They misplaced my F3 battery cover (was on camera when left in shop) - if you find it, Please give to Mr Cad photography shop - they brought my Nikon F3. Thank you very much for help and advise.

Probably the ultimate UK Nikon specialist.
They cannot be beaten on new equipment prices and delivery is normally included.
When it comes to used equipment, you have peace of mind from knowing that they know the products inside out.
I wouldn’t deal with anyone else for Nikon.

A professional magazine hosted and backed-up by a really nice team. They have always looked after me well. It is not surprising that they win so many awards or are visited by so many famous people!

If you are a Nikon owner this is the place to come. Great selection of gear both new and second hand. The service is great and this place is more than just a shop with lots of events organised and do on, is a community. The only negative is the opening hours but they do deliveries wherever you are. Love this place.
Update: went in today and the guys were really accommodating. Thanks for all your help.

Just bought a Nikon D850 from Gray. Mint- from Gray is as usual immaculate. I have dealt with Gray for 50 years. Bought my first Nikon F FTN from him in early 1970’s. This is an Alladin’s cave for all Nikon devotees. When I lived in Kenya, I would head there direct from the airport when visiting England.

TOP!!!! If you looking for something about Nikon...No doubts.. go there! Is smal shop in the plinco area but very organised. They have camera, lens, accessories for nikon ( just 4 Nikon )and the ground floor is totally full of lens from 2 hand with really interesting price, off course you can try all items and they give you 14days for trial in case you not satisfied you can have money back or choice something else and 1year warranty!! What else would like? I found 2 really professional and kindness guys Tom and Konstantin that spend time with me , left try the lens that I wanted try and answer to all my questions.
Very recommended.

I've been dealing with Grays of Westminster for over 30 years, every time I've had the pleasure of buying from Grays I've received nothing but first class and friendly service, on the rare occasion that Grays haven't got stock of the item you're after, they'll do there upmost to locate it in a timely manner, Grays are my "Go to" store for anything Nikon.

Very impressed with the service I received from Raffi at Grays of Westminster. My order of lenses arrived the next day. No small feat as I live in France. This is not the first time I've ordered from Grays since moving to France, but the first time I've written a review. The delivery time was the same on both occasions.
Grays is the only proper Nikon specialist shop I know of in Europe. If you need something for your camera or a lens, which you cannot source locally, they will have it in stock, or be able to obtain it from Nikon for you and have knowledge of a solution to keep you going in the meantime.
I have only purchased second hand items as I trust their grading system. My lenses were classed as mint- and I can't see anything other than brand new lenses in front of me.
I visited the shop a long time ago in 2007 when I lived in the UK and, from what I see on the weekly live streams, it hasn't changed - just has more stock.
I can only say as I find. Excellent customer service from people who know their subject, Nikon cameras and lenses - I don't know how they retain the information on so many different items, but I'm glad they do.

I recently purchased a Nikon Z50 2 lens kit from Grays of Westminster via the website and I am amazed by the fantastic polite and professional service that I received from start to finish. I am delighted with my purchase which was at an excellent price. Very highly recommended and I now intend to visit hopefully by next summer.

Received a gift that was purchased through Grays of Westminster, the service was excellent, they went the extra mile and delivery was very quick. Could not recommend them enough.

I went to have a look for a F3 to get as a present to my dad. The shop it's like a boutique and you feel a bit underdressed when you walk in but they are really nice and not pushy. The man who served me took the time to show me the different options there were in my price reach and answered all my questions about the camera. Since I have to ship the camera to Italy he bubble-wrapped it for me.
I walked in to have a look and happily walked out with a fabulous F3 and a 50mm f1.8 with 1 year warranty.
Great service, nice shop.

The best service in the business. Unquestionably the best Nikon dealer in the country. Polite, professional, and with a depth of competence that can't be matched elsewhere.

After using Nikon cameras from film to digital, I always wanted to visit Grays of Westminster. I had the chance of a visit last Thursday. This quaint little shop, packed with Nikon cameras and lenses, had a sense of oldie worlde, and a good old personnel service. I found it to be a cross between a office and shop, although small with display cabinets full of Nikon, on two floors. Plenty of Nikon stock. The staff were welcoming and informative. Well worth a visit for any Nikon enthusiast.

I got a smashing deal a few years ago on an end-of-line D2Hs and since then I have only ever bought my Nikon cameras and lenses from Grays. Today I received a book (Nikon - 100th Anniversary). I had a £20 Grays voucher which was valid on purchases over £100. I was so excited to use my voucher on this book that I somehow overlooked that the book was exactly £100 so my voucher was not valid. Grays ought to have refused to sell - the voucher terms are loud and clear - but very generously they proceeded with the sale.
I subscribe to Gray's quarterly magazine - Nikon Owner. Its great to receive a glossy magazine these days instead of a pdf (though you can access it in pdf if you prefer, plus all the back-copies). There are various magazine subscription levels, each includes an extended product warranty - right up to 5 Years on their new Nikon kit and 2 Years on any secondhand Nikon kit you buy from them while a subscriber.
In summary, Grays offer keenly-priced new and secondhand Nikon kit, great customer service, and the option of an incredible warranty.

I was looking for extra batteries for my Nikon Z50 at a time when no one had them in stock. The few places that did have them seemed to be marking up the price because they were scarce. Then I happened upon Grays of Westminster, they were selling them for the RRP of £50 each. (approx £10/15 lower than the others) I inquired if they had them in stock and they got back to me very quickly saying they did. I ordered two and they delivered them within a couple of days. The ordering was easy and smooth. I even got a message from them a few weeks later saying that some of their messages had gone missing and could they help me with anything. I exchanged messages with a very helpful and pleasant staff member with the lovely name Foteini who was concerned that I hadn't received the batteries, I put her mind at rest, we traded pleasantries and said our goodbyes. All in all a very refreshing experience from Grays of Westminster. I would highly recommend them for anything Nikon. Thank you Foteini :)

My visit some years ago was a sort of pilgrimage to see the legendary Nikon emporium. A fantastic place for any Nikon enthusiast. I met and chatted to Gray and even though I only bought a BR2 reversing ring I got brilliant service that I've not forgotten. It's a shame I live so far from London now!

I always enjoy going to Grays - I've been doing so since I first discovered the shop in around 2013. It's like the John Lewis of Nikon: fairly priced, with great customer care and friendly, knowledgeable staff. Put it this way: I was never one to buy used camera gear because there's always a risk it's been abused. Not so at Gray's where item conditions are very conservatively described (the D800e I picked up today was listed as Mint- but I cannot find any marks on it) and there's a long guarantee included. I would not go to any other shop for my Nikon gear.
T. A.
A small looking shop from the outside but a veritable Tardis on the inside, the shop has the best collection of new and pre-loved Nikon’s.
The staff are welcoming and always seem to be busy.
Try before you buy I think is a great service, and chance to ask any questions.
You are not forgotten once you leave the shop either, with communication via social media platforms and their own Nikon Owner publication
I found the shop easy to find and only a short walk from Pimlico Station. There are plenty of places around the shop where you grab a bite to eat or a drink, especially important if you have travelled some time or distance, maybe a coffee machine in shop would be nice and allow time to build a rapport with the knowledgeable staff.
Speaking for myself, one happy customer

Went into the shop on Saturday not long before they closed. Tabitha assisted me with professionalism and smiles. We found the camera body I wanted at a good price and the purchase, with memory cards and subscription to their magazine was swift. I was promised an email to confirm the Nikon battery grip promotion.
To my delight and astonishment, Tabitha sent the email within 5 minutes of me leaving the premises.
That was truly outstanding service.
I returned today to buy an extra battery and for someone to fix the strap properly. Everything was dealt with without fuss and inside 5 minutes.
I know where I will be purchasing any additional Nikon products ... and I really must have a browse around their second-hand department one day soon.
Well done Grays.

What can you say about this shop. Amazing. Unbelievable. Inspirational. Frankly this review would end up book length !. If you are a Nikon user, or might become one then there is just no where else to shop. Incredibly knowledgeable & friendly staff, an array of Nikon cameras that make your mouth water ( & your pockets lighter ! ), their own glossy &informative magazine. Grey's (headed by the charismatic Gray) enjoys a worldwide clientele & a worldwide reputation

I have used Grays of Westminster for many years buying new and used Nikon equipment from them. Their Customer Service is consistently professional and efficient and their prices highly competitive. Their used equipment is always of the highest quality, usually boxed and complete and can always be bought with total confidence. I have today completed another part exchange which was dealt with by Becky Danese, I was so impressed by her professionalism I think a thank you is warranted. Having said that I have always experienced the same level of service from all staff at Grays. Why would you go elsewhere ?

As a professional photographer, and a lifelong Nikon user, it is of paramount importance that I can obtain the Nikon equipment that I require often at short notice, discuss my needs with those who are fully trained and aware of the products and services that they offer, and that the level of service afforded me inspires confidence to return again. Quite simply, Grays of Westminster in my experience, and my opinion is the finest Camera shop that I have ever had the pleasure of using, and visiting is always a wonderful experience.
Stock levels are amazing, it is a joy to view the collections of lenses on sale and I have yet to require an item that is not already held at the premises. Add to that first class service from a team that I have total faith in, in who's opinions I place my trust, and communications that are first rate, and for me, I have found a winning formula, an Aladdin's cave of past and present new and preowned Nikon items, and every visit an experience and a great pleasure. My wife came with me on my recent visit to the premises, and she really loved the level of service afforded her, and the knowledge and humour of Pablo, who helped us purchase the three lenses that we were looking to buy.
Grays is my first choice, and I always relish the prospect of a visit to acquire must have products for up and coming trips. This is a photography shop as though from my youth, where service, knowledge and professionalism are all key elements and for anything and everything Nikon, in my opinion, there is no better team and no better level of service than I have found at Grays of Westminster.

Absolutely amazing service! Only a small order as I needed a 4th SB-R200 for the R1C1 set up, ordered online at 11.30am and received the very next day at 10.15am., so not only the cheapest supplier I could find but probably the fastest too. Will certainly be placing further orders in the near future and being not that far away hope to visit the shop in person once things are back to some sort of 'normal'. All I can add is a big THANK YOU!
J. M.
I have bought quite a bit of gear from "Grays of Westminster", and the service has been excellent. I have just switched from a Canon 60D, and have now progressed onto the D800. They know what they are talking about, and are very professional and polite. Even when I ordered by phone, I got my goods the next day, and the parcel was insured, and more importantly, it was sent with loads of cushioning - very important to me. They even threw in a beautiful book (all in colour) called 'Nikon D800 and D800E the Expanded Guide". I didn't even ask for this.
The last item I bought was a 50mm f1.8G (mail order). This was cheaper than anywhere I could find on line, even with the £6.00 delivery charge. What more could I ask for?
Keep it up guys.

If, like me, you've been bitten by the Nikon bug, Grays of Westminster is the kind of shop you will probably love. It can be a little intimidating on a first visit; the shop is quite small, the smartly dressed staff all sit at desks and stock is displayed in old-fashioned shop cabinets, i.e. it's the opposite of any chain store. What separates Grays from other retailers is the level of service, in terms of courtesy, efficiency and knowledge. If you're after a bargain, they won't always be the cheapest. However, if you want advice to make an informed purchase they really know their stuff. They offer an amazing range of second hand bodies and lenses for those of us with shallower pockets and publish their own Nikon User magazine. Subscribers benefit from extended warranties and other discounts. If you're a serious Nikon user, pay Grays of Westminster a visit.

Just bought a used Nikon D2X with a high actuation rate but the camera was described as EXC++ but it was better than that almost Mint Condition. Not being a Professional Photographer I wasn't worried about the high actuation rate as the camera came with a 12 month warranty. I confirmed before I bought it that the shutter was covered under the warranty and in deed it was. The camera arrived fully boxed with all the accessories included like, strap, all cables, manual, software discs, LCD Cover, charger and mains cable and everything was fully wrapped in original plastic bags. What a bargain for £195 it was the cheapest by far from everywhere else I had looked and with the warranty included no wonder they are the best Nikon Dealer, you won't go far wrong in dealing with Grays. The staff are brilliant, very professional, they even phoned me to let me know that my camera would be arriving on the day they promised. I was a first time customer of Grays and I will certainly being going back, thanks Grays for all your help and I look forward to using my D2X quiet a lot in the very near future, 5 stars all round.

The only people who can deliver to the far north of Scotland without issue. I had my lens delivered within 24 hours of placing the order.
This is my third purchase from them (I think) and service is consistently very good. Highly recommended for any Nikon owner.

Grays of Westminster is the only place to get Nikon products. They are extremely helpful, and delivered my D750 very quickly. The range of stock available is huge, both new and second hand. I didn't visit the shop this time, but i am sure i will be going there soon!
From now on, i will be buying all my Nikon products from Grays of Westminster!

Recently bought used 50m f1.4, I had a post delivery query re a lens hood. The service from Grays to resolve me query was outstanding. Simply by putting the customer has left me with a great feeling and as formGreys a customer for life.

I live in Italy and I bought my used D7000 camera from Grays of Westminster.
I was totally satisfied with my purchase: customer support, package and shipment were perfect. The camera was in very good conditions like it was described on the web site.
I will recommend Grays of Westminster to everybody who wants to buy used equipment: you will not regret!
Greetings.

I have been a customer for many years. The service is exceptional and their knowledge of Nikon is likewise.
Because it is a very small shop, crammed with every conceivable bit of Nikon equipment both second hand and new, it can seem intimidating, but to be honest that is more about the space. It is more than made up for by everything else.
Like everyone else when buying, price is important. If Grays price is competitive then I would rather buy from them than anyone else. I often buy from B&H Photo in New York when the exchange rate is favourable and they are very speedy in their service.
Gays is a Nikon gem, if you want Nikon go their or phone them. If your happy with the price buy from them.
D. R.
The most excellent of Photographic shops. Knowledge, stock and customer service of the highest order. Any Nikon user in London should call in, you won't regret it! Top drawer!

Knowledgeable staff and we have bought and sold Nikon cameras and kit through them for years. Highly recommended.

I have been buying new and used Nikons here since my FM2 in the 1980s. Service always exceptional. Prices competitive on used and new. Spent an hour weighing up the pros and cons of a D800 against Df felt no pressure from salesman (more like a consultant).
Update from a few years later- still an peerless shop. Helpful expert advice, no hard sell, very competitive prices.

I was in London and my camera battery went flat. These guys let me charge my battery in one of their shop chargers while the cheapie travel charger I'd ordered on Amazon was in the mail - amazing service!! I honestly expected them to refuse unless I bought a whole new charger from them, and in all fairness they could have - but they didn't.
They were also extremely friendly and helpful. I was a bit scared going in because it was like an ornate Victorian library inside and I had 3 children with me, but they assured me everything was OK. It was also great seeing so much historical Nikon paraphernalia in their shop, including, among other things, a framed letter from 'Hercule Poirot' (David Suchet) written on Whitehaven Mansions letterhead and in true Poirot style, extolling the virtues of the F90 kit he'd bought from them in the mid-90's.
I ended up buying a second-hand prime lens I'd been looking at for a while while I was there as I was so impressed with their service and would much rather give the sale to them than anyone else, so they got far more out of me than the cost of a new charger. But I felt I owed it to them because their service was outstanding!
Well done Grays of Westminster, I'm proud to have been your customer!

I wanted to upgrade my Nikon D600 to a D750 4 years ago. I looked at Jessop s in Portsmouth. Then at Grays of Westminster. It was cheaper for me to go by train to Waterloo then underground to Victoria, and walk to Churton Street to do a trade in with the most Nikon Nikon sales people in the country! I did the deal with a lady and mentioned the fact that I had come from Gosport. She said EE are quite keen on price!!! What an understatement. The first tow I used them I had seen a Nikon 70 - 300. I said I wanted to see this secondhand lens. The salesman spoke to Gray Levitt who said that’s not secondhand it’s new and 6 months no interest! Who ever said they are expensive is s*hitting in his hat.
Roger Mitchell.

Great for everything Nikon. Most knowledgeable and friendly staff, and very fair prices. Hey, this is Nikon. What do you expect?
I needed specific Nikon components and they were the only place in London for those parts. They know the Nikon line like no one else, and if you need a professional video or photo person, they have those too!
C. S.
I have been a Gray's customer for 20 years now, during which time they have always provided me with great technical advice and support for both their Nikon film and digital products. Unlike so many retailers who have little allegiance to any specific brand and therefore will not hesitate to sell you whatever product they want to sell and not always the product you actually need, Grays is exclusively Nikon. Like any specialist Grays product knowledge is second to none and this combined with the outstanding customer service you receive before, during and after purchasing, puts them in a complete league of their own. The 5 stars says it all; I can totally recommend Grays as the best Nikon dealer in the UK.
P. V.
As an NUJ photojournalist, retired, I discovered that I had a camera problem which needed urgent fixing. I called Grays as I had used them from abroad many years ago. My old D200 Nikon needed a camera battery door. The extended battery pack had suffered plastic fatigue and could not retain the batteries. So remembering how often Grays had helped me in the past, with equipment, lenses and advice and more , I gave them a call today which was quickly answered by a kind and charming young lady who explained to me that the camera door I was needing fast, was in fact within the extended battery pack! Outstanding kindly service. No impatience but caring explantation and direction. And hugely important as I need my camera later today. Many thanks.
C. S.
Very impressed by the service.
They emailed me when the camera I was after was back in stock and I collected it from the shop.
Initially I felt a little out of place when I first stepped into the shop however the staff were very helpful, courteous and I like the fact that they called me by my first name - much better than "sir" as other places do.
I find their prices are competitive with everywhere else and they also have a very good 2nd hand stock. Would happily buy from them again. My only gripe is that they only sell Nikon gear and from my experience Nikon's QC is not what it used to be.
D. D.
I needed to purchase a camera that would be the correct choice for taking pictures of my work, but as I am not an actual photographer, I did not know which one would be the most suitable for my specific needs. The staff of Grays of Westminster answered all my questions and concerns, generally helped me through the process, and I finally purchased a Nikon D3100.
I was very impressed with both their depth of knowledge and their immediate understanding of what I needed; the technical staff answered all my questions and the service overall was fantastic. In fact, the Nikon D3100 turned out to be one of my best investments. DD

Brilliant service when I bought my Nikon Z5 camera kit online and even saved a lot compared to other camera stores. My camera arrived the next day so well packed and therfore in great condition.

I have bought a D810 as part of an exchange back in February and I was happy with the courtesy and service that I have received. Later on, in April, I did buy a new lens as part of another exchange and the service was impeccable, so I would definitely recommend them for their service and dedication.

I bought a second-hand lens for just over £1000 17 months ago, and at the same time took out a Grays of Westminster Nikon Owner Silver Membership - which offers an incredible 18-month warranty on any second-hand Nikon equipment sold by Grays. On a job last week the lens began to fail, and after dimly recalling something about a warranty I dug out the receipt and went to Pimlico. Yes, I was happily informed, the lens was still (just) inside the warranty period. Off my lens went to Fixation (also a definite 5 star performer for Nikon pros) and yesterday I was very sweetly informed by Tabitha at Grays that my lens was ready to be sent out to me - just in time for my next job. The 80-200/2.8 AFS had the SWM replaced and a full-service, clean and calibration - at zero cost to me. I cannot thank everyone at Grays enough for their consistently high-quality levels of service, attention to detail and no-questions-asked, hassle-free manner of honouring their fantastic second-hand warranty service. Nikon professional equipment is not cheap by any stretch of the imagination, but this level of technical support and warranty makes it easy to invest in high-cost equipment - knowing that it will be fully supported well into the future.

I have just bought a Nikon 14-24 F2.8 From Grays of Westminster. The service was fantastic as always You feel at home they talk to you as a friend not a customer. A special thanks to Pablo for his advice.
D. T.
For Nikon fans in London, there is no other place to be. Small but well stocked shop with very good prices and a large range of old and new 2nd hand equipment. Always helpful staff make it a pleasure to visit.
A. K. C.
I have been there many times and always found them interesting as a 'old World Shoppe' experience...if there is a certain amount of supercilliousness one can always counteract with a polite.. 'did you know, I went to School with Prince Charles'
Joking aside if you are the Customer then they are the Servants so don't put up with any snobbery..
I have bought most Nikon through the ages from them but have always researched before and therefore have at least equal knowledge when entering the Shoppe.
Always polite and of course as Nikon is their forte you can get the best of advice if you need it.
I look forwards to the updated D4 in due course when they have at least 24 MP Sensor..

Fantastic Shop, I have visited this Aladdin's Cave of Nikon Perfection. The staff are brilliant, really helpful. If you love photography and you love all things cameras this place is the world of Nikon. I purchased a Nikkor 300mm F2.8 Vr2.G Lens. The lens was sent to me when promised and at a very competitive price!! The company went out their way to ensure I got the product I wanted and in quick time frame.......Just can't praise them enough. When you shop here you feel as if YOU are the only person who matters to them at that point, a very personal, professional service!!!
G. D.
Excellent overseas mailing service - my D800 arrived in Montpellier, France, less than 24 hours of ordering it over the phone. Brillant service from a supplier I have been using for nearly 20 years. The second hand stock is always unbeatable in terms of quality and I would describe their retail style as highly professional with an all-important personal touch.
E. B.
For everything Nikon Grays of Westminster are the only and the best place to go for advice and second to none customer service. Grays are the only exclusively Nikon shop in the world and they are the best by a long long way not to put to fine a point on it. I purchased in 2012 a D7000 with Multi-Power batterie pack and it arrived within 24 hours and also I purchased from them a D7100 with Multi-Power batterie pack and a spare batterie a few days ago and again it arrived within 24 hours! Truly exceptional service and an exceptional company I can wholeheartedly say that Grays of Westminster should be everyones number one choice for everything Nikon.
L. P.
If you are long life fan of Nikon that place it’s like candy shop for you. It’s like Hamleys for adults. But what is important you find under one roof:
Dedication, extremely deep knowledge about Nikon ( sorry Jessops you are not a competition ) and very friendly staff. Some people can complain about high prices ( I don’t agree I hassle about price in reasonable way ) but poor people can’t afford bad quality. Final conclusion: Highly recommended !
J. H.
I find Grays addictive - whilst I am a seasoned Nikon user I always enjoy visiting to absorb the atmosphere and ogle the ranks of expensive gold boxes and cased lenses which require a second mortgage. When you enter it is hard to find a reason not to buy.
Further, their new equipment prices are competitive, their secondhand stock unparalleled.
Long may they continue and, of course, remain independent.
E. S.
Went along with a friend to browse Nikon products. Small showroom but a friendly and professional team can be found here. The sales person answered all the questions patiently even though we let him know that we were there to browse and may not buy in the near term. Highly recommended for Nikonians.
J. B. L.
This is the best place in the whole world to visit if you are looking for a Nikon camera. Even if Nikon is not your brand, you should come here anyway to enjoy the atmosphere. I have been a customer for several years and I can safely say that the staff will take good care of you, no matter what you seek. The downstairs second hand show room is an amazing place to look at, and a good place to start of you are looking for something special.
I have had the pleasure of meeting Mr Gray Levett and Mr Uri Zakay personally, and they will always take time to chat with you. I usually deal with the wonderful Ms Tabitha Hardy, who always finds what I want, and the most excellent Ms Tracey Winskill, the Shipping Manager, who makes sure that everything arrives at my door if I cannot come by to pick it up at the store.
Come and visit, it is a very special experience, and one you will remember.
L. M.
Prices are sky high like the quality of the service. You paid for everything is this shop but You know what are You paying for before to enter. I love Gucci and Kenzo for my shoes and suits and I will never go or look into Primark. None obliged You to ring a bell and get in, is Your choice and You shouldn't make a bad review for it. I'm happy for the bell. This mean I will have the time to make my choice in a a beautiful comfortable store where is a pleasure to buy. I'm not a collector, I bought few lenses and few cameras from them - to use them. I have all the time I want to look all I want, all questions I asked was properly answered I was happy to pay the price they ask for and I was delight by the service. I'm glad to have them in London ! They should open more shops in other world capitals.
Also they offer double warranty for all used products, of course you pay for it, but it is like buy a new item. There are no other physical store in London like that. Even the bag they give You is more beautiful then all others. I guess they cost more then few pennies but I'm happy to have them in my hands. When You buy something from Grays You make a small sin for Your own pleasure. Let's do it.
P.
This place is an Aladdin's cave for photographers, especially Nikon owners. You know how book lovers have the British Museum's reading room as the place they go to make a pilgrimage? For Nikon owners, it would be Grays of Westminster. The prices aren't cheap by any stretch of the imagination, but if you are into high end Nikon cameras and accessories, you probably already know this.
J. B.
After visiting various camera stores and trawling through websites in search of my first DSLR, I visited Grays of Westminster on a reccomendation from a friend. On entering the shop, I was impressed by the huge array of camera equipment on show. I had a good idea of what I wanted, and after trying a few different lenses on a D3200 body, I purchased the body with an 18-70mm lens, both second hand but in excellent condition.
Pablo was very helpful in answering any questions I had, and guided me towards my final choice, a fantastic camera at a competitive price (I did very well for the student budget I was on).
After arriving home, I realised the charger and strap were missing, but Pablo had already emailed, informing me they had been posted and the items arrived promptly the following morning via Royal Mail.
I would reccomend Grays of Westminster to anybody interested in the world of photography, first timers for the advice and kits available, and professionals for the huge range of equipment they stock.

A short while ago i purchased a D600 from the team at Grays of Westminster, unfortunately it went wrong they exchanged it without any problem.
What the main problem was the timing of the camera going wrong, i got married in September this year with one week to go it went wrong. I must say the team at Grays of Westminster stepped up to the challenge, the exchanged D600 was sent to me by post and it got lost, so they found it and shipped it to me by courier in the nick of time just hours before we left.
The moral of the story is “you get what you pay for” and as for the Tracey Winskill god love her, I can’t praise her enough she takes customer service to a whole new level

Though the store may look to be long-established and unchanged in some time, appearances are deceiving. This is the best place in the UK for Nikon equipment, new and used. The staff know their stuff backwards. And delivery, including internationally, isn't a problem.

Terrible manners. The supercilious and dismissive attitude of some of the staff is very off-putting. I have spent a lot of money in this shop over the years and when I brought my much loved FM2 in for a minor repair I was rudely told it wasn't worth repairing, and they handed the thing back to me with disdain. I tried explaining that it had sentimental value (being in my family for over 30 years) and their response was actually insulting. I was about to purchase a lens for £499 but couldn't bring myself to give them any more of my business after such treatment. Poor show.

If you're into Nikon and need the best of the best when it comes to service - you've found the right shop! Nothing beats Grays in terms of unique stock of Nikon products.

It reminds you what it was like going into a store where the staff really know about the products they sell. Post lockdown it's all a bit hectic and it's by appointment. Still great to visit.

Recently I ordered a used Nikon F100 body from Grays. It arrived the following day, securely packed, and safe from the ravages of the Post Office. The body was described as EXC++, but when I un-packed it, it appeared to be un-used. I am delighted with both the camera, and superb service given to me by Grays.

Since 2013 Grays of Westminster has been my go to Nikon retailer of choice and as a customer I've always found their customer service exemplary.
If your a nikon shooter or you're thinking of changing over to nikon (which you should) then Grays of Westminster is the only place you need.
All the best,
Gavin

I have been going to Grays for probably about 20 years. since my first SLR if i recall an F3, i have gone through the ranks of Nikon dropping the spectacular F5 for a digital SLr in great sadness when clients went Digital Crazy! Gray, Uri and the team have always been there, always helping out with a secondhand camera or new piece here and there. they always have time for you, thats the difference, thats why i have been going there for so many years. I feel as if my purchasing matters to them, and you know what, it does! No, i am not paid by them yet!! In these days of internet buying, i still prefer to go to Grays, chat to Gray and work out whats best for me and my work. You cant pay enough for that kind of service.

I wanted a Nikkor 85mm f1.8 HC lens, just like the one Thomas (David Hemmings) used in the film Blowup to photograph Verushka. Only Grays of Westminster had one, at £189 plus carriage. Expensive? No, It was what I wanted, was in very good condition for a 1967 lens and came with 12 MONTHS WARRANTY! It had 12 months warranty when new in 1967. The purchase of this lens rounded out my Black Nikon F outfit of 2 black F bodies, 28/f3.5 35/f2 50/f2 85/f1.8 105/f2.5 135/f2.8.
Which fit easily in my old Billingham 335 bag. Since then I've bought focus screens, lens hoods, straps and filters from them, all commensurate with the period of my bodies and lenses. It has been a labour of love for me to assemble this outfit and I take a great deal of pleasure in using this ancient kit. Without Grays of Westminster, I doubt it would have been possible.

We have purchased both new and used bodies and lenses from Grays
The service has always been first rate and every question I have asked has been answered promptly and without prejudice .
In this day and age of faceless internet store Grays is a rare gem

I had been looking around for some photographic equipment and was recommended to Grays by one of their employees, Tracey. On arriving at the quaint, packed, Olde Worlde shop, she intoduced me to Uri who was most helpful and patient with my lack of expertees. He however gave me quite a lot of information which has been invaluable. After the transaction was completed, Tracey was there to make sure I was happy with the service and to give me a run down of their backup facilities. In all, a most enlightening and pleasant experience.

I know that whatever I buy from Grays will be exactly as described. The prices are slightly higher than other places, but largely you get what you pay for, first class service and quick reasonable delivery. I wouldn't hesitate to use them again.

On my visit to Grays of Westminster, I found it to be a delightful store to visit, every corner of it covered in all sorts of beautiful and quality Nikon Camera equipment, from film to digital, manual focus lenses, to autofocus lenses, and when asked for information on a particular item it’s all described in detail, by very knowledgeable and friendly staff, it’s a pity I live north of Birmingham, otherwise I would personally visit more often.

A pleasure to visit. Unpressured and informative. Raffi was keen to ensure I had all the information I wanted before making any purchase, either today or in the future. A "proper" attitude to enduring customer satisfaction. Thank you again.
