfortable enough to behave naturally despite the camera and then quietly captured some perfect moments that we'll treasure forever. The 'in between moments' she captured of my daughter were the biggest surprise though. Alex conjured up images of an angel at play in a bucolic idyll when the reality was the edge of the heath by a busy road! I'm really in awe of her talent to be honest :)
