A really amazing and safe space, with a brilliant beginners course that was run by Mel and Li.
Would highly recommend attending any one of their course if you're considering it!

Anatomie studio is the best. Great atmosphere, great people, great if you're visiting and want to do a bit of rope tourism too, which is what I did. Cannot recommend enough.

This studio is the most delightful place I know. Amazing atmosphere, great people, very inviting to absolutely anyone (apart from rules breakers) and with a range of great events.

Had a great time. Can highly recommend
V. H.
Lovely people, space and clear concise demonstrations. Perhaps it is suffering from it's own success, as over crowding was very problematic, especially in a space dealing with sensitivity and intimacy.

London's only dedicated shibari studio is also it's warmest, cosiest, and friendliest rope venue. Run by a community minded couple and a small staff who are all deeply involved in the community themselves. Excellent amenities - gender neutral bathroom, small kitchen, fridge/freezer, microwave, kettle, free tea/coffee, lots of pillows and blankets, books and educational resources. Also a coat rack and a cubby storage system for handbags etc. Custom built aerial rig, large number of suspension points, bamboo available to borrow. Shibari predominates but other forms of aerial are welcome, and there is a minority of people who do circus, acrobatics, etc. Flooring is puzzle mats with some carpets on top and loose pillows. No need to be interested in suspension, plenty of people do only floorwork! Regular lessons, classes, and workshops, including from visiting instructors (both European and International!) Incredibly open and inclusive space, I tend to shorthand as 'everthing' positive but certainly as a shortlist positive and supportive of all genders, sexualities, races, ethnicities, community identities, and countries of origin.

A fantastic space for both complete beginners and Shibari enthusiasts. There are lots of different levels of classes to help you acquire rope skills. The beginner rope jams on Thursday are the ideal first introduction and you can go solo or with a partner. I went alone to my first event and have found a great community of people to explore rope with.
